Constraction reviews in Auburn, Washington

Joe is fantastic! He came out to inspect a year-old roof repair and was incredibly thorough. He took detailed photos so I could see the work for myself and provided a genuine recommendation based on years of experience.
I really appreciated his honesty and integrity—he focused on what was actually necessary rather than pushing for extra services. It’s hard to find that kind of transparency these days. Highly recommend asking for Joe! -
Knowledgeable, insightful, came with many visual tool to help me see the top of my roof. Gutters were reasonably priced and they were a one stop shop for all of my concerns. Blake was smart and listened to each and every one of my questions and concerns. I’m excited to get started with them

This review addresses my recent experience with Guardian Roofing, highlighting a significant disconnect between the quality of their work and the professionalism of their customer service and communication. While the final roofing job was of high quality, the process was filled with issues that made the overall experience extremely frustrating and, at times, alarming.
The first issue began when the crew arrived ten days ahead of our scheduled appointment without any prior notice or confirmation. My partner was at home in an online meeting, and the crew began work without checking in. This unannounced arrival was not only disruptive but also demonstrated a complete lack of respect for our personal schedule and property.
The situation was compounded when the crew left our back gate ajar, leading to a serious safety risk. Our dog, a beloved family member, escaped and was missing for two hours. This kind of negligence is unacceptable and goes far beyond a simple inconvenience. Additionally, the work led to some of my outdoor chair cushions being ruined, which I now need to replace. Again, had they not showed up 10 days early this would not have been an issue!
Following these incidents, I made three separate phone calls to speak with a manager, but my calls were not returned. It wasn't until my third attempt that I finally received a call back. This demonstrates a clear breakdown in their customer service protocol and a disregard for client concerns. The company's final offer of a mere $50 discount for all this trouble—from the unannounced arrival to the lost dog—was dismissive and insulting.
The quality of Guardian Roofing's finished work, was decent but see the attached photos of the area they neglected to clean. I cannot in good conscience recommend them based on their poor customer service and communication. The lack of professionalism, disregard for personal property, and the severe safety oversight with the gate were major failures. Potential customers should be aware that the high quality of their roofing work may come with a deeply frustrating and irresponsible service experience. -
We recently had our roof cleaned, treated, and some repairs done by Guardian Roofing. The entire process from booking an estimate to scheduling the technicians to do the work was extremely efficient! Malia, our Project Engineer, was very communicative, responsive and ensured we had all our concerns addressed before the work began. Sandro and Ferdandro, the roof technicians, did an excellent and thorough job from start to finish! We also appreciated how thoroughly they cleaned up all the debris from our house and ground at the completion of their work. We have used Guardian Roofing before and would recommend this company to anybody!

UPDATE: This response from the company is not an apology. Instead of acknowledging the issue, it only highlights the unprofessionalism that occurred.
Was there ever proper training or an update to your sales pitch regarding “decision makers”? Why must there be more than one decision maker present? What happens if the other person is unavailable or incapacitated?
The level of disrespect and lack of professionalism shown was unacceptable. First, we were told there was no technician available, even though a set appointment had already been scheduled. Then suddenly a technician was available once all of your criteria were met.
This kind of inconsistency makes the situation feel dishonest. At this point, we will simply handle the issue ourselves.
Original: I contacted this company for a roof replacement because I thought they had great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.
When I called to schedule an appointment for a technician to come out and inspect my roof, the representative kept insisting that both my wife and I be present. I explained that due to our hectic schedules I am able to make the decision myself. Despite that, she continued asking about my wife’s availability. I told them she is busy every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. They then said they only have appointments after 6 p.m.
I told them I was available on the weekend, so we scheduled the appointment for Saturday at noon. Even then, they continued to push for my wife to be there as well. I told them she might attend if she had time.
On the day of the appointment, around 8 a.m., they called and said the technician had canceled and they can reschedule on Thursday after 6pm so my wife can be there and that there were no other technicians available. I explained that my wife and I had already adjusted our busy schedules to meet with the technician. Suddenly, once they heard my wife would be there, they said there was “now” a technician available to meet with us.
At that point, I canceled the appointment. This kind of unprofessional scheduling and the fact that they first said no technician was available and then suddenly found one made me lose trust in the company.
Because of this experience, I do not recommend this company. If a company starts off by being dishonest, I cannot trust them with something as important as replacing my roof. -
My roof needed a minor repair and Guardian sent Blake out to provide an estimate. He advised me of a simpler solution that ended up saving me a ton of money. He was very transparent and open about the scope and additionally advised me on a future replacement. Without question, he earned my business when that time comes around. Thank you for a quick and efficient response.

