Mr. Handyman was able to get my fire stick working. My fire stick were disable for weeks. It was difficult finding a technician to come out to my home with electronics background. Mr Handyman trouble shot the problem and now I have a fire stick that works. I do recommend.

A car hit our home a few weeks back doing significant damage to the outside and inside of our home. Mr. Handyman took excellent care of us, matched our insurance company quote (which was lower than the cost of the work), and make our home look even better than it did before the accident. We'll definitely be using them again down the road.
Special shout out to Eric T. who was there every day of the project. Not only did he do amazing work, he was also polite, informative, and played great music!

Called to replace an interior bedroom door. First technician came out and did an incredibly poor job. Typically my wife and I would be able and willing to do the task, but with a newborn baby, we figured we would hire it out and save the stress and energy. We should have done it ourselves. We told them exactly what we wanted, a flush white door to match the other rooms in the hallway. First off, the tech came to the house and measured the door and went to Home Depot to pick up the door. He said he would do most of the work outside because of the baby and install it. I trusted he got the door we agreed to and didn't pay him much attention until the job was complete. He installed the wrong door, a 6 panel door, not a flush door and the work was incredibly sloppy. His excuse was it was the only one in stock. I called the main office, where they were actually very helpful in fixing the issue and sent out a second technician to fix it. I went to Home Depot myself to verify the door we needed was in stock and called them back to give them the exact SKU we needed and that there were 5 in stock. The only problem here was he had to go to Home Depot 3 times because he kept getting the wrong door. What was supposed to be a 2-3 hour job lasted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the whole purpose of hiring a handman is to save time and stress. We saved none of those. We had other errands to run that day that we could not get done. And to compensate us for the inconvenience, we received a whole $20 discount on labor. The only reason they get 2 stars instead on 1 is because they actually came back out to make it right, but is was a 9+ hour day of staying home and wasting our time. Not a happy customer and cannot recommend

When I first called I was told their lead person would be coming out due to the scope of four jobs. After telling me they'd have the estimate in a few days, 2 weeks later I was still calling. When I finally received it, I was shocked. A 15' wall with a prehung door, no electrical, or anything was quoted at $4700.04! Needless to say, they got my $60 fee for the estimates, but they did not get my business. Total quotes were consistently 5x or more higher than others. Beware people!

Mr Handyman crew just completed extensive repair work on my condo and I cannot say enough about the excellent work Steven and Robert did. I had issues with rainwater leaking through windows and down inside walls. As it turned out, the windows were not flashed by the previous window installer and the wood underneath my siding had rotted over time. Steven and Robert did a great job replacing the rotten wood, flashed and sealed the windows and installed new j-channels and window trim. I had previous experience with contractors, but never had the level of expert work and attention to detail that I had with Mr Handyman’s service. Paul made sure that I was comfortable with what was needed to be done to ensure I did not have any more issues going forward. They were friendly, courteous, prompt and explained everything every step of the way. I am so grateful to have the issues fixed and the peace of mind that I will not have any more issues.
Everything turned out great and I will definitely use Mr Handyman’s services again in the near future for my next project.

I'm not sure which handy man service my neighbor used - the vb or norfolk location - but this is the trash that was left behind in my yard and they still have not come to clean it up! It's been over a week. I just moved in next door this is ridiculous 😑 it's like a huge pile of dirt and debris about 6 feet all the way around and there's no way I can move it myself. (Even though I shouldn't have to)

Fantastic job. Went above and beyond as well. Called out for gutters, their tech Trystin was friendly and cleared off not only what needed doing but saw my walkway and ac were coated in pine straw and cleared those as well. He’s dog friendly and my boys took to him when he gave permission for them to meet him.

I received a text informing me that the Mr. Handyman technician (Matt T.) was on the way. My appt window was 8:00a - 9:00a. Matt rang my doorbell at 7:59a. This was the beginning of a superb day of services provided by Matt.

He initially hung a heavy picture frame for me in an awkward location (going upstairs)! After he finished I asked if he could perform an additional service that was beyond the scope of the original contract. He ended up installing two rodent guards over vent exhaust ducts located high up on the side of my home.

Throughout the entire service experience Matt was the epitome of professionalism and excellence! He was extremely courteous and even conversational while he performed his work.

I would highly recommend Matt (i.e., Mr. Handyman) when you need repair services of any kind performed around your home. I would give Matt ten (10) stars if I could.

Oh boy.....I called with an urgent need to upgrade 1/2 bath. I couldn't talk to anyone so it sent me what I thought was a chat with someone. It was all very thorough. They were positive they could help. We'll almost a week later. Im realizing I haven't heard anything. So I call. Now I find out it was a bot. & they weren't even the right franchize...really???

The Technician arrived promptly at my residence. He was cordial, I discussed the issues I had going on with my Kitchen cabinet drawer. The Technician made his assessment and gave me his recommendations. I agreed with the terms of the contract. Technician did a wonderful Job!, successfully fixing my cabinet drawer.

Triston is the ultimate professional! He is extremely knowledgeable, he talks TO you (not at you) and he describes in detail what is needed and why. I would HIGHLY recommend Triston for any work you may need, he definitely will not disappoint and the end results are absolutely amazing! I am very pleased with his work and look forward to scheduling Triston for future work that I would like to have done. Thank you Triston for a great result!

I am very delighted to have found Mr. Handyman of Virginia and Triston. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and did an excellent job in repairing my fence. He even installed a new latch on my gate for easy access! I would highly recommend this outstanding organization. My fence looks almost brand new!🆕

Steve the electrician put 2 new porch light fixtures up for me. He came out to estimate price only , but anded up putting the fixtures up the same day. He went out of his way to make it easier for me so I did appreciate the gesture. He also did a great job! You have to pay the price for great customer service.😉

Did a great job with the issue, but for the insane overpricing, the work should have been 100% perfect. Over $800 to replace a door frame is crazy. Door didn’t close properly, I had him fix it before he left and he did. Technician was kind and left me a paintbrush so I could fix the paint. But wouldn’t recommend overall.
