Ron, the owner and operator of American Rooter Sewer & Drain Service, is THE person to call if you have a drain/sewer line issue. After realizing we had a sewer main backup, I called American Rooter early in the morning and spoke to Ron personally. He was able to immediately come to my home thanks to another job on the eastside that day. He used advanced tools to clear the drain, diagnose problem areas, and clearly explained what needed to be done. He has the expertise and the right equipment for any serious drain problem. I highly recommend you skip any too-good-to-be-true offers and call Ron at American Rooter if you have drain issues. His pricing was reasonable given the quality of the work and the exceptional customer service.

Highly recommended! Ron helped me with hydro jetting for the underground gutter pipes. He visited three times in total, always arrived on time, was very easy to work with, and was honest in his assessment and pricing. He was professional in everything he did, clearly explaining what he found inside the pipe—whether it was pressed, a 90-degree elbow, white PVC, or black corrugated. He also showed me how the entire underground gutter pipe system was laid out and where the test cap was located. After completing the work, he cleared two clogged pipes—one full of roots and another packed with earth and rocks—and provided a solution for a third pipe that appeared to be broken inside. His kindness and warm heart also impressed me. I would definitely use his company again in the future.

We were so happy with the service! I called at 6 p.m. on a Sunday. Ron was here around 6:30 p.m. and was done by 8 p.m. He explained all that he was doing, and helped us understand what and where the problem was -- roots in a pipe causing the backup. He sent us a video of the pipe so we could see where the problem was and took us outside to show us where the pipe is underground. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. Sink was not draining. Ron identified and resolved a clog some 40 feet into our pipes. Work was clean and efficient. Would do business again.

I had a kitchen sink that would not drain and took its time. It wasn't an emergency but I knew I needed to get this fix or I wouldn't be able to run my dishwasher. I know...I abused the drain so it was a matter of time. After three attempts, I contacted Ron. The first plumber didn't have the experience or tools and could not resolve it. The second plumber which I have used in the past was not available. The third plumber stood me up for a five hour window from 1-6pm. They called me at 22 minutes after the the timeframe...really. I didn't respond. I called Ron at 6:01pm and Ron answered my call. Quick synopsis of the problem he said he can be at my place at 11am next day. He was true to his word...actually came earlier. I can already tell after talking to him on the phone and educating about what how to keep a drain cleared so I don't have to call him, he was the one for the miracle. He was able to fix the problem and more importantly has the right equipment. So if you are contemplating like me, who to call, put his number in your contact list for Emergency Drain Issues and call him. That is my honest feedback. He will tell it like it is and he is using and pulling on all his experiences to get to a good outcome for you. I am spreading the word!

Highly recommend! Ron was incredibly responsive, competent, pleasant, reliable and affordable. He was the only one who could come out to the boonies on a holiday to deal with a septic backup, and then returned the following week to install a new tank. Then we had a problem at our own place in the city, and he came promptly and cleared the drains quickly. Will call him next time and all the times.
