I had a great experience with Augusta! They did everything I asked and more. I will use them again to clean out my flower beds and mulch! Looks amazing!

Updated 4/23/25: Two years into service and still very happy with Augusta. I have used them to clean up and mulch my landscapes and had them perform core aeration and seeding each spring. Great service and excellent results. Post-winter cleanup was great too; lots of pine cones and fallen branches but their guy worked diligently to clean up the backyard for a fair price. Excellent communication from the front office. I continue to recommend Augusta.

I had Augusta Lawn Services do weeding, heavy pruning, removal of dead bushes and mulching on my property. Their employee, Adam, showed up on time yesterday, introduced himself, and started working immediately. I was surprised he was alone with no help. He spent the whole day yesterday and about 3 hours this morning finishing up. He has single-handedly transformed my yard. He’s a very hard worker who knows what he’s doing. I was very impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail! I highly recommend this company and especially Adam. I’ve signed up to their monthly maintenance plan to keep the yard looking great.

We treat ourselves to an annual leaf cleanup/mow when spring arrives. Our yard was a MESS. We live on a 1/4 acre quarter lot and the yard was full of sticks/leaves/pinecones. John started around 10am and was done around 3pm. He worked non-stop and had our yard looking brand new/clean/cut when he left. He was very polite and professional. All leaves, sticks, pinecones, and even a huge fallen limb/log were all hauled away. The yard was edged/mowed when done. We will be sticking with Augusta and asking for John! Very happy and highly recommend. I should have taken before/after pics! As an added bonus John has stunning eyes, which has nothing to do with yard cleanup but is a nice bonus! I've had a fantastic experience with Augusta Lawn Care of Virginia Beach. John, the gentleman who came out, did an excellent job mulching, mowing the lawn, and thoroughly cleaning up everything afterward. I highly recommend switching to Augusta if you're not satisfied with your current landscaper!

My lawn care guy, John, did an outstanding job—he was punctual, professional, and left my yard looking immaculate. He was able to get our weeds covering about 2 acres of land under control in no time. I highly recommend his services for anyone looking to keep their lawn in top shape.

I was extremely happy with the service John did today at my home. He was very courteous and asked questions to make sure I was having everything done that was expected. He was very timely in getting the work done as well. I definitely recommend Augusta Lawn Care for your gardening maintenance service. It took me quite awhile to find a reliable company. The Augusta team mowed when we were not home. When we did arrive back home, we found our property in fantastic shape. The crew had done an amazing job of mowing, edging, and blowing. We are extremely satisfied and look forward to working with Augusta this season.

We verbally agreed on a weekly mow schedule. Upon arriving for the 2nd mow, the worker decided that the grass didn't need mowing, so he just left and I was notified by text that I would be charged the bi-monthly mow rate (which is over $20 more) the next time they came. After that, I said they could mow every other week because I wanted the grass kept longer rather than shorter, per recommendation from the lawn fertilizer company I use. The next time they were supposed to come, they just didn't show up and did not communicate about when they were coming to mow. My husband mowed it on Saturday afternoon as we had people coming over that evening and didn't want the lawn to look a mess. Augusta's guy showed up that same day around 5:00pm, to mow, but obviously saw that it had just been mowed. I was sent a nasty text that they were dropping me as a client because the lawn had been mowed. It's their own fault for not communicating. They say they require a 24 hour notice if service is cancelled. I did not cancel the service. They just didn't show up on the scheduled day. How was I to know they were coming on a Saturday to mow. Absolutely no communication with this company and unprofessional texts were sent. I'd keep looking if you are considering this company.
Also, they are famous for saying that they can't find you in the database as a customer when you give them a bad review. Just read all the 1 star reviews and responses and you'll see that I'm correct !

Mason is very professional at what he does, he pays close attention to detail when cleaning up my lawn. I highly recommend.

Scheduling was fast and easy. Customer service has been stellar & able to let crews know we needed a certain time frame & to avoid places in the lawn as we have new grass seed started. The crew was on time and accommodated everything we needed & worked with the handy man who was onsite doing some repairs too to make sure no area of the lawn was overlooked. The crew was friendly and professional, let me know when they arrived and checked in with me before they departed. Couldn’t be happier with the service, staff, and pricing.
