Anyone who needs tree services should at least consult with Greg and you will be sold.

We have several large tress in our backyard that we have been contemplating on getting it trimmed/removed for some time. I had received quotes from three different contractors but either they were too high, didn’t seem to have full knowledge about the trees, or didn’t respond to my inquiries which didn’t move the project any forward.
Greg’s name came up through Google/Craiglist search and he came to our home to provide a free estimate. He gave valuable advice on which trees to remove and which ones to trim (one third of the cost of complete removal), and how to deal with the removed trees, instead of paying him more money to get it hauled away. Another point that I was impressed with him that's worth mentioning is that he is very honest guy. I had in mind to cut all four trees but he wasn't just about making more money, but making sure the service would yield the best results for my objective and also cared about the trees.

In the end, we decided to remove 2 trees and trim 1, and the quote was reasonable. Since the trees were so close to our home and neighbor's, I was more concerned about the safety and the job. Greg said he wouldn't rush the job and decided to tackle this in two days, instead of one.

On the day of the service, he came out with 3 other crews who all worked very efficiently in harmony led by Greg.

There was no single incident over the two days and everything including clean up was superb. My wife and I couldn't be any happier on hiring Greg to do the work. In case one of the trees in our yard becomes too problematic, I would hire Greg without a single hesitation.

Gregory and his team do excellent work, and at a great price. We had them out to remove a large cedar tree. They were here and gone in less than two hours. And the area was left spotless. They stacked the rounds for me, and promised to return later with a load of good quality wood chips for me. Two thumbs up.

I had 6, 150 foot trees directly on my property line, directly over fences and on the incredibly steep hill that is my back yard. Additionally a power pole was more or less touching two of the trees and the power lines ran through all of them. I initially expected Greg to tell me that it wasn't possible to accomplish the job because of how difficult the terrain in my back yard is but to my surprise he told me they could accomplish the job in 2 days for a price much lower than I was expecting. Greg was so attentive after my initial free estimate and went out of his way to pencil me into his schedule within a week! When his crew arrived they immediately got down to business and to my surprise they cut all 6 150 foot trees down in less than 10 hours, rather than 2 days like Greg had initially quoted me! His team is obviously a team of experts, my wife and I were terrified with how large our trees were and how close the power lines and our neighbors homes and fences were to the trees that an accident could happen. But Greg and his team flawlessly executed the job and not a single fence post was out of place. I was nervous about how my neighbors would react to having such a huge job underway and the fact that the alleyway next to my house had to be blocked for the trees to be fell but I'm in tree services went above and beyond and talked to all my neighbors while they were working and were so friendly that all my neighbors actually came out to take pictures of Greg and his team because of how expertly they took down the trees! From start to finish, I'm in was incredibly professional and made it apparent they are experts in their field! Watching the team work was incredible! After they finished leveling the trees they left my yard, the alleyway next to my house and my entire property spotless, even though the hill my yard sits on is insane, making it incredibly difficult to navigate. The amount of money that I'm in charged me is miles under what I expected to pay for such a difficult job, and the fact that 6 enormous trees were leveled SAFELY in less than 10 hours blows my mind. I honestly wish I had more trees to cut down just to watch Greg and his team work again because it was amazing! If you live in the Tacoma area and need any trees taken down, save yourself some time and don't shop around, call I'm in first because you won't be disappointed. I now have the peace of mind that during winter storms my house, my neighbors homes and anything on our properties is out of harms way. After seeing what I saw today, there truly isn't a job that these experts can't handle!

Gregory and his crew were professional, fast, efficient and affordable. They came out the next day when our tree fell after a storm and got it all cleaned up. They took extra care not to damage anything and cleaned all the debris out of our neighbors yard like it never happened. I would definitely hire them again.

