We have an older home, built in 1961, and virtually all of the plugins and switches were original equipment. This has led to all manner of electrical problems as well as fire hazards, so we needed to have every plug and switch throughout the house replaced with modern equivalents. Keifer, the owner of Ohana Electric, came out and did an extremely professional inspection and gave us an honest evaluation and estimate. He and his crew did a masterful job of installing and testing to make certain that everything was done properly. All of them were both personable and professional at all times and we were extremely happy with both their work and clean up. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience with Mogovolt to do a knob and tube rewire in our house. Marcel was helpful, funny, and did great work, and the electrical passed inspection and the inspector noted that it was all done very well.

Marcel also took care to cut as few holes in our walls as possible, and the total price came in very close to the quote. It took just a little longer than expected, but there were a few unexpected items along the way. Highly recommend Mogovolt and fully intend to use them again for any future electrical work.

We hired MOGOVOLT to upgrade the electrical panel in our house for a heat pump, induction stove, and electric car. They also did some other odds and ends electrical work and got things up to code. We couldn't be more happy with them. They communicated very clearly and consistently (which is frustratingly rare!), were very professional in all their interactions, worked hard and got everything done in one day, and worked us into their schedule quickly. I needed to rewire an old house with plaster walls and MOGOVOLT gave the best quote amongst 8 quotes we received. The electricians Daniel and Ben are professional, courteous, flexible and excellent at communication. I’m happy with their work and will work with them again if I have another electrical project.

- very familar with code and knows what to fix, workers are very skilled and nothing is damaged, inspection are handled by them and pass on first try, which proves their quality
- identify existing issues from the old house and fix for us, really appreciate their effort
- pricing is transparent, itemized and competive out of the quotes we get for the same amount of work
- easy to communicate, listen to my requests and needs and ensure I'm happy with the result.

cons (disclaimer: not critism, just for completenss)
- still expensive on effective per-hour-labor rate, but I think you will pay similar or more with other licensed electrician for sure and maybe get more hassle to deal with and get worse result
- they are very popular, need to do appointment beforehand

MOGOVOLT responded very quickly to identify the source of months of power outages reported by our TING monitor as a very rusted and corroded electrical panel caused by a leaking pipe above it. They replaced the panel a few days later in a very complicated operation. Everyone who worked here was amazingly professional and pleasant to deal with. We’re very happy with their work and TING reports no issues.

Communicating and scheduling—along with confirming appointments and reporting crew members was seamless —thanks to a fantastic app they use. The crew: Adrian and Tim were not only incredibly skilled and efficient (knob and tube conversion, with new panel, new street hookup in just under 4 days!) they were also very kind and thoughtful: looking after my kitties to make sure they did not escape, doing a complete clean every day before leaving and trying to get my bedroom done first so we had less disruption. They were patient in explaining how to select lights and understanding when I made a mistake. Just a wonderful experience. Important to note - the cost of the job was incredibly reasonable - you will definitely get your money’s worth and enjoy working with this great group of people!!
