Oceana home services has exceeded our expectations! I called last minute on a Sunday and they were in my home for a deep clean by Monday! My home is sparkly clean and we will continue to use their services! Everyone has been professional and friendly. They are willing to accommodate whatever needs you have and I highly recommend!

We were initially very encouraged by Luis’s communication and responsiveness, which gave us high hopes for the Airbnb turnover cleaning service we had arranged. Unfortunately, the two cleanings Luis performed himself were far below expectations. On both occasions, the toilets appeared to have not been cleaned, some towels provided were stained, floors were still dirty, mirrors hadn’t been wiped down, and in one instance, a bed was left unmade with the sheets piled at the foot.
Our guests reached out with complaints after both stays, which forced us to issue full refunds — a frustrating and costly outcome. When we addressed these issues with Luis, he denied the concerns. Upon expressing hesitation about continuing the arrangement, Luis informed us that he no longer had the motivation to clean our property. He also promised a refund for one of the cleanings, which was never received.
Overall, we’re very disappointed with the quality of service and the lack of accountability. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this service for short-term rental cleanings.

I hired this company for a post-construction deep clean, paying almost $500. I was told they would mop the floors, dust the shelves, and leave me satisfied with their work. Instead, I’m still finding dust everywhere—under the bed, on the floors, and even on the bathroom floor, which still has construction debris. The shelves they said they would wipe down are still dusty; I have photos showing linens placed on visibly dusty shelves.

I absolutely would not recommend hiring them. They seem to do only minimal spot cleaning rather than a true deep clean. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I would give. They don’t move furniture, my baseboards were left dirty, and for the price I paid, this is unacceptable. If they charged closer to $200, it might be understandable, but $500 for this level of service is outrageous.

Frankly, I don’t want to hear any excuses about why I should have spoken up sooner. I hired a professional, and if I have to tell them how to do the job, they should be paying me, not the other way around. Honestly, speaking, I should’ve terminated the service as soon as he put my dirty, dusty shoes in my clean linen basket and laid things that were on the floor across my bed. My sheets are permanently stained. I’m unsure what agent they were using that destroyed my sheets, but here we are. Hopefully, you have a better experience than I did, but I haven’t had any luck with cleaners in the Hampton Roads area. Good luck.

I’ve been busy and only just got around to posting this review, but I took notes right after they left. Their work was sloppy, and I would never recommend them.

[EDITED REVIEW - edited some parts of my previous review after I was reached out to] I am modifying my review to 4 stars for the stellar customer service provided by the owner himself. The owner of the Oceana called me after seeing this review and took full accountability for everything that happened. He was polite, understanding, communicative, and offered me a full refund for this whole situation. I really appreciated his honesty and willingness to make things right for me and also better his company. He informed me that there will be further training given to cleaners to avoid situations like this again. I am positive if I spoke to him or someone like him first, things would have not escalated and I could have walked away happy with my service. Thank you for taking accountability and hearing me out.

I recently had my 1bed 1bath 650sq ft apartment cleaned by oceana home services. I requested the move in cleaning, which was priced at $275 + $75 carpet cleaning addition +$50 tip. The apartment was completely empty, and already “professionally” cleaned before but I still wanted another cleaning to make sure everything was in great shape before I moved in. I wanted to copy this EXACT statement from their move in/out cleaning description: “Move-out cleaning
ensures that the property is left in excellent
condition, often exceeding the cleanliness standards of a deep cleaning.”

Summary of issues in order
- serviced on 2/19/2025 9AM. came back in the evening to see things were missed
- dusty counter tops, dirty kitchen sink, stains left in the cabinets / countertops / drawers, and crumbs in the drawers.
- called and was told they would return to fix the issues after sending them photo evidence

- Friday morning 2/20/2025 11:00 AM still see some of the same issues not fixed even though photos were sent
- photos resent, recalled and told they would come back
- declined a walkthrough as I did feel there’s an expectation of universal cleanliness standards for a deep cleaning
- was upset that I always had to follow up to ensure the cleanings were executed (lack of communication)

- Friday evening 2/20/2025
- areas were missed from vacuuming (dust, dog hair, crumbs) evidence by using my personal Dyson that has a green leading light
- didn’t reach out again about this particular issue as I felt like it wasn’t worth the back and forth again

- Saturday night (2/21/2025) , 2.5 days after initial cleaning the bedroom carpet was vacuumed to see that a whole tank full of dust accumulation , hence this review was written

- was only offered a $50 refund from the manager (saturday morning, before I discovered the carpet issue)
- felt the manager was not taking customers side, deflecting the issues I brought up by stating arbitrary comments like they’ve never had a complaint in 4 years, dust accumulates differently, etc.
- stated the cleaners use GoPros and I asked for video evidence and proceeds to tell me sometimes they do not for XYZ reasons

overall was not happy with the approach to
Make things right for me when I spent $400 of my money that should have been a deep cleaning.

Awesome guy! He did great work, reasonably priced, and very knowledgeable. Came out the day after I called him and was on top of things! This wasn't just a job for him but his passion and you could tell. Very thorough in every detail. Would definitely call him back!
