To start off with, I had Denys electric do some work at my home. They were hired by my AC installation company to do the electrical work for them and I do feel they did a quality job.

While they were at my home and had the panel open I had asked if they could install a 240V wall outlet next to my electrical panel in my garage. They gladly did so. I do think they did a good job installing this.

The reason why I lowered them to a 3 star is I believe their prices to be significantly more expensive for a 240V wall outlet installation. Unfortunately we did not discuss the price until after the 240V installation was already done and I agree this is my fault; I should have clarified the price before the additional job was done. I had assumed it would be cheaper than many of the other quotes I had gotten since it was an add-on job, and they would already be at my house and had the panel already open. However they charged me much higher for 240V wall outlet than other many quotes I got locally for someone to come out and do just that one job from scratch.

In summary, they do good work, but price wise, much more expensive and would get other estimates.

Excellent service from start to finish! They installed the electrical system for our new air conditioner flawlessly and even fixed a broken outlet we had been meaning to repair. The team was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. Everything works perfectly, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend their services!

Since the bomb cyclone weeks ago, most of our power was restored except for our master bedroom, master bath & closet. Denys came out to diagnose the problem and was able to fix the issue quickly. He was super thorough and knowledgeable. His rates are very reasonable. We will definitely be using him again for future projects!

The project manager came as scheduled and prepared to start. The staff displayed skill and expertise, as well as a kind and welcoming attitude. I hired Denys Electric for a kitchen renovation I was working on. Deny was able to come out to my house for an estimate the same day I initially called. His pricing was very fair. Scheduling was easy. His team has always showed up when they said they would. They were able to get the job completed in a timely and professional manner. Denys runs a great organization and is an excellent, highly experienced electrician who obviously understands all the codes, including very recently updated ones. He accurately diagnosed a problem, knew how to set up lightning so it was easy to operate from multiple entries, replaced an EV charger with no fuss, has a good sense of humor, and does not leave a mess. I’m very happy to have him work on my projects.

Denys did the electrical work for my Heat Pump install. His work was very neat and executed quickly.

I called him back for a car charger install a few months later. Again, he performed high quality work with efficient execution. He advised on how and where to install the charger to reduce overall cost to me, which I appreciated quite a bit!

He also took the time to answer my electrical questions on my house which gave me comfort that my house's electrical was up to current standards.

I'd recommend him if you are looking for electrical work in the greater Seattle area.

Kirk our electrician was out here today with Mayster HVAC and he went above and beyond, thoughtful and considerate, all his work was symmetrical and clean, he left nothing behind, greatly appreciate all his efforts today, he made everything easy…

I called and there was no answer at 9:00am on a Thursday morning- usually I don’t bother to call a company back or even leave a message when it’s something as urgent as an electrical issue in my kitchen. Something told me to try him again at 10:30am and I’m so glad I did.

After a short phone call, I was able to text Deny my address and a few pictures of the issue. He showed up on time with a professional, no BS attitude. He knew his trade well, there is no denying that.

After making the initial assessment, we agreed on him buying parts and then meeting at 8:00am the following morning to finish the work.

The only odd part of the entire encounter was when he texted to ask me if one of his “guys” could show up later after 1pm today to finish the work.

His “guys” ended up being two boys- barely out of HS. I could immediately tell they were his sons (who look like twins by the way).

Now the fact he sent his sons is 100% okay - yet I believe transparency is needed here. If he would have said “this is a start forward wire replacement in the wall- I will have my sons (who I am passing the trade down to) finish the job. Rest assured if there are any surprises I will be there in 20 minutes to fix the issue.”

I would have felt better. . . . Letting his sons cut drywall in my kitchen and work with hot electricity seemed a tad unsettling.

Our issue indeed ended up being slightly bigger than a single wire replacement. There was an extra hour needed for dad to come fix the issue (an outside box outlet also needed replacement). Our house is from 1988 and is oddly daisy-chained.

The beautiful parts of this exchange were the following:

1.) The price was insanely reasonable given how much knowledge Deny had, how much time he took to go buy the parts and how quickly he diagnosed and then problem-solved and fixed the issue.

It would have cost me double anywhere else.

The total cost ended up in the hundreds when it could have been in the thousands.

2.) I got to watch a dad try to pass on his knowledge and electrician trade to his sons. It isn’t every day you see this.

3.) They got the entire job done in one day. Working even outside with an electronical outlet while it dumped rain.

4.) The drywall hole they made is phenomenal. I completely expected to have to replace a sheet of drywall but instead I will be able to mud it, sand it and paint it.

Kirk at Denys Electric is outstanding! Hired him a couple times to get a 220V charging point in the garage and then to install LED lights. He is extremely responsive, reasonably priced and gets work done efficiently. He’s our go-to electrician now!

I have recently used Denys electric to replace my old 100 amps electrical panel with a 200 amps new one. The job was not easy since the outside and inside panels are separated by about 10 ft of narrow crawling space. Denys crew did a super job. Clean and very professional. Denys came out to put the final touches and make sure everything looks fine and up to code. We passed City inspection today with flying colors. All of this was done on time and at a very reasonable price. Great value. Great people. Highly responsive and super professional. Highly recommended.

As a new general contractor it’s important to find partners that you can count on. Denys and his team are amazing partners to work with. They are incredibly reasonably priced, efficient, and responsive. I don’t think I’ve ever sent a text, call, or email without getting a same day response.
