Justis, the electrician from Phase NW who arrived at my home was very thorough when he checked out the electrical problems. He clearly explained things I did not understand and was very careful to not let something go without making sure I understood what he saw. He also told me about the options I had to resolve the issues. He can come back anytime, as far as I'm concerned. And, when he had finished checking out everything I had asked him about, I asked him how I should pay him. He didn't even charge me for the advice and the time he spent going through each issue. He gave me several options and clearly explained each. He also made sure my existing connections in the panel were solid as part of the process.

Gene, the owner, came over to give an estimate on several updates that we wanted to make (literally several pdf pages full) to our 1979 home that we are slowly renovating. He was thorough, asked many questions, and gave much appreciated advice.

Considering how many changes we wanted I was pleasantly surprised at the quote and scheduling was so straightforward. Every day that someone would come by the office would call me 15-20 minutes before arrival to let me know the crew was on the way.

Trey was who we worked most closely with on site, but Gene also came for some of the more complicated askers. Throughout the team was on time, explained the process to me, gave recommendations when several unexpected challenges came up, and cleaned up all areas after a job was complete. They were extremely professional and we are already planning out what additional projects we'd like them to tackle.

They were patient with my questions, flexible with additional asks, and so friendly from start to finish.

My assigned technician, Justis, was impressive in his knowledge, efficiency, courtesy (he had overshoe booties at the ready!), patience, politeness, professionalism, and timeliness. He quickly diagnosed my problem and presented viable options to remedy it. I was happy by the time he left. An outside GFCI outlet wasn't working. I worked to troubleshoot the issue, and observed a spark in the circuit breaker when turning it back on. At this point, I decided I needed an expert to weigh in on the problem. I found Phase NW in the Best Pick guide for South King County and was able to obtain an appointment in a couple of days. The initial quote was an estimate based on the information I provided. When the electrician was able to diagnose the issue within a few minutes, he provided helpful information to me and charged me for 1/2 hour of time, which was significantly less than the initial estimate.

Gene was professional responsive friendly and efficient. Installed a level 2 charger for us and we were very pleased with the cost and entire experience. Would definitely recommend

Gene showed up as promised and quickly found the problem with our existing thermostat installation . . . loose wire had caused a short in the line. He fixed the wires and then installed a new upgraded thermostat. We will use Gene again when we need help with electrical issues.
