Keifer absolutely came through. I had an issue trying to replace an outlet box. Relatively small job for an electrician but he was able to squeeze me in. Since he was also mentoring a new hire, he took his time and taught us as much as possible. He even showed me some tips on a different outlet so I wouldn't have similar problems in the future. Went way above and beyond.

We hired Ohana electric to replace our electrical panel in Seattle. We found out after hiring Ohana that they had never replaced an electrical panel in Seattle before and so there was a bit of a learning process of how the permitting process goes here. Keifer was persistent and did a great job sticking on it and getting the panel replacement done. He and his assistant worked diligently to get our entire panel installed and inspected in one day which was awesome! We really appreciated their hardwork. A couple hiccups to note: they ran out of caulk and so we were left with an unsealed penetration into the house (not too big of a deal considering we’re working on a few other exterior projects right now), one of the circuits was never connected inside the box and so after I noticed that they came out the next day to fix the mistake free of charge, and finally they installed a different panel than they had put in their proposal (not a big deal to the average home owner I’m sure but since I do most of my own electrical work on our house I was disappointed by that).

I lined up 4 estimates to get a feel for the price of the job I needed (hardwiring 220v 30amp line to my barrel sauna) and the work involved. I really appreciated Ohana’s availability and follow through. They had quick availability and came out right when they said they would and gave a competitive quote. They also called me after to check up on me after the quote was given. 5/5 for follow through. 1 company never called me back and another cancelled during the hour of our appointment for them to inspect and give an estimate. The reason I did not go with them is my own doing. I was out of town so I had them speak with my parents who were home at the time. The other company I chose to go with I was able to meet directly as I was home for the estimate. Thank you Ohana for your professionalism!! I

Keifer was Wonderful from start to finish. Helped troubleshoot an interesting dining light situation to help make our light function. He also took out our relic bathroom fan and replaced with a new fan. 5***** review and would definitely recommend him to anyone

Keifer and his apprentice were able to give me a quote on the spot for some garage lighting and electrical outlet work. That was after answering my call on the first ring and arranging to come out for a quote same day. The work was done within the week. Absolutely done with an eye toward safety and quality. Made some great recommendations for lighting. Work done early. I would absolutely use him again. He’s professional, friendly and a top notch electrician.

Keifer did fantastic work installing a generator interlock on my main house panel. He had great communication throughout the project and his rates were extremely fair. Will work with him on future projects.

Keifer did a great job! We had our panel upgraded and an electric charger installed. He communicated with PUD to have our power turned off and back on. Everything works great now. Highly recommended!

Update: Keifer called us back, apologized for the unforeseen circumstances, and offered to fix our drywall right away. As customers, we felt cared about and would hire this company again in the future due to their communication, transparency, and care. We hired Ohana Electric to install two new circuits: one for our patio, the other for our bathroom. Owner Keifer was responsive, providing a same-day estimate and easy scheduling. He even offered to coordinate with the power company to secure our electrical box.

On the day the work was scheduled, Keifer came with one of his employees and the employee was in charge of most the work done at our place while Keifer would leave and then come back to check his work. It is totally understandable as a company needs to maximize their time and workload to make profits and many other contractors we’ve worked with for different home renovation projects did the same thing.

During installation, the employee mistakenly drilled a hole through our garage drywall, penetrating the other, separate side of our crawl space that couldn’t be sealed and currently had mold issues. The employee's "fix" – a drywall bit and flashing tape – was inadequate. While he attempted to fix it, the “fix” wouldn’t be nearly as good or effective as how it was before, especially we just had our garage renovated last year. When we mentioned this to Keifer, he said the employee was used to doing things his own way, meaning not the way Keifer himself would do it. Keifer offered to come back to spray foam in the hole if we wanted. However, while spraying foam may prevent the mold issues, we’d still like the drywall to be fixed to be how it was and that option did not come up.

Second, when Keifer came to give us an estimate, we were not informed that there would need to be about a 3x6 hole cut on the drywall in order to get the wire connected to the bathroom outlet from the crawl space. While we completely understand that drilling a hole in the drywall is needed to get electrical work done. We were not informed of that during the estimate appointment with Keifer and were told by the employee that it was not an option to do it via the attic because it was more difficult and drilling a hole on the drywall to connect the wire from the crawl space was what he was told to do. Again, we also completely understand that if that was the most time-saving, cost-effective, or even the best possibility the company could offer to complete the work we needed, but we wish this was communicated to us clearly upfront that they would not enter the attic at all even if it could possibly cause less damage to the drywall.

We understand that some drywall damage is inevitable during electrical work, especially in older homes. However, we wish we had been fully informed of the potential extent of this damage and that wiring through the attic was not an option. We also believe Keifer should have addressed the accidental garage hole damage, either by offering to repair it or acknowledging, during the estimate appointment, that he would not be responsible for such unforeseen issues.

