Tree reviews in Kent, Washington

I called Davey Tree for an evaluation of our trees that needed pruning and one small tree removal. Their Arborist Cole came out and understood everything I was looking to have done. A few days later Jake and Nate came out to do the work. They did a great job and also did a great cleanup job. Everything was handled professionally. Everyone was great and asked to be sure they did what I wanted. They are even going to be able to save one of my cedar trees that is presently struggling. I highly recommend Davey Tree Service for your professional tree needs.

The crew from Davey Tree was a pleasure to work with. Before beginning work, Dan talked with me about the trees to be trimmed to make sure that we both understood the needs and expectations of the job. I also had a large cedar tree removed and its stump ground. The clean-up was very thorough, so much so that my neighbor commented on it. Many thanks to the crew (who worked all day in the rain, incidentally)!

The Davey tree care crew, Jake, Nate, Ethan, and Andrew, did a great job. They were very thorough, professional, and friendly. They checked with us multiple times to make sure the trimming they were doing was meeting our expectations. The trees look great!

From the quote process to the finished work Davey was amazing. My prior tree co went out of business and I didn’t think I’d find another I liked as much. I was wrong. My yard team, led by Dan, actually cared about my trees and my wishes. Dan listened and checked in w me along the way, doing a better job than the prior company. I look forward to using Davey going forward and encouraged my neighbors to give them a call.

Larry, Nate and Ethan were great! Professional, efficient and mindful of the job site, ensuring all was cleared away to my satisfaction. I'm sure I'll invite them back for any future tree services as needed.

Cole from Davey Tree is an excellent arborist. He provided me with valuable information about my tree and performed a fantastic job. The company also offers excellent customer service, and my concerns regarding the tree were promptly addressed.

We have worked with Davey Tree for 35 years and have always been pleased with their service. They have a top notch crew working well together. We especially appreciate that they work with us so we together understand how best to approach a project. Their recent visit once again reminded us why we chose Davey as our for our arborist. Thank you team!

Cody and Lacie were very thorough in their assessment and treatment of our rhodies and azaleas. We have been getting them treated for several years and they have never looked more healthy. Also noted bugs on our boxwood hedge and treated that as well. Really conscientious and working hard to make sure our trees and plants are well taken care of.

My husband and I truly appreciate the work Davey Tree did for us! My arborist Tyson spent valuable time at my property assessing all my concerns and more. Thankfully the tree we were most worried about is safe, but he noticed the one we weren't so concerned about was actually dying. We might have had a tree on our cars or house if not for him.
The crew did a killer job. Dan leading the crew assessed our needs and ensured him, Larry, Tyler, and Andrew completed the work to our satisfaction. We have our yard back thanks to them!
After the trimming work was completed, Cody and Lacie, their plant health care technicians, came out to complete some fertilization services. They were very communicative and even expressed how nice my Doug fair was. My 100 year old tree will be less stressed going forward thanks to them!
Thank you, Davey!

Davey always does a great job! The service team are communicative, courteous and take the time to answer all of my questions.

On 5/22/26 Davey (Jake, kaylin, Ethan and Andrew) did a fantastic job pruning our trees which included a Japanese maple that was higher than our two story house, a row of maples, raised the canopy of Douglas firs around the drIveway and pruned an upright Japanese maple, crab apple and other selected trees. The gentlemen were knowledgeable and experienced with hand pruning and the shrubs and trees they were working on. All fallen material was cleaned up and shredded. All our questions were answered and they delivered. Our yard looks great.

Crew was k look was well by Dan. Great customer care and always had time to discuss the Project so we all enjoyed the experience.

Great. Real pros.

Easy to work with and timely with pricing that I found to be reasonable. I’ll definitely be using this company again in the future!
