So glad we decided to go with Sewer Friendly to replace our aging sewer line. Elliot and Jesus work was so impressive that the city inspector told us that we were incredibly lucky to have such top notch work. Nice to hear from someone who knows what good work looks like! On top of that, Elliot and Jesus were professional in their communication throughout the project.

We had a fantastic experience with Sewer Friendly!
After getting 5 separate quotes, we hired Sewer Friendly to initially fix a couple feet of shallow broken cement pipe and install a two way clean-out, but it quickly became a much larger project that required digging up the whole sewer line outside the house.
They were timely in getting a quote for the updated project at a very reasonable price.
Josseth and Marcos did a great job keeping me updated while digging the trench, replacing the whole sewer line, getting the necessary inspections, and backfilling everything.
After the main project, they've sent people out twice (at my request) to handle soil compaction/settlement problems above the 6-8 foot deep pipe as well as a second required city inspection.
Communication and scheduling with Nina has been easy, timely, and a total delight.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sewer Friendly if you have any sewer-related projects on your property!

We went for Sewer Friendly after a sewer scope revealed an issue with our pipe. Along every step of the way, Sewer Friendly went above and beyond - we simply couldn't be happier with their service, or strongly recommend them for any sewer repair/replacement.

Sewer Friendly did a fantastic job converting my home from septic to sewer. They managed the hiccups that came in dealing with the Northshore Utility District, none of which were their fault. They did a great job in putting my yard back together including a paver pathway which I really appreciated. I would not hesitate to hire them again!

Sewer Friendly fixed a sewer line backup on our property. They were great to work with. Professional, courteous, careful, explained everything every step of the way, and consulted and troubleshot every aspect of the project with me. Nina in the office was extremely helpful, as well as Shane and Chris, who were the first ones out to diagnose the problem. They came back to flush out the blockage after Kenneth and Marcos dug up the sewer. Can't say enough good things about Kenneth (and Marcos) who did the yeoman's work of hand digging and replacing a long section of old, damaged line. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after the three day job. I highly recommend Sewer Friendly.

I should have written this 4 years ago, but it got lost in the shuffle of daily life. We contacted Sewer Friendly on a job where our sewer pipe actually popped out and began leaking underground. Sewer friendly came in and dug out the area with the offending pipe and fixed it really well. In retrospect, maybe the 4 year gap has been good since we haven't had any issues since. In case yo were wondering about the longevity of their work. Jamie helped us through the whole process. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and 1 long overdue review!

From first contact with Jamie in the office, to the initial visit and assessment from Tyler & Jason, to the work done by Kevin, Ryan, and Garrett, we couldn't be happier. Top notch operation! Nina was awesome at moving schedules to accommodate our needs. The guys digging the hole were very professional and really worked hard to keep the area clean and organized. Shane worked his magic with the hydro jet and invited me to see the video results as well as talk through options. I'm very impressed with Sewer Friendly and you shouldn't hesitate to give them a call. Oh, they are also fair and affordable.

We were told by a plumber after he spent a lot of effort clearing the drain in our yard to call a drain company because although he cleared the drain, the pipe was broken allowing dirt to be sucked into it.
We called Sewer Friendly. They replaced the broken pipe and also showed us with their camera the remaining drain was deteriorating on the inside. They dug out a section of the concrete pipe. It was obvious it was disintegrating and had a large chunk inside that would interrupt the flow.
Sewer Friendly used a process called Pipe Bursting to replace the whole pipe without digging up the whole yard.
The people from Sewer Friendly were very professional explaining every step in the process and readily answered all of our questions. We had a family emergency during this time and the office and staff was very helpful and caring. The office staff kept us informed of scheduling and the communication between the office, the workers and us was great. At the end of the job they did a great job cleaning up the yard and the cement work was well done. We will definitely recommend Sewer Friendly to anyone in need of work. We had a big job for Sewer Friendly and they did a great job. We didn't get competing bids because when there was sewer line repair on our house upon purchase and we sought bids from local companies, including a local West Seattle business (where we're located), folks were quite unreliable and only Sewer Friendly followed through on exactly their word, executing on the cheapest of multiple possible options (the cheapest option definitely made the most sense here in context).

We called them out to sleeve our entire side sewer line: over 200 feet! Rick took the time to help me understand the scope of the work and our options when he came out for the quote and was very knowledgeable on some potential issues in our sewer line we saw in the scope. The crew (Greg, James, and Johnny) got the work completed with only one additional day from our original rough expectation (6 days versus 5 days), which is pretty impressive given the crummy weather and the fact that 3 holes had to be dug and later filled, including one in concrete in a small street. There was no issue with inspection, holes were filed in very nicely, and they even covered the hole in our lawn with some sod because filling it in ended up leaving an ugly square in our yard otherwise (probably due to wild animals messing with the dug up grass). Thanks to Rick's detailed discussion with me upfront, there were no surprises in the work done and no unexpected work I had to be charged for.

