They did an incredible job! From communication all the way to clean up. Very quick to responding, personable, and quick to do the job and clean up. On short notice they were able to come to Newport News Denbigh area and within three hours (I'm sure depending on your situation it may be less or a bit more time) took down a large Oak tree and ground the stump. After tree and stump removal and cleanup the ground was nice and leveled! Due to their professionalism, top notch quality of work, and constant communication I would highly recommend Walt's to anyone in need of tree or stump removal! or Both!

Had Walt's Tree & Stump Removal come out and remove a ton of tree stumps today in Newport News. Even with the threat of bad weather, they were able to get the job done, which we very much appreciate! We had a bunch of small to medium stumps removed. I highly recommend Walt's Tree & Stump Removal! When we remove some big trees in our yard later this year, we will definitely be having them back out!

Walt’s Tree and Stump Removal provided excellent care to my shrubbery. I had a 30 year-old Burford Holly hedge that I had lost control of three years prior, about 20 feet tall. There also were several out of control Verbena about the same age. Walt and his crew were able to thin out and top all of these out of control shrubs, thoughtfully and carefully. they appear much healthier and happier now than prior. I would comfortably recommend their management for similar issues.

Walt is a true professional, came out evaluated my needs and offered a very reasonable price. Arrived shortly after his ETA, took all precautions to protect our property and cleaned up afterwards. Will use him again as the need arises.

Walt and his team did a fantastic job. The price was very fair, and he brought a big crew that removed 9 trees and bushes and ground 11 stumps in half a day! They listened to my special requests to avoid the water and electricity lines. They tidied up very neatly and left us a beautiful yard.

Thanks to hurricane Ian we had a large a part of a Bradford Pare tree land on our house. Walt and the team came out the next morning and within an hour it looked like nothing happened. They did a fantastic job.

Honest, helpful, and competitively priced.

I say this having *not* hired them for their services at this time. The owner, Walt, was responsive, answered all my questions, and offered a fair price (I received quotes from multiple tree services). I got the impression that I was dealing with an honest and knowledgeable business, and I think they’re worth your time to consult. Although a competitor was able to offer comparable work at a somewhat lower price for this particular job, I will still be reaching out to Walt to consider his offer when I have other work that needs to be done.

Excellent service. Walt and his crew arrived as scheduled, made short work of a decent sized cherry tree and a large Althea. They cleaned up all debris and left the site in good order. I will definitely call this firm for future tree service needs. Nice people.

We have been using Walt’s Tree & Stump removal for our upscale rental home for a couple years. This week we had a beautiful but large front yard tree that split right down the center from a storm the night before. We rent this home in Virginia but WE LIVE IN FLORIDA! Walt went right out there THE SAME DAY I CONTACTED HIM. HE ASSESSED THE TREE, HELPED ALERTING MY NEIGHBORS TO MOVE VEHICLES AND REMOVED THE TREE THE NEXT MORNING IN THE RAIN! Walter let me know the minute it was done and sent me photos and video of the condition, progress and finished work. He is professional and efficient. Great quality work, Great owner, affordable, reliable and professional company! We will use Walt’s Tree and stump removal again!

Only company out of 5 to return my call! Showed up and did estimate same day. Next day my tree is gone! Happy HOA! 4 Men and in 30 minutes they were done! Great job, everyone friendly and great customer service. I will hire them again in the future.
