Kono Tree Care took down a large Oak tree in our backyard in Va Beach. Christian and his team were on time, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We had the tree removed, the stump ground down, and the mulch removed. Each Kono team member had a clear job and they kept the process moving along with ease. They cleaned up as they went, so we didn’t have to deal with removing branches and debris from the yard once they left. It was an impressive job from start to finish. Our neighbors also noticed the smooth operation and spoke to Christian about helping them out at their homes as well. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of having a tree removed. 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kona did an awesome job , cleaning up my tree in the yard as well as cleaning trees off my property line . They were efficient , clean up all limbs as well as got the needles off my roof and cleaned up leave in the front and back yard . The first picture is a before , second was after and the last was an action shot.

We had several large trees, as well as pruning to be done. We got 3 quotes from 3 separate companies, Kono Tree Care being one of them. The owner was quick, responsive, courteous, and VERY knowledgeable. He came out on time and did an estimate, we agreed on a price, he sent me the written quote and we were scheduled. Throughout the job he and his crew were truly amazing! They were respectful and cleaned up everything as it was before.
Out of the 3 companies, Kono was the ONLY one who was a straight shooter and not just trying to find ways to charge you for every last little thing. We will 100% choose them again for our needs.

We highly recommend Kono Tree Care. We were able to get a fair quote from Christian to take our tree down. They arrived on time and took the tree down in just over 2 hours. Christian and all of his team were extremely professional and courteous. We would definitely use them again!

What an exceptional experience! Kono Tree Care promptly returned my inquiry, and Christian was available to come out that same day to evaluate the trees and give us a quote. He took the time to explain what he and his crew would do, the why and how it would benefit the trees in our yard.
Scheduling the service was quick, and the crew arrived and got right to work.
It was incredible to watch them all collaborate as the climbers took care of trimming within the upper limbs, while the ground crew swiftly cleared the debris.
They laterally cleared 3 large trees, as well as ground down a large pine stump, and left everything clean in under 3 hours!

I finally took off one of the projects that I had planned for my property! I had trees from my neighbor's side drooping down to my roof area, which left my roof dirty, and my gutters clogged up. I also had a few trees drooping down to the street that was on the way. Kono Tree Care came in for a free estimate and got me taken care of two weeks later. They came in on time and sidewalled two trees, elevated another two, and got rid of the bush growing around the small space behind my shed. They made sure I was happy with the results and cleaned up after themselves, including the mess that was left on my neighbor's area. They also made sure they cleaned up the few things that were left on the street. They also made a recommendation on one tree by the powerlines to save some money. They also told me how much should be cut on the tree to save it still, which shows how much they still care about your trees. While they're trimming down the trees, they made sure to catch it, leaving no damages to my property and piled it up nicely.

I have one tree between my neighbor and I that I plan on getting rid of down the line, and I'll be sure to call Kono Tree Care for that next project.

Kono Tree Company is as professional as it gets. Hands down would recommend them to anyone looking for removal or simply cleaning up any tree you have that just needs some TLC. Showed up on time and got right to business. Customer service and attention to detail was excellent. Removed a fence panel and a few shrubs to get everything cleared out which went back in with perfection. Christian and his crew went above and beyond to take care of all surroundings while accomplishing a not so average maple removal with structures and a well maintained yard to deal with. There are many tree services in our area but we made the right decision in calling and hiring Kono Tree Care to remove a tree in our front yard. Christian and his team showed up on time and were friendly and professional. I think they really enjoy what they do and are very good and efficient at their job. Will definitely hire this small business again!

The team did a really good job of doing exactly the trimming I needed, but what most impressed me was the clean up. I want to preface the cleaning comment with I did not have any trees removed completely. They did a lot of trimming and pruning much higher than I was comfortable doing myself. When the guys were done, I could not tell that chainsaws were used all around my yard. The sawdust, leaves and chunks of wood were completely gone. I had 8 trees pruned.

Christian+Chandler+crew came to our house to remove two large trees. See before and after pictures. These guys know what they are doing. Great communication and service overall. They answered my questions before and during the process. They cleaned up everything very well. It took them less than 3 hours. Very professional team. Highly recommended. Will definitely rehire.

Christian from the beginning of getting a quote the same day I called for the estimate to the day when the tree was removed was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He and crew on the day of removal were punctual and also professional. KONO Tree Care was not the cheapest nor most expensive quote we received, however, their customer service and overall all expertise of how they handled the job we had them do, definitely made us very confident that we went with a GREAT company and will plan to use them again without hesitation. We will also highly recommend them to any family and friends that may be in need of their services. They took steps to protect the yard with lack of a better term, “skid plates” from branches that were due to be lowered from heights.

We've used Kono twice this year to remove a total of 5 trees.We live on a main road which complicated the job. One of the trees hung over the road, while another was under (and in) the power lines. The team is clearly well-trained and experienced because they had no issues felling our trees quickly and efficiently.We highly recommend them!

Christian and Chandler and their team did such a wonderful job! They removed a huge pine tree in several cuts out of my yard and lifted it over my house with a crane! It was really neat to see! They also pruned all my trees and did such a fabulous job. There is so much more sunlight in my yard. It’s beautiful! I have used them twice now and their customer service skills are A+ and just the kind of people you can depend on to be professional and attend to what needs to be done. I highly recommend Kono Tree Care. You get what you pay for and then some. You can’t go wrong with these young men. I just think the world of them and they are so pleasant to work with every time.

Kono Tree Care did an amazing job from start to finish! They were prompt, professional, efficient, and thorough. They took down two trees and with Christian‘s knowledge and expertise I was able to save a third. They also saved three baby squirrels, carefully cutting away the trunk they had nestled in. Mama came back later and brought them to their new home. What an amazing crew! They took extra care in leaving my yard and the surrounding areas in pristine condition. In fact, a few of my neighbors joined the watch party, as we watch Christian and his team efficiently take down our pine tree in less than 2 hours. (Tree removal, stump grinding, and clean-up) In fact, they left my yard looking better than they found it.

10/10. Starting with the estimate, Christian was very knowledgeable and the estimate was very fair. On the day of the tree removal and weight reduction of two other trees, Christian and his crew were on time, professional, and very thorough, not to mention tidy once the job was done. I will only use Kono Tree Care moving forward. I cannot recommend them enough! True professionals.
