Before hiring this company GET MULTIPLE QUOTES! They came in at 4 times the cost of the next quote and had a huge attitude when I was surprised that their quote was so high.

Edited to respond to owner: Mogovolt did no clarifying or working with me when I voiced that $2,000 to move 2 outlets seemed unreasonable. In fact, the employee got combative and claimed "this is what it takes to get the job done, bud". The only time Mogovolt tried to walk me through other options to accomplish the job without paying an obscene amount was after my negative review went up. Mogovolt then proceeded to contact my building to tell them that I would be unable to find anyone to do the work for less. Their competitor not only completed the job beautifully, we're much kinder, and could not believe the amount Mogovolt was attempting to charge. The core of my review is this "get multiple quotes" and "I would never hire Mogovolt again". These are understandable statements that do not require the pushback that Mogovolt uses. I am beginning to majorly doubt the authenticity of their positive reviews.

We were in the process of selling our home and had a few light switches that were suspect or bulbs not working properly. Max came by, fixed any pending issues and did it with a great attitude and commitment to his work product. I highly recommend Mogovolt and Max in particular.

We hired Mogovolt to replace all knob and tube wiring in our 100 year old home in Queen Anne and update all outlets and switches with new brass hardware. Additionally, we upgraded our overhead service to 200 amps and installed a new larger panel and hardwired all smoke and CO detectors.

I got quotes from a number of local companies, and while all were close in their pricing, Mogovolt’s came in a bit lower, with a number of very strong referrals from neighbors, as well as Homeowner’s Club.

This project ended up being a more complicated project than we anticipated, because old houses have secrets- ours happened to have a lot more active knob and tube than we had originally anticipated when we bought the house. The Mogovolt team from start to finish was incredibly detailed in their estimates, explanations and ideas for updating our wiring with not just solutions that we liked, but were well-thought through, up to code aligned with new building standards. Communication was outstanding- even when I didn’t understand something they took the time to explain different decisions and possible solutions.

The team was incredibly polite, tidy and thoughtful in our home. Adi and Ben were always very communicative and gave us great morning and end of day updates- additionally they were happy to talk through solutions and explain, and reexplain more than once a number of tricky decisions we had to think through and understand. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any electrical work big or small. This was a huge job and put so much effort in from the beginning to end, I really can’t recommend them enough.

I had a great experience with Mogovolt. I saw one of their vans out doing a project for my neighbor so I gave them a call. The estimate was fast, the work was scheduled without any complexity, and the team showed up right on time.

The work was done really well, very tidy, very complete. I had several aspects to the overall project — new panel, hot tub circuit, more circuits for water heater and dryer — and I’m really happy with it. They did a very professional job, I asked for a modification to run some wires through joists and it was not a problem. They were friendly and professional, and had a good plan to get the work done and minimize the electricity being off.

The inspector said they did a very good job and he had seen their work before so wasn’t surprised. It looked good, and they corrected something with the grounding too. I would absolutely recommend Mogovolt and will call them again for my next project!

We had all the knob and tube replaced and power brought to an outside wall for a heat pump. This is the second time we have hired MOGOVOLT and again they did a fantastic job. They were very smart about cutting into the wall to run the new wires and greatly surpassed my expectations. Each night before they left they did a stellar job cleaning up. We got a few quotes for this job and they came in very reasonable, especially over the larger cooperate companies. 10/10 would recommend.

Expedited Electric installed a multi camera camera security system with movement detection lights. This service also installed a power transfer switch to the main electrical panel to allow a hookup of an generator back up power source in the event of a power failure. These services were done within a 7.5 hour time period, efficiently, with quality and professional attention. Our household was instructed on the workings of the newly installed equipment, what to do snd not do, safety instructions and given review of equipment and service warrantees. Overall, an outstanding service.

I consulted with an electrician and a well established company regarding full installation of a front ring door bell ( need wire from the power box and a transmitter) plus few ring solar panels and camera. Also asked for a few power outlet installation and troubleshooting. The quote i got from them are all over $5000. Along with the high price the availability is also very hard to get. They all scheduled out 2-3 months or just never respond to my message.
I then texted Jake and he was able to reply my message the same day, troubleshoot some of my electrical work problem on the spot and even visited my place during the holiday season just to get the job done. (He explained to me how I DO NOT need to purchase a new circuit panel when other just straight up ask me to replace them)He had all the stuff taken care of within the same day and I paid 1/5 of what I will with other company.
As for the work he did, it has been 3 months and I have not encounter any issue. My house is still under remodel and will reach out to work with him again.

We had a home inspection prior to selling our home in Lynnwood, Wa. Multiple electrical deficiencies were noted. We contacted Jacob who responded promptly to our request with an extremely fair bid. He added an outlet to convert a wood burning fireplace to a gas insert. He completely rewired and grounded the electrical to bring it up to code. He installed new bathroom fans in each bathroom, and replaced all outlet and switch covers. He was flexible and able to accommodate our schedules. We were extremely pleased with his professionalism, integrity, and ability to complete the job promptly allowing us to put the home on the market quickly.

While I did not find Jacob on my own, I am glad the siding company we were working with hired Jacob to do the electrical work. Jacob understood my situation before arriving and communicated the plan for bringing my house back to electrical compliance. I would certainly hire Jacob in the future should I have any additional electrical work that needs to be completed.
