This place is a TOTAL SCAM. They will not give out any information regarding the Manager or Owner. Stopped answering my calls. Tech installed the shelving brackets back upside down and when the shelves did not fit properly, he started to shout at my wife. Tech had no idea how to fix the Fridge, started to break the foam insulation into the vent housing. Did not fix the issue with the fridge not cooling. I came home and fixed the shelving brackets, however the fridge is still not operating properly. Another Company is coming this week to hopefully, fix the problem. I do not know how Lowe's and the Warranty Company (Assurant Claims) hire these Contractor Companies to work on these Appliances without vetting them.

The technician Farzad was very knowledgeable and courteous and explained the problem and repaired it in a timely fashion. He advised me that my Lowes protection plan did not cover this procedure.

Great job. DMV HVAC appliance service staff and the technician were very professional. I got the appointment quickly to get the dish washer repaired. The technician came on time. He was very thorough about his diagnosis and fixed the issue. I am very happy the way DMV HVAC Appliance handled everything. I highly recommend to use there services.

DMV has been by far the most experienced and professional of the vendors we have had in to fix our Bosch dishwasher. Shout out to Star for her scheduling prowess and communications acumen. Truly appreciate all the help.

I have had various service calls with DMV HVAC Appliance Repair and each technician that came were on-time, extremely professional and were very fair in their pricing. I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of my lack of appliance repair knowledge. They were thorough and would explain all the options available for repair. Then they would let met decide whichever option worked best for me and my budget. Highly recommend!

We had a service appointment booked for our GE Warranty. The tech came out and spent less than 5 minutes in our house. The entire time he was on the phone arguing with OTHER CUSTOMERS about past jobs he did that weren't completed properly ("well you need to get a second opinion that's a home warranty issue"). He told me "there's nothing I can do here. It's not normal, but isn't worth my time to fix it" then left. I called DMV APPLIANCES REPAIR LLC and they said "That's so embarrassing, we'll call you with an update ASAP" and as of this no one has contacted me.

Very impressed with the professionalism and reliability of this company. We appreciated the clear communication and arrival-time updates through text messages. Last week, the technician who came to diagnose the problem with our refrigerator and order the necessary part was very thorough and top-notch. Today, Zaki, the technician who came to install the new part, was equally impressive. He was very courteous and highly knowledgeable of our model. He even took time to make sure that other features were working adequately. Thank you, Zaki, for an excellent repair!

I received exceptional service from Star the Schedular. I urgently needed my appliance repaired and although their schedule was completely booked for the week Star went above and beyond to find a way to fit me in . She was professional, understanding and truly committed to helping me get the service I needed in the time frame I requested. I really appreciate her effort.

The worst company ever. I would never ever refer these guys to anyone. My samsung front-load washer was still under protection plan, stop draining water. It took them one month to complete the job, their onsite technicians had very rude attitude and left the repair incomplete. Please be careful with them.

Very bad experience with the scheduling and the Technician. We have a Lowe's Extended Warranty on our fridge which is just over a year old. I scheduled the appointment for Tuesday and this company texted me saying it is scheduled for Friday. Tech arrived and without diagnosis said we have to pay $150. We told the Tech we were going to call Lowe's regarding the warranty, then only he started to diagnose and opened the inside panels. He broke off some Styrofoam insulation and hastily installed the panels back. He got very agitated when my wife asked about the broken insulation which was not removed. Tech started shouting at my wife because he could not install the shelving correctly. He left and informed us that his company would not be returning for any additional work. They stopped answering our calls and we are going to Lowe's to escalate this issue. Worst company to deal with. Star is the Scheduler and Omar the Tech.

Mustafa was able to diagnose the failure and ordered the appropriate parts for repair in a very short time. The service for my washer was covered under the extended service policy

We purchased a GE refrigerator from Lowe’s, and from day one, we noticed icicles forming on the doors and interior panels of both the fridge and freezer. Concerned, we contacted GE, who referred us to their service contractor, DMV HVAC Appliance Service. What followed was one of the most disturbing service experiences we’ve ever encountered.