Greg is your guy not alone a professional at cutting trees but also a professional at heart his heart is pure gold long story short I was flying my DJI drone and it ended up in a tree that I thought was 32 feet so what did I do I called so many other places to help but they all said no and didn’t want to even think twice to help me so I was on my last leg so I called Greg and when he answered I was a lil nervous to ask but he made me feel so comfortable and said give me 20 min I’ll be their drop you location so I did … I had called 9 places and Greg was the one who save the day and help . He could have said no after seeing the tree that I said was 32 feet that turn into 150 feet climb to save my drone . Also on top of it he just got off work already took a shower and was spending time with his wife and kids and family so with that said Greg has a heart and is a all around family business that stands on nothing but honestly and pure kindness. I still can’t believe after all this he never made me pay him . He just kept telling me that he knows the feeling this guy is one of a kind also a huge blessing. I paid an exorbitant $600 for this guy to prune my tree. And he would not honor the 10% off coupon that I had from the weekly coupon booklet that I get in the mail. He said my price was not applicable to the coupon even though the coupon stated no exemptions. For some reason I trusted him to do agreat job. When he wouldn't honor the coupon i should have declined and find someone else, but he sounded like he knew what he was doing. Said he gets up there and gets so detailed about what he's doing that he even uses snips. At first glance when I got home after work I thought it was OK... but then as time has gone on I can see more and more evidence of the fact that it's likely the worst $600 job I've ever paid for. He did not thin the branches except to trim off the suckers...but what I was left with is branches that are too long and the ends are so heavy they looked like water balloons blowing in the wind with the recent storm. When I called Gregory he said "first, the customer is always right. " then he proceeded to actually tell me that I was wrong about the job he did. That he did it according to how a plum tree should be pruned. I felt as though he was actually a bit condescending. I feel taken advantage of and am left with a ruined tree that will take years to rehab, and I will have to hire another company to do something with it in the fall. If I leave the branches as they are now, I have no doubt they will end up snapping in a fall storm. While doing yard work today I was out under the tree and I can see literally dozens and dozens of dead twiggy branches that should have been "snipped" off. He should be embarrassed. For $600 I got the shaft. The pictures clearly show how heavy he left the ends of the branches and the under side of the branches showing all the dead stuff that he didn't bother to do anything with.
EDIT IN RESPONSE TO GREGORY STILL TRYING TO BLAME ME.... It was not a month later...it was like 10 days later. So how do you explain the dead branches you left on it in the pictures? You said you get up there with snips to thin out... you clearly did not. You are full of excuses. There was no"threat" of a bad review... there was a statement of fact that I would do so. You do bad work, you deserve a bad review. That simple. Argue it all you want... you did a crappy job and charged way too much money and didn't honor the coupon you put out in the mailer... and left me a tree with tons of dead branches on it still that weigh it down as shown in the pictures. Don't worry... I've hired someone to come fix what you did not do properly. Don't put blame on me for your bad work. By the way... the wind in Yelm never reached 40mph. Don't exaggerate. And yelm did not receive 3 inches of rain. Having a tree pruned should make it more able to withstand bad weather... you made it worse because now the branches bend horribly
when wet and whip around in the wind because they are far too heavy on the ends. Period.
Oh...but the extra work... removing the arborvitae...I offered to pay... you said no charge. It took your worker two seconds to take it down... and he damaged a large branch on the California Lilac that I have since had to cut off. Thanks for reminding me to bring that up.

Recommending this guy, whether it is a small job or a big one! Great work and great guy! Greg is amazing! He exceeded my expectations. His workers were also amazing! Gregory and his team are fantastic. Showed up early in the morning (at our discussed time)and was done with about 6 trees before noon. They are clean and they are FAST. Will absolutely be doing business again in the future. Thanks again!

Big shout out to the IM IN services team! They absolutely delivered on their promise to remove a large tree from our backyard. It was no fun to have to bring down such an old healthy tree, but it was growing directly on the property line and dropping huge branches onto our neighbors.

Greg was super chill to talk with and very direct with his quote process with full transparency the whole time which I absolutely appreciate. He was honest about the services he offered and even gave helpful alternatives depending on what I chose to do. He also stood by his team as the best in the business without making any negative comments about his competition which I respected.

The quote was fair and a great deal in my opinion, he and his team handled the whole process for me and made it as easy as possible, literally no fuss on my end.

His team was definitely professional and knew what they were doing. They were efficient and handled what, in my opinion was a very difficult job, with ease. They had to take down HUGE branches one by one by rope and pulley to avoid any damage to our neighbors grass, fence and property and they made it look EASY.