Guardian Roofing picked up the phone when I called and I had a Rep at my house the next day. All my options for the roofing job and the financing were explained to me . Pre inspection was done in an hour . Very pleased with the experience and felt no pressure at any time . My roofing specialist was Ron O. And he was clear and knowledgeable about the whole process and was a pleasure to deal with. Very satisfied overall. Thanks.

I had leaks in my roof valleys. Juan Meji showed up on time and explained exactly what he was going to do to repair my roof. Juan did a fantastic job!. It rained the next day with no more leaks! Juan never stopped working even for lunch! If I had a business I would want Juan as my number one guy! He explained again all that he did and more! Thank you Ron Bracali for sending your best worker to my house! Thanks again Juan Mejia and Guardian roofing! Great value and great service! Allen Banks

I had a great experience with Guardian Roofing, largely because of Tyler. He was extremely thorough from start to finish and clearly knew what he was doing. He took the time to walk through the scope of the work in detail, explained the condition of the roof clearly, and answered every question I had without rushing anything.
Tyler was also very knowledgeable when it came to financing. He laid out the different financing options Guardian offers, explained the terms in plain language, and made sure I understood how the numbers worked before moving forward. Any time I had questions about costs, payments, or how things would be structured, he broke it down clearly and patiently.
Overall, the process felt transparent and well-organized. I never felt pressured, and I felt confident in both the work being proposed and the financial side of it. Highly recommend Guardian Roofing, and especially Tyler, if you want a detailed, professional, and straightforward experience. -
A mix of rain and the storm scattered debris of cedar, pine, hemlock, and white oak created the perfect haven for moss to eventually take root and colonize our roof. I had personally maintained the roofs that had protected us in this and previous homes. I was very particular about employing a service that was built on a foundation of quality, trust, and a commitment to past, present, and future achievements.
Guardian Roofing’s Justin Borchers provided a comprehensive inspection followed by a company overview and methodology. He answered every question with transparency, technical depth, and customer-driven principles that genuinely reflected the Guardian brand and values, and that inspired confidence.
I trust Guardian Roofing with excellence. -
PNW storm season hits hard... So I called up Guardian Roofing and talked to Deimar, who was fantastic to work with! Of course, this was during the worst PNW torrential rain storm of the century, and my roof started leaking! After talking with them, they had someone come out asap to check it, and then tarp it until they could get to it (because everyone else's roof was leaking too) .. Then they came out to start the job they found some other problems, rotting wood under shingles that were not put on properly ... so I ended up having more work done... BUT, it is done so well, and in a two day time frame, (once they started the job) from rip off, to new wood, to shingles, and proper roof venting (PLUS they fixed my overhang that birds were getting into), to clean up and haul away of all debris!!!!
I will not be worrying about this roof leaking or anything for many years to come!!!!
Thank you to Deimar for facilitating the job and thanks to the worker, Uriel Rico, who went above and beyond on this job! What a great worker he is, and a pleasant person to deal with.
This was for a larger almost flat roof dormer on top of my house. They added in proper venting on the top ridge and at the bottom, or low end too.
Job well done! -
They handled all insurance. Made things less stressful on me. I was always in the know of what was going on with the work. The people in the office and in the field was always professional and knowledgeable. I hope I don't have to, but I wouldn't hesitate to call them! Thanks guys...and gals!

I recently had a pipe burst at my commercial property this past weekend. Trevor and his team were quickly onsite to start the cleanup process. Multiple levels and rooms were affected but they were able to tackle the job. Luckily I was open for business the next morning with minimal disruption. I’m very glad I signed a pre disaster plan with premiere water removal, they saved my business!

Just has Premier Water Removal help remove water from our crawl space. The team was quick to respond to the call and respectful of the home and property. The team even reduced the bill from what was originally quoted since they finished early. Want to thank Elijah, Alejandro, Will, and Tammy in the office for helping out with the project and .

Had a pipe leak and premier came out right away. Kyle who is the project manager gave a lot of information and made sure I understood everything. The whole process was very professional. Highly recommended.

We had as good of an experience as you can have with Premier Water Removal. Obviously, we didn't want to have to use them, but I would highly recommend them. They were all very informative, professional and helpful. Santos and T.J. were absolutely awesome with their communication and knowledge. Hopefully I never need to use you again, but if I do, you'll be the ones I call. Thanks!

I was referred by a friend for the water mitigation from this company. Indeed, their professionals were super impressive and they performed water mitigation with high quality and in a timely manner. I will definitely refer Premier Water Removal to anybody with the same issues!

