Carlos and his team were fast, efficient, and did a stellar job on our turf install! The project came with some challenges for us. It is a small yard (18'x7') and difficult to access. Some companies flat out refused the job. We received 4 estimates that ranged from $4200 to over $7000. JS Landscaping was the $4200 one. This gave me pause as I firmly believe you get what you pay for. I asked Carlos about this and he explained most companies have a minimum amount they will charge for any landscaping job, no matter how small and regardless of the work involved. He was right. Thinking back I realized that all the companies I spoke with asked how big my yard was and immediately told me about their $5000 minimum. Incidentally, they all far surpassed the minimum, citing "difficulty of access". Well, I hired JS Landscaping and Carlos and his team cut down the wild brush that was blocking the alley to access my yard in 10-15 minutes maybe. Not so difficult after all. The job itself took little more than half a day total. I watched intermittently, and it was clear they were focused on the quality of execution. I ended up saving $1000+ because Carlos has that seemingly rare quality of integrity. I highly recommend JS Landscaping both for the quality of their work and for the quality of their character.

Carlos and his team are awesome! They excavated and leveled our backyard (roughly 1,700 sq ft) + one of our large raised beds that had become very overgrown, created curved mulch beds with snap-edging around our fence & shed, installed several rectangular olympic pavers, and laid a large section of artificial turf, cut to fit the shape of our yard. They started the project first thing on a Monday morning and finished that Friday. Everything looks amazing! Carlos was always very responsive via text and email as well. We would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who's looking into having some landscaping work done. We'll certainly be reaching out to them for future projects :)

If we could give a 6 star review, we would definitely do so in a heartbeat for JS landscaping. We have worked with many people and they are by far one of the best businesses around! The crew arrived right on time every morning, worked very efficiently throughout the day, finished the job before the deadline and his pricing was the best around. We are already planning on having them work on other projects in the future!

Carlos and his team were extremely effecient! They exceeded our expectations in all areas of the project. His team accomplished more in 1 day than my husband and I could have in 1 month. We had an old sprinkler system that was cracked and above ground. They move the system, installed a new system, and combined our two controllers into 1. We will continue to use Carlos for any future irrigation needs and also recommend his services to everyone! Thank you Carlos and team.

I had a piece of land I needed cleared (Trees Bushes Debris etc) I got a great quote from Carlos (owner) decided to move forward and couldn’t be happier I did. Wanted extra parking so I asked him what would be most practical and budget friendly. He gave me a couple options I went the gravel way. Great communication and hard quick workers.

Carlos listened to problems with driveway trench drain installed by another contractor and made suggestions on how to improve the situation. He followed up with timely demolition and construction, site cleanup, and advice on concrete curing.

Understood what I wanted and went above and beyond to deliver a finished product that I am extremely happy with. I look forward to working with Carlos and his crew in the near future.

It was a great experience to work with Carlos and his crew. After coming up with a plan to improve our yard drainage, he listened to our input and made adjustments over the course of the project to better suit what we needed. We appreciate their quality work done in our yard!

Carlos and team were amazing to work with. He came by the same day I originally called him and showed me turf samples. He gave me pricing that evening. He was really responsive, professional, friendly, worked with our budget, and the turf is awesome. He showed up early and always communicated about his schedule. We had a lot of rainy days to deal with. After his turf work was complete we asked him to do concrete work as well and it turned out great. I’m picky, and he impressed me a ton! We’d love to work with them again and we’d highly recommend their services. Also, something to note - everyone is super busy right now. It’s hard to get people to show up and get work done. Carlos made it happen.

Carlos worked within our budget to help us come up with a plan to install turf in our backyard and went the extra mile to make sure it looked great. The turf/synthetic grass looks amazing. It is kid/pet friendly and has transformed our back yard. Also, they magically finished the job in half the time expected. Highly recommended!

Carlos and his crew made a French drain for our backyard. We couldn’t be happier with this project! It was easy to get in contact with Carlos and he is a great communicator. Very professional and finished in the exact timeline. He and his crew were very efficient and worked hard. It was evident in communicating and seeing the work done that he is experienced and knows what he is talking about and doing.

He and his crew were very respectful of our property and came back the next day to make sure that everything was cleaned up and put back the way we wanted it. We hired Carlos and his team to put down a gravel pad as a base for a prefab shed, and they did a fabulous job! They were on time, professional, left the area looking clean, and they even moved a super heavy birdbath rock that was in the way. We’re very happy with our new gravel pad and will definitely call them again if we need anything done in the future!

Contractor filled sinkhole in front yard in 4 hours at estimated cost. In doing the fill they discovered a tunnel running from the sinkhole for several feet and thought it might be an animal tunnel. Moles can dig tunnels as deep as 40 inches so they are suspects. So the job I believe was bigger than expected but there was no additional cost. So I’m.very pleased with the job. They will add more dirt later if settling ochres as is normal. So 5 stars.

Fantastic experience with Carlos and his crew installing artificial turf in my yard. Carlos came out the same day we spoke to check out the area, and he was able to answer all of my questions and gave me a rough quote. He later worked with me a bit on the final price, and he and his guys were out for the install just days later. They completed the project in one day and it looks fantastic! Carlos and his team did a great job installing our synthetic turf. We needed turf in our dog run area since it was a pain to maintain with regular grass. We were referred by our neighbors and gave him a call and he answered right away and promptly came within a couple days to check out the area and give us a quote. He was very clear in answering questions and upfront with all pricing which we liked. After a couple weeks we reached out to move forward and he was able to get us scheduled that same week. On the morning of the appt he let us choose which turf we wanted which was nice to have choices especially something that is safe for our pups. He and his team were able to complete the job within a few hours and did an excellent job leaving the area clean and neat. They are professional, neat, honest, and quick! We would definitely recommend Carlos and his team for synthetic turf installation!

I lived with a destroyed yard full of rocks for almost 2 years after remodeling. I finally pulled the trigger and had turf installed since my yard is shaded by large trees. I’m very happy with the job the crew did and I’ve already had people ask for their contact information because they were impressed with the transformation.

Carlos and his team were phenomenal!! It has been one month since he completed our yard and fence project and we are still thrilled with the result. After we requested several bids from companies, he came over the same day to provide an estimate. He was knowledgeable and suggested we use ecology blocks rather than paver blocks to extend our yard and flatten a large slope. His quote was reasonable, which included the retaining wall, filling with dirt, seeding grass, and fencing the entire perimeter of our back yard. We are so happy we went with Carlos' and JS Landscape & Excavation. The work was completed on time in 10 days over the holidays. Unbelievable amount of work and we were so impressed with his crew. (In fact, my neighbor also contacted them to do concrete work and fencing because she was so impressed by their work ethic and end result.) A++ work. Thank you!
