We had Ben from Greenwood Heating and Home Services clean our furnace. He was on time and thorough.
We also had Cameron come and clean our furnace blower wheel. He also was on time and did a great job.
We worked on the phone with Mohammed. All 3 of these men were knowledgeable and honest. I would definitely recommend Greenwood.

We have had two service calls with Greenwood and are very satisfied! The first time Jacob came and repaired a split duct unit. He explained what needed to be done with the rest of the system and did a fantastic job cleaning out the split duct. Michelle came out for the follow up and cleaned out the remaining two split ducts. She was professional and thorough. We will definitely call Greenwood again!

Dylan and Jordan replaced our hot water heater today. They were great to work with from start to finish. I received a call first thing in the morning with an expected arrival time which was very accurate. Dylan arrived and explained what needed to be done and what the process would look like. After installation and confirming that the water was heating as it should be, Dylan showed me the new tank and fittings as well as Jordan’s handiwork at securing the tank with earthquake straps. We have been working with Greenwood for a few years now and continue to be very happy with their service.

Josh and Zack replace out furnace with an energy efficient Train model. They were courteous and professional and the job was well done. The transition was excellent teaching us how to use the apps and the new thermostat and we are quite pleased. I have no trouble giving the team five stars and recommending Greenwood.

I have been working with Greenwood for a few years now. I've tried others a few times yet I always come back. Scheduling service is easy, and I like the safety I feel from the text with the service person's photo and bio prior to arrival. They are persistent in solving any problem and thorough when completing service. All techs have been wonderful, and Jordan who was recently out was very professional, polite, and crazy knowledgeable. I will continue to work with greenwood and can't recommend them enough.

I used Greenwood last year to install a new heat pump and air handler - the team was great (see previous post). Greenwood just came out again to do the annual maintenance and the tech (Leon N) was fantastic - he did a great job, explained what he was doing, and gave us tips we can take. All-in-all I highly recommend Greenwood.

Greenwood heating and plumbing is always reliable, very responsive, and always sends very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful technicians! Today Chris came out for our regular scheduled maintenance and performed all of the checks and tests and clearly documented what he did and explained it in a very user-friendly way. He also was out to diagnose an issue. He was very thorough and thoughtful in thinking about the problem and possible causes and possible solutions. He detailed the causes and again explained it in very user-friendly ways and yet very professional. He offered useful solutions and ideas. Would absolutely recommend him and Greenwood in general

Our 35 year old gas furnace in Seattle was on the fritz and was diagnosed as dangerous. As it was rather a hopeless situation to repair, Sam helped us with picking a new unit for our situation and budget. It was installed the NEXT day. Thanks to Luke, Sam, Bryan and Nathan.

Greenwood Heating installed and has maintained annually our ductless mini split unit for over 8 years with few hiccups. Today our service technician, Brad, was outstanding! He was communicative throughout the maintenance process and very thorough. He did recommend a deep cleaning on a part not normally a part of the maintenance routine but he showed me exactly what he was referring to (it was gross) and recommended the deep clean. He explained exactly what he’d do and how much the work would be. A fair price so we approved the work. Brad was very professional and respectful as we mask around those we aren’t around frequently. He, without our asking, also masked. Further, Brad was a good sport putting up with our 3 small and excited pups.

Greenwood hires the best techs and this is the main reason we stay with them and remaining a member.

I had such a great experience with this company; our furnace went out right in the holiday week and they send Jen come to our house the same day I called to get an estimate (we knew we had to replace it) she was amazing explaining all the details of the process and differences between our options.
They send Alex and Jared to install the furnace and they were great too, friendly and assuring, making sure that we didn’t have any questions or concerns. The work was clean and very professional.
I would recommend to anyone I know to work with them.

Our old furnace was leaking gas, and “red tagged” by the gas company. I called Greenwood while the gas inspector was finishing up the paperwork. Lori was able to get to our house in less than an hour (we totally lucked out with an appointment time!). She did an awesome job of explaining the different options to us, and scheduling an installation for the next day.
Tyler and Tyler did an amazing job on installing our new furnace, making sure it was venting properly, cleaning up beautifully, and explaining everything before they left.
With temperatures dipping into the freezing zone, we are so grateful and impressed that Greenwood was able to come out so quickly and install a new furnace within 24 hours. Not only will I call them again, but I will recommend them to everyone I see. Thank you, Greenwood!

We had Greenwood come in and replace my mother in laws very old furnace (over 30 years). We knew the old one was going out, they came out and tried to see if they could fix it when we realized it could not be fixed they came out the very next day at 8am to replace the old furnace. Jordan and his co-worker (sorry can't remember his name) were so great! Explained everything they were doing, and took the time to walk through the new furnace and helped with the thermostat to make sure everything was working properly. They were really great to work with, I would highly recommend Greenwood heating and thank you Jordan and your wonderful co-worker for your hard work!

