This company is phenomenal. The work they did was better then any other company I’ve ever called. The guy Rob really killed it with his performance, pretty much a one man army. He was fast and clean, and overall a great employee for this business. Definitely give them a call!

Weekly mowing/edging and Spring Clean-up. Excellent Customer service, quick to respond to any questions, always on time with service. Excellent communication. Crew workers professional, excellent work, responsive to requests. Clean up. Yard looks great. I highly recommend!

We started with Ashton landscaping about 6 months ago. Kevin is the one that came an treated out lawn and since day one he was completely honest and told me that my Bermuda glasses needed some TLC but that by the summer it will be thick and green! Andxthats exactly what has,happened! We couldn't be any happier with how our Bermuda grass looks! Im definitely continuing my business with this great company!! Thanks Kevin!!

We tried for years to get our yard looking great and never really got it there. We got close but once we went with Ashton it looked exactly how we always wanted it to. I recommend the slit seeding right during the fall. That’s what made it turn for us!

My husband and I met with Chip to talk with him about our yard, which at the time was just weeds and Dallas grass. We wanted a one-stop-shop so we did not have to coordinate multiple contractors & he delivered! He designed a beautiful landscaped yard and explained why he choose the plants he did (so we will have items blooming from spring through the fall). His crew came in and dug-out all of the weeds & grass...by hand, installed an inground watering system...by hand and planted the most beautiful plants, trees, inground lighting, and sod you have ever seen. His team is run by Mike and I cannot tell you how professional he was and the guys who worked with him on the yard were fabulous. They answered all of our questions even after they were done & gone, we can text them (which we have) and they are quick to respond with the answer or will drive out to talk with us...we live in Sandbridge. They even have a maintenance plan if you choose to have someone else do the up-keep. I very highly recommend them to anyone.

I called 4 landscaping companies in Virginia Beach and only Ashton Landscaping was of help. I had basic questions about sod. None of the other 3 companies would take the time to answer them. Mr.Ashton, took the time and explained the process to me. He went out of his way to explain and answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend any one needing landscaping to go with this company. They are very knowledgeable, accessible, professional, and attentive. I look forward to doing many projects with Ashton Landscaping.

We had Ashton for many years and were happy with their work back then. Now, their work has taken a terrible turn. The quality is terrible (they killed my entire front grass), phone calls are never returned, and work that was promised never gets done. I am completely dissatisfied and would not recommend using them for any of your lawn care/ landscaping needs.

Ashton is working on my neighbors house across the street. They saw us setting up for a party outside today. The foreman came over and asked if we wanted them to blow the leaves off my drive way. Didn’t ask for money - just being cool. They blew the leaves, bagged them up, and moved their trucks down a bit to give us some space for the party. Super classy move. Thanks guys.

I have been using Ashton landscaping since about 2012, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! My yard has always looked immaculate, and the staff has always been very nice and personable. The owner himself has personally come and spoke with me and is very professional and friendly. They always come to me in a timely matter, so I’m very thankful for that as well.

Hired Ashton Landscaping to reroute drainage, replace a tree/mulch with a flower bush/pond rocks, and clear out overgrowth. From estimate to completion, this company and crew were top notch! This is our third big project with Ashton--so relieved to have found a company that stands by their word with an eye for the customer. Thank you!

I had a great experience with Ashton Landscaping. I have had bad
experiences in the past with other companies planting sod on my front lawn. Chip was always professional. During the consultation phase I treated him with mistrust. He replied politely with understanding and clearly stated his methodology and follow up. The cost was very reasonable. Because I trusted him with my lawn, I entered into an agreement about Lawn maintenance. All winter long, my lawn was green and healthy.
This spring the lawn is thick, green and growing. I highly recommend

I am so happy with the landscape work that I had done. I recently moved to the area and really had no idea about reputable companies. I saw Ashton Landscape trucks in my neighborhood, so decided to give them a call- Ashton as well as other companies that saw signs for. Ashton was the first company to reply.
The gentleman that came out to give the estimate was professional thorough. It wasn't until later that I realized it was the owner. We decided to sign on for the lawn maintenance and have Ashton re-do some planter beds that I had in the front of my house. We are very happy with all of the work and interactions. I feel good about supporting a family owned business. Maybe it is because I am from New York that I am not used to "Southern Hospitality", but I think Ashton Landscaping goes "ABOVE & BEYOND!"

I'd like to recommend Ashton Landscaping and particularly Maggie who went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with with the weekly maintenance of the crew. She has always been very helpful with suggestions as well! I have been getting calls from the office after services to make sure I was satisfied. Thank you!

I reached out to Ashton Landscaping because of a postcard we received marketing there services. Our yard needed a major clean up including removal of existing shrubs and plants and shrubs. I place the call and was immediately helped and an appointment was set quickly for a consultation and estimate of cost. I met with Joel who was professional and thoroughly listened to what I wanted and made suggestions for me to consider. An estimate was sent to me me right away and I signed up for their services. Clean up and installation was delayed by me due to needing an electrician to come and install junction boxes for up lighting in a couple of our trees. Ashton's office, in particular Maggie, was very good at checking in with me to see if the electrical work had been done and once it had an appointment was set for the yard work to be done. The crew that came out to do the work was professional, polite, hard working, and did a great job. I would recommend Ashton Landscaping to anyone as they were always professional, did what they said they were going to do, and did a wonderful job!

Ashton Landscaping does a wonderful job for our property. They have competent people doing their landscaping. If you call the office, for any reason, the staff is always ready, willing and able to handle your needs.

Ashton Landscaping was highly recommended by a coworker and I am so glad I decided to go with them. My yard has transformed in a matter of weeks! My husband and I spent a 3 month process deciding and determining steps for our backyard that went from a wild mud pit and was completely transformed. We enjoyed our experience with Ashton Landscaping truly from top to bottom. The work was done QUICKLY and professionally and looks absolutely fantastic. We had ground brush clearing, tilling, the creation of a bordered play area, the creation of a metal bordered mulched beds as well as sod installation completed. The price was very fair, and money well spent. The price quoted was also the least expensive of 3-4 quotes received. I hesitated to choose Ashton after reading some reviews, however, I had a feeling in the end they would do a great job. I even enjoyed communicating with the office manager, Maggie, who is an expert on all things, and our project/quote manager Derrick, who is very kind. I will note that we did have to make some edits to the original quote in order to TRULY clarify every aspect of the job. If we had not done our research prior, there may have been some things left off. For a big job like sod installation - I would definitely recommend anyone double check work before moving forwards with any contract or payment. I don't anticipate further needs with Ashton Landscaping at this point since the job was so well done - but would definitely recommend to a friend or neighbor.

We had Ashton plant 3 Leyland Cypress trees on our property. Soon after, it was apparent they were not thriving. Several times I asked them to come out to check on them and advise me as to what they needed. They never came. I provided pictures and was told at various times that they needed more water, less water, and more water. Ultimately the trees died. I have contacted them multiple times to replace them, but nothing has been done.

Ashton Landscaping did a complete renovation on our property in 2022, maintained our yard maintenance until 2024. This year they did a spring cleanup on the same home (which is now a rental property) and they did another outstanding job. Highly recommend them!!

Chip and his team were amazing to work with. Chip really listened to what we wanted and helped us accomplish it. His crew was respectful of our property and always left the project tidy and clean. We had an 80 foot long by 6 foot high retaining wall put in. The craftsmanship of Ashton is incredible. It was nice to utilize a company who was a one stop shop. They did all hard scape, irrigation, yard clean up, sod, and landscaping. The team was easy to get a hold of and communicated appropriately regarding any delays due to weather.