The company rescheduled our appointment 3 times, and when the technician finally arrived at 6 PM, just minutes before the end of the scheduled 1–6 PM window, he introduced himself as “Omar.” From the outset, he was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Within minutes, he claimed there was no issue with the refrigerator, despite visible icicles and misaligned doors.

We called our niece, who lives in the same building and has experience dealing with service providers. She arrived promptly, but before she could speak with him, the technician abruptly said, “I’m too tired, I’m leaving,” picked up his toolbox, and headed for the door. When she asked why he hadn’t addressed the obvious issues and asked for his name, he gave her a false name “Alex” and an obscene gesture. Later, when we contacted DMV HVAC to report the incident, we were told his real name was “Saeef.” He lied about his identity not once, but twice.

Our niece immediately escalated the matter to GE and requested that no future service be scheduled with DMV HVAC. Thankfully, GE sent a different company, and the contrast was night and day. The new technician quickly identified the missing door stoppers and misalignment, installed the necessary parts, and resolved the issue professionally and respectfully.

As elderly customers, we were deeply shaken by the behavior of the first technician and grateful that our niece was nearby to intervene. She remarked that in all her years of dealing with service companies, she had never encountered such blatant disrespect and disregard for customer safety.

We strongly urge GE to reconsider their partnership with DMV HVAC Appliance Service. No customer, especially vulnerable ones, should be subjected to this kind of treatment.

A technician by the name of Mohammad came out to my rental property to repair a none working dryer. The tech found the heating element needed replacement. He replaced the heating element and it worked fine however, when he took the dryer apart to do the repair there was a lot of dirt inside. He then said in front of my tenant he needed to clean the dirt out because with it being next to the hot heating element it could cause a fire and that would cost an additional $100 for him to do it. As you can see from the picture, I asked can't you simply dump the dirt in a bag since you already have it out. I can't understand why you would put the dirt back inside if it's right there not to mention why I have to pay you $100 for something that will take less than five minutes to do. You guessed it, unless he got paid he refused to simply dump the dirt before putting the machine back together. So because I agree having that much lint next to a heating element is not a good thing I agreed but said you need to send me a invoice for the new work you're doing before I will pay. He agreed. After finishing he called asking me to pay him the $100 again, using my tenant's phone talking business in front of my tenant (which I hate). I asked him for the invoice, he said they would send it after I pay. I said that's not what we agreed to. I knew if I paid him first I would never receive a invoice. He then started yelling at me on the phone in front of my tenant demanding I pay him the $100. Later a lady from "the office" called and I told her the same thing I told him. She sent me a generic invoice stating "dryer maintenance", nothing saying what he actually did or why it was needed as he explained to me. At this point I was on a three-way call with him and the lady and he again was speaking loud but not as loud as he was when he was in front of my tenant. I guess he was trying to be a little professional in front of whoever she was. I again explained to them I need a invoice saying what work he did and why it was needed as it was explained to me. Remember because he said it was a fire hazard is the reason I agreed to have it cleaned out in the first place. The lady seemed like she couldn't write a invoice saying anything other than dryer maintenance. Them refusing to put it in writing left me feeling like I was fooled and it wasn't a fire hazard and they just tricked me into paying $100 for something I wasn't ready to buy. Reading other reviews I see it's a standard practice from this company to try and sale "maintenance" to people after they already been paid to do a warranty claim. I can't speak for anyone else but I would never do business with this company again because under no circumstance should a repair technician every yell at a customer demanding money while in the presence of a tenant which is this situation was a elderly lady at home by herself.

0 stars!! Tech was not helpful and said stove was working properly (which it was not). Had to convince him to order parts to fix a brand new stove. Two weeks later when I had not heard from DMV appliances, said no parts ordered and tech wrote stove was working properly. Fired them and got GE to assign my warranty repair to another company. Do NOT use this company and if you do, don’t get “Star” as your tech, doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Thank you, Mustafa! My dual washer/dryer was leaking. Turns out the guys that installed it from Best Buy had switched the hot and cold water valves, so the hot water flowing into the cold water valve had deteriorated it. Mustafa came and diagnosed the problem, showing me how and from where it was leaking. Once the replacement part came in, he stopped by and replaced it in about a half hour. Before closing up the machine, he showed me how it was now in good working order. I’m so glad to have my machine working again!