I had called around to different companies asking for a quote to get my ceiling fixed. Premiere water removal was the first company that actually answered the phone and called back to schedule for them to come give me a quote. I specifically said there was a leak and I needed to get it fixed and wanted them to come out and give me a quote. They came out and took a sample of the wall to check it for asbestos (even though my condos were built after the year asbestos was band). They then returned to open up my ceiling and dry it out. I continued to ask them to give me a quote because the above owners home owner insurance were cutting me the check. Their response was “it depends on how much work has to be done, we usually send the insurance the bill when everything is done.” I told them the insurance had already came out and took a look and cut me a check for me to pay whatever company I decide to go with, so I need to make sure the cost is not more than what they gave me and if so I need to send them an invoice. Never once did they provide me with a quote and then when they were coming back to “finish the job” that’s when I was told they were just a mitigation company and they would not be repairing my ceiling that they opened up. I spoke with 3 different employees from their office during this entire time and nobody would give me a quote after the sample they took or when they came to open up my ceiling. I now know why, they were never fixing it. I didn’t need a mitigation company, my HOA provides that. I specifically said I need my wall opened up and fixed NOT just dried out. Long story short they told me they were just a mitigation company and came to dry out the wall only the day they were coming to pick up their equipment. The equipment was picked up, they left my ceiling opened up and I am still looking for a company to come out and close it up.

10/31 update: after posting the below, I received a call from Andrew who wanted to know more about my situation. He was very helpful and accommodated my estimate pricing with a refund check. He explained he definitely doesn't want the below happening at Premier and would talk to his employees. I appreciate his prompt reply and help!
10/30: This company was recommended to me by my plumber (they get a referral fee) and showed up the same day I called for an estimate. I was given a verbal estimate ($1300-1500) and told I should just call to book the service. When I called to book service, the woman on the phone re-confirmed my estimate and was able to get people out to my house the pretty quickly. I asked for pictures to be taken after the job was complete as I wouldn't be home when they were there to repair. Good so far!
Day of repair comes and goes, don't hear anything. So, I call to ask about payment and ask for the pictures. I'm told they are behind in billing and someone will reach out to me. Someone sends me pictures but they are from the initial inspection, not after the job is complete. I tell them this but never receive a reply.
Weeks go by before I receive a call asking about payment. The lady on the phone just asks for my credit card number. I have to ask what the final payment amount is and she tells me it is more than one thousand above the estimate. I tell her my estimate cost and she says she will look into it since the difference is so much.
Another few weeks go by, I don't hear anything and then I get an email with the bill requesting payment. I call and ask what she found out and she said there is no estimate on file (even though they sent me the pictures from the inspection...) and that the final bill is the price. However, she'll take $250 off. I ask how the estimate can be so different than the final price and she gives me a generic explanation.
The whole point of an estimate is to get a ballpark figure of what to expect. I know things come up, etc. but this was way off. Maybe the estimator needs to be retrained, maybe they need to keep better records in the office. I struggle with the discrepancy and how things were handled, hence the lack of stars. Definitely not happy with how it all played out... -
This company worked for me in September 2018. Promises were made for prompt removal of damaged materials.. actually took a week to begin removal of damaged dry wall, insulation, flooring, cabinets. Overall, I was dissatisfied with organization and communication. Different employees were sent to my home, I had to reorient staff each time. Workers would show up late in the day (330 or 4pm) and working later causing disruption to family (without giving notice of this). Workers actually showed up not knowing what they were supposed 'DEMO'. I would not use them again, nor recommend them to anyone else.

We have had a very bad experience with the billing team of Premier water removal. They did do a follow-up job in our house after the original water mitigation issue for which they made up an invoice with 3/5 incorrect items increasing the actual scope of work they had done and sent it to our insurance without even informing us. Luckily our insurance company send the check to us instead of paying them directly and that is when we got to know and questioned them about the charges in the invoice.
Instead of fixing the incorrect charges in the invoice, they demanded us that we pay them what was quoted in the original invoice since the insurance company sent us the check.
However we were very persistent that they correct the invoice. This time again instead of correcting the invoice, they came up with an "under the table" offer that we can pay couple of hundred dollars less than the amount in the first invoice.
we did not take up this offer and insisted that they correct the charges in the first invoice. The third time around, they completely removed all the line items in the invoice and changed the billing into hourly basis and some how brought it up to the magic figure that was in the original invoice.
They also threatened that they send it to collections when all we were asking them is to remove the incorrect changes in the invoice and bill us only for the work actually done.
With all this experience with their billing team, I would strongly recommend anyone to stay away from them.
