Steve installed our guest bath curved shower curtain rod in our guest room and did a wonderful job. He is knowledgeable , efficient and professional.

I called Mr Handyman at 10:15am this morning to set up a estimate for a mailbox/post repair expecting an appointment within a few days. Much to my surprise I was on their schedule today between 11am-1pm. That time table was slightly extended to 2pm due to problems at a prior job. David Taylor came at 2pm & presented me with a terrific estimate of the job. I had already prepared by having replacement mail post & mailbox plus having " Miss Utility " out yesterday & had all the required underground utilities marked so David was able to proceed with the job . Job was complete by 3pm. Perfect !! David was very knowledgeable, professional & friendly. I appreciated him leaving me with a information sheet describing all services your company supplies. I will definitely use you services again

Mr. Handyman began its excellent service with a prompt arrival to provide an estimate for our repairs. We purchased the necessary materials as directed by our estimate. Matt, our Handyman Technician, arrived as scheduled and worked diligently until all projects were completed. He built a shed door and reinforced it to exceed the original. Matt kept me informed on each repair and corrected issues the previous owner had neglected.

We have more projects for Mr. Handyman and look forward to their continued excellent service.

Handyman was professional and competent and he did the repairs the same day, which was great. He installed a new aerator in one bathroom sink and snaked out a different sink drain that was draining slowly. His work was very good and he went the extra mile to make sure he had the right replacement parts. I have no complaints except that the price was high ($369 to fix the two sinks).

Wonderful experience....I'm so proud of my new floors. Mark is the greatest, he's professional and great attitude. His work is top notch. His timing perfect !!! Absolutely I would use this company again and again and again!!!! Love my floors.

I had a wonderful customer service experience with my Mr. Handyman technician, Triston Lentz.
He was very informative in explaining to me what steps he was completing in the installation of my ceiling fan. Triston really takes ownership of his work.

Our technician was David Lawrence. He was very nice and professional, while doing a fantastic job. He replaced our fireplace mantle. He also saved us the cost of replacing a sliding glass door by replacing rollers on existing door! Works as if brand new! We will definitely use them again and highly recommend this company! Thank you David for a great job done!

Mr. Handyman of VB will measure twice and cut once. They are methodical in their approach to the work required and it produces accurate and attractive results. Tristan and David prepared their work area (protecting our outdoor furniture) used a camera to check the existing fascia for any signs of rot (thankfully none) and then resealed and added new copper flashing to an existing deck. Looks wonderful. Tristan and David kept us informed regarding their progress. They cleaned up their work space and moved our furniture back when the job was completed. We would definitely contract with Mr. Handyman of Virginia Beach again.

I highly recommend Handyman of Virginia Beach. From the initial phone contact with them, through the assessment by Clayton F to the job of extending a kitchen vent above the stove into the correct position and then installing an above stove microwave I was highly satisfied. The work done by Clayton F & Anthony W, was careful and efficient work, and special care was taken to protect my home. They cleaned up after the job. They were a pleasure to work with.
I also want to say Handyman of VB took on a job other businesses declined to take as it was a “small job”. People forget that small jobs can lead to other larger jobs that need to be done.

Mr. Handyman was called because I needed a number of projects done. Tristan came out, gave us an estimate and we were pleased with the quote. He installed a new front porch railing, he removed and replaced broken shingles on the house and removed rotted wood trim around the front of the garage. He cut and installed new trim and painted that and the new house side shingles. He also removed an old, Hugh Direct TV dish. Tristons' work was impeccable. Not only was the work great, he cleaned up everything and removed all trash. The place looked better when he was done. Tristan was also a pleasure to work with. Brittany and Greg at Mr. Handyman kept me up-to-date with time and date of my appointments. I can not thank them all enough. Professional and friendly organization. I will use them again.

Triston Lentz came to my condo and got my guest bathroom looking brand new again with grout and caulking. Triston was fast and professional ensuring he put out plastic cover to protect all the other bathroom pieces and left and clean and professional job!

I truly appreciate Mr. David Lawrence fixing my glass shower door when roller wheel came off the door. The original installer out business now. So thank you again for fixing a difficult problem that I could not do myself.

Had exterior trim work done by David Lawerence and not only was the work top notch but very timely. Davis is easy to talk to and doesnt seem to mind checking in every so often. Really good experience! Nice job, David!

Trystin did amazing work. He replaced multiple pieces of door and floor trim that my dog had chewed on as a puppy. His attention to detail is over the top. Just an incredible job!

Steve from Mr. Handyman was extremely timely and did a great job finishing my fireplace trim project. Had one small issue by the Team at Mr Handyman was amazing and took care of it immediately. I will definitely refer them in the future and use them again!

Truly went above and beyond. Hired them to put some siding back on my shed that fell down during a storm. Not only did they put it back up, they sealed the cracks that formed during the fall. Easy to schedule with, humored me and gave me additional quotes to satisfy my curiosity, paperwork was all easy, and it was a great price. Definitely keeping their contact info.

I purchased 2 exterior doors and three storm from Home Depot and October 9th one door, and two storm doors were done. The person asked if he could put the other door in my shed and I told him yes, not knowing he wasn't coming back. I called Home Depot about the problem and they scheduled me for December 21st. I told them that was unacceptable. Long story short, I found Mr. Handyman online and called them and by it being so close to Christmas time I thought that I would get an appointment in January, no, Ms.Jasmine gave me an appointment on December 11th for the measurements by Tristan. He told me he was booked into January but they have another Tristan and he was just as good. He came out December 23rd the day before Christmas Eve. I was shocked. On December 23rd it had been raining and they kept abreast as to weather permitting they would be here. Tristan came to my house and installed my exterior door and storm door. Both Tristans were very polite and courteous. The work was excellent and the cost was the same as Home Depot. Mr. Handyman does just about everything and they are considerate of your time. Mr. Handyman earns your service and I will be using them again. Thank you Tristan, Tristan and Jasmine. Merry Christmas and a HAPPY New Year!!!! If you get a chance to be on hold check out their hold music. I thought it was funny!

UPDATE: After 2nd fix water is coming in worse. See picture. I am demanding a full refund. Absolutely worse repair.

Extremely expensive (800.00) for adding weather stripping to stop a french door leak and having a board screwed in front of the threshold to stop water entry. Below are photos from the first fix.

We had to have the company back a 2nd time to reseal the doors correctly the next day because there was still a gap. I will update on how the fix holds up after the first rain.