The only minor criticism I have is that the person at the office that worked with me on the quote wasn't with the company a month later when work began (I chose the timeline to be a month out for unimportant reasons), and so there was some confusion between the work order and my original discussions with that individual on work to be done because there were several versions of their quote that had been produced in that original discussion. To their credit, the owner (can't recall her name) and Elliott were very easy to reach over the phone and respected all the original terms and quoted pricing without fuss, which I had email records of. Everyone from the front office to the crew was very professional and the crew was generally diligent about wearing a mask whenever I came out to talk to them.

Oh, and while they were out here Rick came out and helped me troubleshoot a tricky clogged drain in our laundry room. Excellent customer service the whole way. Would certainly work with Sewer Friendly again, but hopefully this fix is permanent so I won't have to!

It was a delight working with the whole team at Sewer Friendly! I so appreciated Caleb's candor and transparency when I first called to ask for a second opinion on our sewer main line, how quickly Josseth and Jeff came out to inspect and give me their second opinion, and that they happily returned a few days later to meet me in person to talk through the job, so that I had the right expectations. And then I was so delighted with how incredibly thoughtful the team was, how tidy and secure Tamel and Josseth left the job site on the first day, and how careful they were with our property. They even sprinkled spruce needles over the top of where they did the repair, to make it look like nothing ever happened. How thoughtful is that??? Highly recommended.

These guys know what they are doing. Fast, efficient, friendly, answered all my wife's questions, fixed the break in the line, handled inspections and did a great job of clean-up. Competitive bid. Had another bid almost 2x's as much. I would recommend without hesitation. Thanks for the good work.

Full Review: Sewer Friendly has helped us with maintenance and hydro jetting of our clay pipes for the past years. They have always been very responsive to our needs whenever issues with our sewer arose, and they have been very reasonably priced.

Our recent sewer lining project, in which Sewer Friendly lined our 100+ year-old clay pipes, was another positive experience. Caleb, Jeff, Thomas, and Izzy kept us well informed throughout our project, responded to our questions in a timely way, and ensured that our priorities and concerns were listened to and respected, even when it made the work a little more complex.

Sewer Friendly stood out from the beginning/bidding stage. Based on our previous positive experiences, we would have been inclined to work with them even had their bid been merely similar to the other three bids we gathered, but in fact their bid made the decision easy — it was competitive, detailed, and included more options, in part because they have invested in tools for sewer lining that the other companies we spoke with did not yet have.

As with any project, we had a few wildcards. One was that the hole to access the sewer line had to be dug near a large, established cedar tree that we were concerned about damaging. The team worked with us to protect the tree during the project. Chucho, who did the excavating in the root zone, took a lot of care to minimize any damage to the tree’s roots when digging. A second wildcard was a short, mid-project delay arising from a question to the city regarding our connection to the main sewer. Again, Sewer Friendly’s communications were clear, keeping us updated and rescheduling us promptly as soon as we could move forward.

Everyone we worked with was professional and attentive. They sleeved our entire sewer line (one 20’ section and another 85’ section). The work was done quickly and thoroughly to make sure that all aspects of the lining and the re-establishment of the tie-ins that intersected with the newly lined sewer were completed correctly.

Thomas and his lining team (Roto and Gabriel) ensured that everything was completed up to their standards and our hopes. And at the end of the project, the team that finished off the plumbing connections and re-filled the excavated areas left everything spotless (thank you again, Chucho and Masa).

Sewer Friendly went above and beyond in making sure they completed the work in a manner that exceeded our expectations. We are very happy to have worked with them again and recommend Sewer Friendly without reservation.

Sewer Friendly lives up to its name! From the beginning, Josseth, the tech who provided the initial scope, was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He invited me to review the footage as he identified the problem areas and thoroughly outlined his proposed solution. The next day, Caleb followed up with me to talk through the estimate - answering all my questions and even providing a sketch of the project. I solicited three bids and Sewer Friendly came in with the lowest price! If you appreciate customer service, you'll find it with this team.

I could not be happier with the work that Sewer Friendly did at my home! They installed a sewer sleeve and did it within the given time frame for a very reasonable price. We contacted 3 different sewer lining companies for quotes and ended up going with Sewer Friendly due to several factors including their mapping out 3 branches feeding into the main line that neither of the other two companies found even after asking what about this one possible location. Bid was competitive with others and Caleb explained the different types curing methods used. Work was completed and areas cleaned. Great friendly company I would, and have, recommended to others.
