Constraction reviews in Bothell, Washington

Charles and Guy were fantastic to work with!

We had an outstanding experience with this company. Great communication updates and follow through afterwards.
We would very highly recommend this company for your next project.

Charles and team did a great job on our house. They finished demo on a wall faster than expected, and even credited me back money towards the invoice.

Charles was easy to work with on our deck project, gave great advice and was open and transparent throughout the process. I would highly recommend 132nd Constructs and would not hesitate to use them again.

They did a great job with a couple small upgrades on our house. Communication was good, craftsmanship was excellent, and we're able to fit us in between a few larger projects they had going on. We'd definitely use them again in the future!

We had a great experience with Charles Thompson and his crew. They were professional, punctual and did a beautiful job on our house. I have recommended him to all my friends who are remodeling their houses.

Charles was the GC for a fairly large renovation we did during the fall of 2020 and we hired him again in the spring of 2022 to remodel one additional bathroom and install a gazebo on our back porch.

The first project involved repiping the majority of our almost 3,000 sq ft home, raising a sunken living room floor, installing LVP and molding to the main floor, updating 1 powder room, updating our fireplace with custom mantel, and completely renovating our master bath and kitchen!

Specifically in bathrooms, he has: built a custom, tiled shower, installed a tub with tiled surround, installed several toilets, fans, lights, mirrors, shelves, and vanities, ran new electricity for a freestanding tub, leveled floors and installed tile flooring.

Charles was very involved in the initial planning which was very helpful in avoiding any mistakes or delays. His style is to give a very detailed, itemized quote which I liked. This made sure we were on the same page and didn't leave me guessing what was included in the scope of work. His guys showed up, every day, on time and were always very kind, and considerate. They did their best to clean up at the end of each day. I always felt safe having them around my young daughter, coming and going etc. Our projects were both completed on time. We had a couple of unexpected issues arise but he and his partner, Guy, were able to find creative solutions that didn't add too much to our costs. We had a few random items that came up after completion and he was prompt to address them all.
I for sure recommend him and will use him again if the need arises. I feel I can trust him to do a project professionally and I know he stands behind his work.

Outstanding remodel of our master bath. Charles was very helpful and responsive in planning and execution. His team and selected subs took great care of our home.
They did beautiful work including plumbing, wiring, tiling, drywall, and painting.

Trustworthy, prompt and friendly general contractor.

I hired 132nd Constructs LLC to repair a Kitchen sink that came off. Despite being busy with other projects, Charles accommodated my urgent need and sent professionals to fix my sink. While doing so, they also identified the need to replace the faucet and the breakers.

I am very happy with the results. Highly recommended general contractor.

I was first introduced to 132nd Constructs when they were selected to repair extensive water damages in my church. Their bid proposal was clear, detailed, and very competitively priced. An Interview with Charles during a construction walk-through provided us with solid assurances that they would not only do quality work, but do so in a way that would allow our church community life to continue during the construction phases. Charles also helped secure an increased insurance settlement by providing the professional expertise necessary to articulate the true magnitude of our loss. The project team and subcontractors assigned were top-notch, and demonstrated sensitivity to our on-going church services and schedules. The end result that included some building upgrades was truly beautiful. Based upon my experience with 132nd Constructs on this job, I also hired them to do some home repairs that were related to water damage to exterior elements. My experience in this project was also very positive. In summary, I was very happy with my two experiences with 132nd Constructs.

Charles and his crew are responsive and knowledgeable. You can bounce basic design ideas off Charles. While construction rates have gotten expensive, the good thing with Charles is pricing is transparent and upfront so you can see if it fits your budget. Charles tries to find custom solutions for your needs. Overall the crew is trustworthy and do what they say they can do. I would recommend Charles to people looking for quality work done with some standards and those who hate wasteful work.

Company and team remodeled our kitchen from 1961. Very professional, cleaned space daily and stayed on schedule. Absolutely love it!

Charles and his team at 132nd Constructs did a major renovation for us. The short list includes - new windows throughout the home (including three in new locations), extending our kitchen into our formal dining room, full kitchen renovation, fireplace renovation, new flooring throughout the main floor and up the stairs, new stair railing, created a den out of our formal living room and inclosing the vaulted ceiling to create a storage room above, half bath remodel, new baseboards, and paint throughout the home!

