Identified major rot issue after replacing my roof. Roofing company wouldn’t do the repairs necessary so hired F&M Construction to remove cedar siding and rip out and replace all rot in framing along with miscellaneous rot throughout the exterior. Team did a great job at restoring our house. They also followed up several months later after all the heavy rain and snow storms to make sure no problems with their work. Have asked them for quotes on some other projects as well that we are considering. Thanks F&M.

They have provided very professional services, excellent quality, and reasonable price!
Owner Mario was very knowledgeable in his field. At the beginning, he patiently explained how the project would be done and reasons for doing so. Afterwards, he closely managed the project process – its quality and progress. At the end, he and I did a thoroughly walkthrough, identified some remaining problems. The next day, he sent his crew to fix all of them and made me satisfied fully.
Jorge was very responsive and did a great work in project coordination - scheduling, accounting, and communication.
The whole crew worked very hard to get the work done in a fast, effective, and clean way before the arrival of heavy raining season. The company even offers second walkthrough six months after the completion of the project to quarantine job quality.
I have been really impressed by this company’s work ethic and craftmanship. and strongly recommend it.

Pros: F&M Construction completed a garage renovation for us and we are very happy with the results. They were professional, hard-working, and responsive to requests during the project. They also followed-up afterward to ensure we were completely satisfied.
Cons: Getting an initial estimate for the project took much longer than it should have, but I'm glad we were patient with them in the end. Once we had the estimate, things moved quickly which was nice.

Mario and his team did an amazing job on our basement remodel. From start to finish, the team performed quality work, stuck to their budget, and finished ahead of schedule. They checked in regularly to make sure we were happy, and when unexpected issues came up (as they do working in old houses), they were quick to work with us to figure out solutions. Overall, we could not be more happy with the finished product.

He was a very rude in person, I requested for a couple of changes to the remodel. I didn't know what he was thinking he took an extra 3 weeks to do those changes. very untimely and rude to family members using profanity.

They have remodeled one bathroom and build another bathroom in our house. They are very professional. They have done a great job overall. They finished their project on time as promised. They also charged us the amount that was proposed on their bid. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We’ve completed over $200,000 worth of projects with F&M, including a bathroom remodel, a laundry room upgrade, a large back deck project with a roof extension, skylights, and patio, a pocket door installation, hardwood flooring across our entire downstairs, and several painting projects. Overall, F&M is a good company with excellent craftsmanship, and we fully intend to work with them again.

They also stand by their work; for example, they returned a year later to adjust a dryer vent that needed attention. Their care for your home during projects is exceptional. They are meticulous about protecting carpets and sealing off rooms to minimize dust. They also pay great attention to detail—when a wall requires work, they repaint the entire wall to ensure a seamless finish.

The main areas where F&M could improve are in administration and communication. There has been significant turnover in their office staff, which has occasionally led to inconsistent processes. The estimation process, in particular, can be inconsistent—at times, it is smooth and efficient, but other times it takes longer than anticipated, with some missed timelines for providing quotes. That said, once the work is scheduled, their execution is always quick and highly professional, which we greatly appreciate.

F&M’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction makes them a company we trust for our projects. While there is room for improvement in their administrative processes, their craftsmanship and dedication to standing by their work more than make up for it.