Despite these concerns, we appreciate Ohana Electric's punctuality and the completion of the electrical work. We are now able to use our hairdryer without tripping the circuit!

We had a power surge that blew our main electrical panel after dinner on a Friday evening. Keifer was there within half an hour, got the power back on, discussed plans to improve our setup, and came back the next week to do the work. He and his assistant were efficient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Keifer was super responsive and was able to provide emergency service to repair our meter box within a couple hours of being contacted. The soonest anyone else could come was 2 days and that would have meant 2 days without power during the coldest winter days.

He took care of the repair and promptly handled the L&I permitting that PSE required to re-energize our house.

Pronto Energy Solutions was amazing. We wanted recessed lighting in our living room and they did a fantastic job. They assessed the project and discusses various options and layouts for the lights and came back with an affordable quote. On the day of the job, they were on time, professional and personable. They cleaned up the fallen debris from the ceiling and the new lights made our living room look SO much better! A great return for the cost of the installation. Thank you!

To begin with, I contacted three electrical only (not companies that do HVAC, plumbing, or some other combination) companies that service the Lynnwood, WA area where I live. I did so to attempt an apples to apples comparison for the work I wished to have done.

All three companies provided what I would consider competitive bids. Two companies did a free on-site walkthrough as to what issues I had and what work to perform. The third company did their estimate over the phone and was able to ascertain the basics of what I wanted.

Of the three companies, I choose Ohana Electric based on other online reviews, what was competitive pricing (lowest of the three), and the overall responsiveness of the owner Keifer to my questions/additional work requested after the initial bid.

I felt Keifer during the on-site estimate process was confident in answering my questions, presenting me various options with why I would go that route, and I just got a good feeling he would ensure things were going to be done properly. He did so in a way not to push anything on me as I would need to consult with my better half to the degree of work we wished to do. Due to the above, I even cancelled my fourth scheduled estimate and proceeded to concur with the estimate provided by Ohana.

As for the work performed, I'm very pleased with the work performed. Replacement of the original 1963 original electric panel and numerous other electrical tasks that were needed. Especially with the new pendant light over our kitchen island. Looks fantastic.

The two young men that were assigned to the job are great assets to the company. They communicated well about the need to reschedule the initial start date due to the utility company cancelling their appearance to shut off the power to the meter. Their team communicated their arrival time and were on site as stated. They ensured we were pleased with the work. We needed to make slight adjustments and had small concerns during the work and they were able to get things done to our satisfaction.

In closing, while I am sure the other electrical companies I received estimates from are great outfits, due to all above stated, I’m glad I selected your company to do the work. I will certainly keep you guys in mind for any future projects.

Our outlet for our washing machine failed on Friday night with a full load of clothes in it. I called Ohana Electric, and they were able to get someone out on an emergency call within an hour! I was so grateful, and Juan and Kiefer were so incredibly helpful, kind and understanding. The fix was taken care of very quickly and we are able to wash our clothes again. We are so grateful and look forward to calling Ohana again with any electrical needs. :)

Just wrapped up a job with Keifer and O’hana Electric and couldn’t be more happier! He ran a 50ft trenched cable/pipe to a sub-panel in my shed in the backyard, that I’m converting to a home office. After getting many estimates, Keifer’s came in at the best price, value and more importantly, flexibility. For the same price as other more barebone quotes I got, he included a separate low voltage wiring pipe so I could run internet to the shed, included wiring a DIY heat pump I was installing, handled permits/inspection scheduling and any fixes, and didn’t make a fuss about having to dig a trench to shed as other estimates had. He really offered a great package and thought of all the details. Throughout he was easy to work with, did a fast and convenient Facetime estimate which was accurate, and was really responsive both over e-mail and text. Would highly recommend him for any of your electrical needs. I’ll be sure to hire him again in the future for any other electrical needs!

We contacted Ohana Electric because of serious problems with old breakers in our ancient electrical panel. They responded immediately and two days later all was well with a new panel and new breakers. First class service from this company — highly rcommended!

I called to have one light installed over my dining room. Low ceiling so no ladder needed. It took maybe a half hour and I even helped him with install. I’ve helped my husband hang lights in three previous homes so pretty easy.
Just make sure you ask the price because this guy who I believe was owner or boss charged me over $400.00!! My light didn’t cost that much!! He complained how far he had to drive to hang a medium size light. I was definitely ripped off!! I will never recommend them. Beware of cost before you hire!!

From assessment for scope to pricing and installation the personnel was highly professional and courteous. The work involved installation of home line interlock kit with 50A breaker & 50A NEMA 3R receptacle including permit. I will recommend Ohana Electric for electrical services.
