Wow, this was absolutely the best experience I could have hoped for. From Rachel, the person who made the appt to the owner Mike and his guys that came out to my house, they were all professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and did everything they promised and more. Mike came out and gave me a free estimate that was very fair. They cut down 3 enormous trees and even cleaned the lower branches of other trees! It was scary to watch, but I felt comfortable that they knew what they were doing. The trees were massive and detrimental to my house so now my backyard is much larger and bright. They even cleaned up, put the fence back, and blew all the shavings away. I would recommend Art Is Tree to anyone looking for tree services...they're the best!

I hired this company to trim some very tall trees 30 feet up in my back yard from my neighbor that were overshadowing my roof plus two trees in my front yard that were thinned out and shaped.
First, the cost estimate was great.These guys busted their butts in 105 degree heat index temps. They finished my job in about four hours and I couldn't be happier. My wife and I were very impressed with their work ethic, professionalism and efficiency. They were able to answer all of my questions, explain their trim and cut process and asked if everything was ok before moving on to another area. I consider this to be some of the best money I ever spent. My yard and trees look great and their cleanup after the job was exceptional. This company will be my go to tree company from now on. Without hesitation.

The entire crew was so impressive! We are thrilled with the results. All of the guys were very professional, and used great care in trimming the overhanging tree branches, and with the clean up. They did an outstanding job! Highly recommend Art-is-Tree!

This crew is AMAZING!!! Takes a lot for me to write a review because I find most businesses to be mediocre these days. Communication was great, they were on time, professional, respectful (rare these days, so I was over the top happy), cleaned up ALL debris, extremely careful of my yard decor, and did an amazing job on pruning my massive oak! This team was top notch in all aspects, highly recommend!

Art-is-Tree is too notch service! Came quickly to asses the damages from a downed limb, provided fair pricing and removed limb just as quickly. In addition to the limb removal, they also assessed tree damage and recommended removing entire tree for safety. They take care of their customers and love what they do!

I had Art Is Tree come out to elevate and prune an out of control Bartlet pear tree in my front yard. They were the best group of men. They are knowledgeable and they communicate exactly what they are going to do and get the customers input on what they are trying to achieve. They called me out to look at the tree when they were finished to see if there was anything else I wanted cut but honestly they did great They cleaned everything up and chipped all the branches. I would also like to add they were very reasonably priced You won’t go wrong with this company I highly recommend them

Cannot recommend this company enough! We needed a tree cut down in a very tight space, some trees cut/pruned and some deadwooding in other areas. Michael, Tommy and team were able to take care of us earlier than originally planned. They knocked everything out, plus some extra we added last minute in a very fast and efficient manner! And the cleanup… perfection! Our yard (and our neighbor’s yard) is cleaner than when they showed up. I would absolutely use these guys if you need tree work!

Mike from Art is tree just recently removed my large red oak tree down and did a fantastic job. I wouldn’t call anyone else for the job, Mike and his crew made my yard look better than when they started. This is the second tree related job we’ve used art is tree for. We appreciate the quality work that was done here. Our family is safe now that the tree is gone, no more worrying if a storm will damage our house from the huge tree that used to be here feet away from my daughters window. One day after submitting the signed contract Dan and his crew were out at my house to remove an old maple tree that was starting to hollow out and was infested with mistletoe. This look like a tricky situation since the tree was somewhat tall and spread out and was near several structures like my and my neighbor's fences as well as a couple of sheds and an attached garage. Dan and the crew made short work of the project and remove the tree within half a day with no problems. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Except for the fact that the tree was gone, you could hardly tell anybody was even there. They were fast, professional and efficient. The icing on the cake was that their quote was the lowest of the three contractors that I contacted! Highly recommended.

This place was extremely fast with beginning to end of the process, from estimate to tree removal. It was the best estimate and timeline I received from any company in Hampton Roads. I had a fairly big, 30 ft tall tree, in an awkward spot, hanging over 2 roofs and a fence. They did an amazing job, cleaned up efficiently, didn’t damage any of the surrounding areas either. I couldn’t have been happier with the job and the result. Highly recommend.

Had a huge Pine tree in our backyard and Dan and his team at Art-Is-Tree was quick, professional, and very responsive. Job was done promptly with no damages to the property. Would recommend them for your tree service needs!

Overall, they did fantastic. The tree was in a tight spot that brought up some concerns about potential house damage, but they handled it no problem. Competitive pricing, prompt, quick, polite. I'd use them again for sure.
Now this part I take responsibility for, I misunderstood the scope, a box was checked as "stump grinder". I thought it meant like getting rid of the stump, but it was quite literal. A stump ground up and left there. I've been shoveling this huge pile of mulch into my trash bin every week for the last 2 months, and honestly I would've gladly paid more to fully get rid of it. That's on me, I should've asked some more questions. If I had to offer some constructive criticism, I'd maybe put a word somewhere that says like removal too, checked or unchecked, I don't know. But don't get me wrong, it's not a blemish on them, they did superb and earned 5 stars without question. I look forward to the next interaction because I trust them and will certainly use them for my other trees in the near future. Thank you.