I have had very positive experiences with Greenwood Heating and Home Services! Most recently, Ratnesh came out and not only diagnosed the problem with our ductless minisplit but he went above and beyond to do it right. He paid a lot of attention to detail like taking the time to thoroughly clean the heat pump so if it were to ever break down again, it would be easy to see what is wrong. He talked through everything he was doing and it was apparent he was highly experienced and competent. Greenwood has been our Heating resource for over 30 years. About 8 years ago we contracted with Greenwood to install an upper floor air conditioning system. Then in middle-2017 we again contracted with Greenwood to replace our aging furnace. It was installed in June 2017- but never even turned on until late fall 2017. At that time, we noticed that it was very noisy. Our TV room is separated by a wall and about 15 feet from the furnace. We had Greenwood come out to help with the noise problem- whomever came said the installation was all good. So we proceeded to try to learn to live with the noise. Finally, this fall I had to resort to stuffing towels into the TV Room vent to quiet the system (no heat through that vent, of course). Then I came to the realization that this is just not right. My wife and I were prepared to do what we had to, 2.5 years after initial installation, to get the noise issue resolved. We called Greenwood, and Project Manager Jake Orton came. He immediately diagnosed the basic problem: the 6 Ton fan was producing way too much for our 1930 duct system. He found an open box 3 Ton unit and promptly swapped it out. The noise is 95% less – barely noticeable. We are very pleased. The fact that Greenwood took care of this issue way after the install date shows nothing but CLASS.Your installers, Samuel K and his assistant, notified us that the start time would be delayed- they were in transit but were being detoured because of a traffic accident. Their work was clean and professional.

Let my share something that Samuel did. He had to cut a hole in the ducting in the furnace room to access the rear of a vent shoot. When done, he cut a one-foot square piece to sheet metal to patch this access hole. After screwing the patch in, he then applied some kind of gray sealant to around the edges. This hole was in the furnace room- he could have just quickly brushed on the sealant. But he took the extra 2 minutes to use blue painters masking tape to edge-off the painted area so that when tape was pulled off, there were nice, straight lines. Minor step. But I noticed. This gave me confidence that the rest of the job was thorough- and that Samuel did not take any short-cuts. I will continue to highly recommend Greenwood.

We had a wonderful experience with Greenwood Heating from start to finish. First, Kyler explained our options for adding a heat pump to keep us cooler in the summer, which also involved an electrical upgrade and new gas furnace. I chose to reschedule the work from February to March and had no problems doing that through the office. Once the schedule was in place, they sent reminders of when technicians would arrive and kept all of their commitments. The installations went very smoothly and the project was completed ahead of the scheduled four days. Tyler, Jared M., Jared A. and Alex (and a couple of names I'm missing) were so polite and explained everything very clearly. They really went above and beyond and Jared M. was so sweet to even fix a lamp cord that my husband mentioned to him. All the work looks very professional and clean. I've already made an appointment to have Jared M. do some additional electrical projects for us. We've had a few house projects done this past year, and this was by far the best experience. Top notch in every way!

John was our salesperson. He was out to our house the same day, and was transparent and honest in his approach which we very much appreciated. Our new Daikin furnace and heat pump were installed over 2 days (1 day after our initial meeting we had heat)and Julio led the install. Everyone was professional and friendly. Highly recommend GW Heating &Air. A bonus- they are a recommended service provider by PSE, which means they have gone through an extensive 3 year vetting process (per PSE). This is not something every heating and air company has so do your research before deciding. GW also has 24 hour customer service. We were originally looking at another company and the customer service was non-existent and we were very happy we called GW.

A person would think when they pay $25,000 for electrical work including a new panel, that the contractor (greenwood) would know how to label the panel. After THREE attempts they still marked a circuit breaker with a “?” And the bigger joke is they will make your walls and ceiling look like Swiss cheese when they cut hole between each stud to run wire. Then to top it off, when your brand new furnace needs service after they installed it wrong, we have to move the washing machine out of the way every time because they positioned the furnace wrong and had to cut a 2ft by 5ft panel out of the wall which cannot be resealed because of service access. Think twice before you hire them to make your house look like Swiss cheese and with a three year old hand writing.

We had a great Greenwood experience! From service tech Al, to sales rep Kyler, to installer Felix and his assistant all went great. Professional, honest, communicative, fast service, and all-around great guys. Would definitely recommend! Nice to have warm tootsies again.
