I have been using Salvation Home Service since they installed a water heater in my house and I am very satisfied with their work. After water heater they did HVAC tune up and installed two vent-free gas logs in my house. They are very professional and friendly people to work with, and are very honest in their assessment and pricing. You won't be disappointed.

Salvation always gets the job done. They were referred to me by a few others who use them, and now I understand why. They're reliable, and always friendly and easy to work with. I appreciate having them to call, whether it's a regular service or a repair.

Carlos was on time in the morning of the installation date, Earnesto also checked-in to ensure if I've any questions/concerns, and both were very professional explaining things during the entire installation process.  Carlos was fast, very efficient and has done an exceptional job from running the water lines, condensate piping, vent-out as well as making slight adjustment/isolating/adding a dedicated regulator to the existing gas line, then checked all connections for any leaks before putting it in service. Salvation Home Service recently installed a new water heater at my home. From start to finish, the service was prompt, courteous, and professional. Carla and Ernesto offered a competitive price for replacing my broken water heater and were able to install the water heater the very next day. I had an excellent experience with Salvation. Over the past two years, and at two different homes, I have had some HVAC issues serviced with mixed results. Sometimes the repair was good, but the cost was outrageous (like the over $200 a pound Richard's charges for R10).

At any rate, Ernesto from salvation came out and looked at my AC unit because it was cycling on and off about every 10 seconds. Seconds. He ran some diagnostics on the unit and explained everything every step of the way. I already knew my heat pump already had a leak, so I was surprised when Ernesto told me that it actually had too much refrigerant in the system. He recaptured some of the refrigerant and got the system working properly. We've had some very hot days since and there have been no issues at all; the air conditioning is running fantastic!

His price to come out is a little higher than what is around, but for example his price for refrigerant is only $80 per pound as opposed to most other places which are pushing $200 or over.

I recently hired Salvation Home Service to replace a broken 50 gallon Rheem gas water heater with a new 75 gallon Bradford White. I found them from the Bradford White website as they are one of the top installers in the DC area. Salvation was great. Very responsive and easy to communicate with. When they arrived, they worked extremely diligently and completed the job within several hours. Our new hot water heater has been working flawlessly. They also had the lowest price out of all of the other estimates I received - some were thousands of dollars more. Trust the five star reviews and hire them!

We had a wonderful experience with Ernesto, Carlos, and the Salvation Home Service family. Our previous service provider noted that the internal coil on our 5 year old (builder grade) air conditioner unit had a leak and the cost estimate to repair it was so high that we decided to look at replacements instead. Ernesto wasn't sure that the problem was with the coil, so his team did another test to be sure. At the end of the day, we trusted Ernesto more than our previous provider and another company from whom we had also gotten an estimate to replace the unit. Ernesto offered us several options including different air conditioning units and replacing both the heating and air conditioning at the same time. We decided to replace only the air conditioning at this time. Ernesto's air conditioning estimate included a more efficient unit for a slightly lower price. He answered all of our many questions and didn't apply high pressure sales tactics. Ernesto and his team worked a very long day to install the system. He discovered a potential defect in the first system and went back to his distributor to get a replacement system. When their only remaining system was dented, he asked us whether or not we were willing to take the dented system for a small discount or if we preferred him to get another system from a different distributor. Ernesto kept us updated all day and even came back the following day to replace the thermostat with a better one. We can't say enough good things about this company and would highly recommend them!

Ernesto installed a Nortiz tankless water heater. Karla and Ernesto were responsive, easy to work with, and did a great job with the install. I will work with Salvation Home Service for future maintenance of the system and other plumbing needs.

The crew at Salvation Heating and AC did a fantastic job installing a tankless water heater in my home. They were extremely patient and responsive during the estimate process when I asked them many follow-up questions after they provided their initial estimate. they answered every single question I had, and at the end of the day they had the best estimate for what my wife and I needed. On the day of the installation, the crew provided updates regularly and confirmed with us any time there was a decision to be made that would significantly alert the project. They even changed the direction of the ventilation pipes to reduce the amount of drywall they needed to cut. After the installation, we noticed that the water pressure in our guest shower was lower than before, so we asked Salvation to come and check it out. They quickly came back to our house and figured out what was causing the drop in pressure for that fixture and addressed the problem. They did all of this less than a week before Thanksgiving when we would be hosting family, and everything worked perfectly while our family was visiting. I can't say enough good things about the work that Salvation did!

Stop looking for another HVAC company. Salvation home Service is the best company in our area. After 2 months of shopping I decided to go with SHS and I'm so happy with my decision. Absolutely reasonable price and amazing service. What they did for me? A to Z 2 zone system: New variable speed pump, new air handler, new 15 kw electric heater and great duct work (exactly the way I ask for). They worked even during the weekend on purpose to keep the project within the promised time frame. Thank you Ernesto and your great team.

I’m so very thankful to have found Salvation!! They are an outstanding and competitively priced company, extremely competent, with a strong work ethic of integrity and professionalism! When my 15+ year old Bradford White water heater stopped working, I wanted to replace it with the same type, so I went to that website and looked for a contractor to do it. The first two companies I contacted gave extremely high estimates with what I believe to be outrageous markup prices for the heater itself (double the cost or more!) and higher labor cost than I expected to pay. When I contacted Salvation Home Service, they responded very quickly and gave me a very reasonable estimate, $1000 and $1500 LESS than the other two I’d gotten already! Not only that, they were even able to come that evening. (I live in Woodbridge….they got traffic coming down here!) I appreciated Karla’s attentive communication. And when Ariel arrived, I was immediately impressed by his professionalism, and knew that I’d called the right company. He got to work right away setting up for the job…put down protective cloths on the floor and stairs, brought in tools from a very clean truck, and began preparing the old water heater for removal. Ernesto soon arrived with the new water heater (in an equally clean and organized truck) and the two of them quite capably and neatly completed the job, and left me with a beautiful shiny new working water heater within a couple hours, and for a fair price! Salvation Home Service replaced my water heater earlier this year.

I bought my own water heater on sale at Home Depot and they were one of the only places I called that would install a customer provided water heater.

Price was reasonable and I am very happy with the work. On time, professional, and left everything clean.

I researched the company on yelp first then I called to discuss pricing for the job needed.

My initial conversation was with Karla who was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in addressing my concerns regarding the work being sought.