We decided to move out for the three months of renovation, which helped the massive project go quickly, but also serves as a testament to our trust in the team. Erik and Sunny were the main guys here everyday, and then additional people for the more specialized projects. We had good communication with the entire team and fully trusted them in the home. They did communicate when we had decisions (floor stain, light fixture height, etc) and we would schedule time to meet at the house and make the call. Once we moved back Charles was super receptive to any small details we wanted addressed, though considering the scale of the project there were far fewer than you'd anticipate.

We had very few unexpected issues. Charles did a lot of work pre presenting the bid so all the estimates were pretty accurate.

I really appreciated that Charles had enough experience to point out potential considerations in my design plans. He was never forceful, but certainly knew how layout choices would impact the flow of a kitchen or whatnot.

We plan to use them again and would highly recommend!

After hearing many horror stories of working with general contractors, we were a bit nervous entering into a period of our own home renovations of finishing in our basement and fixing some DIY work the previous owner of our house did in the den. Charles and his team at 132nd Constructs quickly put all of our worries to rest and from start to finish have been an absolute dream to work with. From our initial phone call to go over the ideas we had for our home to the final touch ups happening, they were great to work with. Our project happened on time, at a fair cost, with excellent detail, and clear, open communication all along the way. Each person that stepped into our house from Charles's team were wonderful and did top notch work. Even when we had some flooding after a heavy rainstorm, his team was helping in ways that were way beyond the duties of their job. We will happily recommend the 132nd Constructs team to anyone we know that needs work done on their house and will be coming to them first for any home renovation projects we want completed in the future.

Charles and his team are way above the rest. They expertly guided us through a bathroom remodel and flooring replacement. Working long hours many times day after day, the team completed the project early. Charles said that the job isn't done until the client is happy. My wife and I certainly fit into that category.

We hired 132nd Constructs for a long list of things we needed help with at our house. Charles and his team made it easy to get everything completed and were very timely, open with communication, and detail oriented when working through every item. We needed bathroom fans installed, new electrical wiring, toilet installation, wallpapering, and much more. Our needs ran the gamut and they were able to support everything with ease. I highly recommend working with this company for any home improvement needs.

We had Charles’ team update windows and they were extremely helpful in the siding updates we needed to modernize and clean up the little things you find in a remodel. Everyone was prompt, showing up when they said they would, prioritized our job, kept clean jobsites and cleaned up each day before they left, and most importantly were very skilled craftsmen making sure we were happy with the results. Would definitely hire again for any job.

Charles is super organized, and our communication was always good. He listened to our wants and needs, made great professional recommendations, and ultimately gave us enough information so we could decide, rather than push his opinions on us. He takes care to build trust with you and takes pride in his work. All his crew members were on time, friendly, courteous, and good at their jobs. On the first day of our project, we discovered a surprise inside our walls during the demo. Charles carefully examined the situation and talked through all the options with us, and took care of the change order -- and everything happened exactly like he explained from there. Even though it was unexpected, the way he handled it made me a happy customer in the end. We recommend him and his crew for any project.

Charles, Robert, Erik, and the rest of the crew at 132nd Constructs did a full kitchen remodel for me at my home in Bothell. The estimate was detailed and explained to me. Once I accepted the bid, a schedule was created and guided the project. Communication was excellent. Their team was large for a remodel company, but all the tradesmen were professional, and always respected my home, and my time. We worked through a couple of small issues, but they were easy to deal with. Job was completed timely, by men who took pride in their work. The remodel felt like a good value to me. I absolutely love the new kitchen.

We worked with Charles and 132nd for our home project. The completed work came out beautiful and they have greater attention to detail. The communication and overall experience working with this company is 5 star. Would definitely recommend and use them again for future projects.

After a faulty dishwasher caused our entire kitchen and living room to flood, we were given Charles’ name as someone to call. Best decision ever. Anyone who has had the misfortune to deal with a forced kitchen remodel and insurance claim knows what a nightmare it can be. Charles was incredibly patient and helpful as we navigated our construction and install timeline. Once we could start our project, everything came in to place efficiently and with the highest quality of workmanship and communication. We felt comfortable and well informed with all the
different people that came through our home. Everyone was friendly and respectful. My kids looked forward to saying hi to Sonny, Eric and Gabe after school, and seeing what progress had been made. Jason, the electrician, went out of his way to squeeze us in when our super- delayed light fixtures finally arrived so we could finally get the finishing touches. I can’t say enough good things about Charles and his team. Highly recommend.
