I inherited four Japanese maples...long trimmed by landscapers who simply hacked off around the outer edge and top with hedge trimmers. The oldest was 50 plus years old. Maple Man Shaun rescued my trees, and uncovered their true beauty. He is very knowlegeable, has a good eye, and is a tru professional. I highly recommend him!

We planted 4 Japanese maples in the last couple of years that were not the most well maintained. We were looking for someone that specialized in aesthetic pruning and care for the overall long term health of the trees over the last few months and are so happy we found Maple Man. I knew I needed someone skilled in trees but also maples to help trim back a 30 plus year old maple. This is why I knew the Maple Man would be up to the task. We have three Japanese maple trees in our front yard and need to trim them shorter for easier regular sheering. I found Shyam on the web and called him. Shyam’s professionalism and expertise deeply impressed me. He offered his opinion on how to handle these trees. We also had a couple phone conversations subsequently. Though I was not able to hire him due to the long driving distance between us (over a hundred mile). I do appreciate him sincerely. I will definitely hire him if we have large projects late on. My large laceleaf maple needed some serious attention. It looks significantly better and more sculptured. No longer a big ball of leaves.

Shyam took a day to care a wide range of trees in our yard. He is knowledgeable, skilled, and thoughtful in his process of structural and ornamental pruning. My wife and I both agree that the most amazing thing is that all the trees look better but it is really hard to tell what he did. We have a few more trees that he could not get to in a days work so we will certainly have him back in the fall and annually to ensure that our trees stay healthy. In addition to his work he is just an overall good guy is easy to work, punctually and fair. We would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends and family.

The “Maple Man” did a beautiful job pruning several Japanese maples in our yard. He was so easy to communicate with, on time, and super thorough…picking up every last twig from the ground as he left.