They were on time, friendly, cleaned up not just my property but my neighbors as well. They had all the necessary equipment which made the job quick and inspired confidence.

The quality of their work had my neighbors asking for their card to have work done on their own property.

Another important thing to note is how accurate Greg’s quote was on the time needed to complete the job, waiting for the power company to drop lines was the only delay, Greg’s team was on time and ready to go and still got the job done within our expected time frame. For anyone who has a busy schedule that is HUGE!

Greg was very prompt with every step from our first call, the free estimate, providing the written estimate and scheduling. He worked well with me on a third party payer situation as well.
When it came to the scheduled date, the winds were too high and he quickly and politely stated that it would be unsafe and asked to push out 2 days. I, of course, said that was not a problem.
Two days later Greg and his team showed up ready to get down to business. They started at 8 a.m. and we're done by noon. Two trees were quickly and efficiently downed. They cleaned as they went, chipping branches and clearing sawdust. I asked that they leave the wood and they obliged and left it in a neat pile.
They were all very professional and had great senses of humor. They were also very tolerant of my being right there watching the whole time. I loved watching the process and I was also very excited because I'd waited 11 years to get these 2 trees gone!
There was also a mated pair of birds trying to build a nest (no eggs yet) in a knothole and the guys did their best to save it!
I'M IN! Tree Services is absolutely amazing and, if I had any trees left to get rid of, I'd definitely call them again!

Highly recommend Greg and his crew for their work. We had a 100+ft tree that needed to come down. Price for tree removal and stump grinding was fair. They were on time and quick to work.
Our stump was stubborn to grind but Greg put in the extra effort to get it down.
They were very thorough in the clean up and listened to all our asks.

Greg and his team made trimming our property a great experience. He gave us a quick and fair estimate, showed up on time, and had all the equipment needed on site. They made easy work, pruning and cleaning out our eight large fir trees. Some branches were hanging over neighbors’ fences, but they carefully handled everything without damaging any structures. Their cleanup was spotless, and honestly I felt should have been an add on to my service it was so good. I’ll definitely call Greg again for any future tree work. Highly recommend!

Thanks so much to Greg and his crew at I'M IN Tree Services who did a fantastic job cutting down a 100 foot fir tree on our property that was in danger of falling on our home. They were on time, extremely professional, and completely cleaned up the cut site as well as our long driveway where they had to trim several trees and bushes to get their large truck onto our property. In addition, the crew moved 4 cubic yards of tree shavings into a neat compact path in our chicken yard to make a mud-free walking path from our back door to the chicken coop. Tim and his crew did an exceptional job removing a fallen tree on my rental property. They were on time, thorough and performed a complete clean up of all residue. His estimate was fair, affordable and reasonable. His quote easily beat three other overpriced quotes, and he was unaware of the other bids. This shows that his pricing is fair and not trying to price gouge anyone just because of neighborhood perceptions. Veteran Tree Service earns and deserves their 5 star rating without question.

I can't express how grateful I am to Tim for removing a huge dead tree in my backyard that has been stressing me out for YEARS. I called Tim for a bid and he came out same day and gave me an amazing price. With such precision he was able to climb the tree that is right next to a busy road and surrounded by my fence and take it down without endangering anyone and absolutely no damage done to my fence as well. The wind really kicked up last week and we have a lot of tall conifers that have never been top sailed. I called a number of services; they were here the next day, (Friday), gave me an estimate and the reasoning for it. They started on Monday, got all the trimming done, but the truck was full of chips. Came back Tuesday, were done before lunch, cleaned up. As a bonus, their chipper is much quieter than any I have ever seen, I was able to concentrate on my work.

We are just moving in, this really adds a lot of light to the yard, could not be happier.

This is my 3rd time using Veteran Tree Service. The first time Tim came out to finish a job of removing stumps that another service ghosted me after a 3 week run around. He was out within the week with a better price. Time has also removed some trees on my property. The work was done professionally and with great attention to detail. Today Tim removed two stumps. Cleaned up meticulously and did a great job. Again a fair price, but the best thing is how Tim is just a professional in communication and being on the job site when he says he will be.
