I Called and scheduled an appointment for the end of March. They called me a week later and said they had a cancellation and could move me up to March 17 (st pattys day) at 430. Initially I didn’t really want to, but she said the appointment shouldn’t take long so I agreed. So I took off work early and canceled some plans for later in the evening just to make sure I was there for the appointment. Then they never showed up! After an hour of waiting, i called and the office was closed. Then I called back the next day and they kind of made it sound like it was my fault. They said they thought I had called to cancel the appointment. We then rescheduled the appointment, and unfortunately I had a incident at work pop up where I had to stay late- so then I had to reschedule that appointment. When I call them to tell them that they said that they wouldn’t be able to fit me in until June. I get it’s a busy season, but I’m pretty upset that I should have had this taken care of in March and now I have to wait all the way until June

Tom Rozier is one of the most creative minds in the landscape design business. His company's work ethic coupled with close attention to detail at our home landscape project truly makes the outdoors living areas enjoyable day and night.

I highly enjoyed working with this company. I had an idea and the vision that was able to be created became more than what I could’ve expected! They worked alongside me the whole way and were very attentive! I’ll be using them again for my back yard next and I recommend to all my friends/neighbors! Thank you

can't say enough good things about this company. we absolutely LOVE everything they did for us every step of the way. I've never said that about a hired contractor in my life. We looked into several companies, big and small, to complete a large project in our backyard (landscape and hardscape-paver patio, wood pergola, flagstone patio, and gas firepit) and they were the ONLY company that was prompt, listened to our wishlist, had ideas for us, came back to us with a full drawing and an itemized quote when they said they would one week later, extremely professional, fast, AFFORDABLE, fair, and continue to be AMAZING people to work with. our friends are blown away by the transformation in our backyard, and we now have an outside space that we can enjoy year round. can't say a bad thing about dreamscapes! have referred them to many.....

After looking around different websites for a local landscape designer I decided to call Dreamscape Design due to the various colorful landscapes shown on their website. When I initially spoke with Linda she was helpful and informed me about a promotion running on Angie's list.
I purchased the design consultation but unfortuantely I had to wait about 3 weeks. That was fine with me especially given that I would be provided with a nice design in the end.
After 3 weeks Cristina showed up right on time which is very important to me. She was very friendly and seemed to listen to our needs with the new landscape design. She said that she would follow up in a few weeks.
Everything started off great but not for long.
After a few weeks I did not hear from either Cristina or the company. I called 2-3 times for a follow up and was told Cristina would call me back. There was no callback.
On the 4th try Linda stated to me that Cristina would come by during the afternoon to drop off the design. After not hearing from her my wife checked the mailbox and inside was a standard paper size black and white design of the front yard. I liked the design but I definitely think it could have been presented in a better way.
To this point I still had not been contacted by Cristina or the company and it had been almost 3 weeks.
The next day I still had questions about the design so I called in for the 5th time and Cristina happened to be there. She did answer all of my questions.
Initially the meeting was great and I think Cristina did a very good job on the design. There were a few negatives about this company though.
First off, there were no courtesy calls at all which I think are very important. This lets the customer know that they are not just a number. Secondly, I think that if a representative from the company informs you that something will get done and it doesn't get done it is very unprofessional. Lastly, I believe that this design that was presented should have been presented better. For example: on a bigger piece of paper with some color would have been great with the designer presenting it. I just think that when you're providing a service you should not deliver the bare minimum but rather make a great impression to your clients and leave a lasting memory. This way your clients will be inclined to refer you to other people. -
Dreamscapes’s came to our home, Tom walked the property with us and developed an in-depth landscape plan with our input. The man has a gift for looking at plain ground and envisioning the possibilities.
His execution was flawless. His crew was professional and personable.
I have recommended his services to our friends and he has not disappointed. -
We first contacted the company in April and were excited to have one of the designers, Christina, come out a few weeks later to talk about what we wanted. We didn’t have a dollar amount in mind a the time, we just knew we wanted a lush, English garden style landscape with room for planting seasonal fruits and veggies. The initial meeting went great and she told us she would have a plan for us in a a few weeks. That was the last thing that actually happened on time and when we got the plan the next week we were in love, and decided to splurge and go with everything on the design, close to $30k.
We were told work would start at the end of May and be completed within a week. The last week of May we got a call saying they were behind and would start the following week. The following week they put in about 1/4 of the landscaping (on the side of our house) and didn’t even weed properly as weeds were already sprouting up over the next few days. They said they would be back at end of the week to do the hardscape which didn’t happen. It finally got done towards the end of June and took 2 days longer than they said, as they had 1 or 2 guys working on it the entire time.
Our pergola and other woodwork was supposed to be done the following week, but the guy never showed up. When we called they told use their guy was ‘sick’ and that they weren’t sure when he would be coming because he had a project to complete at the new outlet malls instead. The next week they came out and finished the landscaping in the back. After it was done we realized the design didn’t cover up under our steps like we spoke about, so we asked if they planned to fix it somehow. They said they could have the wood guy put trellises over it, and tried to charge us an additional $600 which we refused to pay.
The pergola was finally completed a week later, but provided no shade which was the purpose to begin with. The trellises weren’t installed at that time and took another week to be installed, but it was not painted. We asked if they planned on painting it and were told ‘we are landscapes and he is a carpenter, we can put you in touch with painters if you’d like.” Seriously? I’m paying you 30k and that’s the service I get?
We discovered the carpenter trampled a bunch of plants as well and they wanted us to pay the rest of the money before the plants were replaced, because the ‘install was completed as promised.’ Ha!
Multiple gardenias they installed died (even though we told them we trouble with gardenias dying previously) as well a few other plants. It look over a month of texts, emails, calls to finally get them replaced. The day they came to replace them, I accidentally left the back gate locked, so instead of calling me and seeing if I could come by or coming a different day, they just left those plants on the porch. I called to see if they would be coming back and was told it would be an additional $180 charge for them to come back….absurd. One of the plants was also missing (either forgotten or stolen,) and they refused to bring another one. Tags were left on the plants they were able to install, and when I addressed that I was told “it was so we could identify the plants.” Even though in the checklist we signed after install one the blocks was “tags removed from plants.”
It’s hard to stress in words how frustrating and disappointing this experience was. When you pay 30,000 for a dream landscape you expect amazing service and professionalism, which was far from met. A project that was supposed to take a week ended up taking almost 3 months to complete and every time we addressed it we were given another excuse, as other projects seemed to be more important than ours. Topped off by the owner calling me “bro” and “dude” repetitively, and making jokes that I’ll owe him a beer when this is all done.
Please save yourself from a nightmare experience like we had and go with one of the many other landscaping companies in the area. -

Communication was great but execution on their projects was very underrated. Sprinkler system was done poorly. Was done not attached to the main water line but the spigot in my backyard. They laid sod down and complained about dead squares and never replaced the dead areas. Didn't lay down the weed guards in my flower beds so constantly have weeds growing. They also "forgot" to put in trees in my yard. I had to remind them two months later and all I got was a, "sorry we are available to do it in a week."
Overall service was very mediocre but they are kind. Would go with a different service though, wouldn't recommend due to more negatives than positives.
