Badillo Landscaping did a great job on our back yard. My wife and I had a plan but Hugo enhanced that plan as we went and the end result is very pleasing and functional. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a landscaper. Their workers were very considerate and worked hard.

I cannot recommend Badillo landscaping enough. He not only gave us a great price for a lot of work but he brought my grandparents to tears over the transformation he did to their front and backyard. He went above and beyond all expectation. My family is so grateful for Badillo landscaping and will be using and recommending them for a years to come.

My husband and I can't recommend Badillo Landscaping enough! They did an incredible job and were extremely professional throughout the entire process. Our yard was previously covered with small rocks, and we weren't sure how to improve it. Their creative ideas transformed the space, and we absolutely love the results!

Badillo Landscaping did an excellent job! Hugo is a talented businessman with a keen eye for design. We conveyed our ideas and he took care of the rest. His team delivered a 5-star service and their work is highly commendable.

Update: Have to lower my rating on this review about a month later due to some issues.

So after they sealed the patio we noticed it was not sealed properly and the sand between the pavers was loose and coming out.

At first glance everything looked great, but when you take a really good look you can see some of the pavers were cut incorrectly and don’t line up well.
Some pavers along the edge are already starting to loosen.

We contacted Hugo about our concerns and asked if he can come see what we had issues with so he can see if he can do anything to fix it. Hugo is a horrible communicator and sometimes does not respond to our messages. When he does, he says that he will come by and never does. At first he was great to work with but I see now that was just to get our business. After that, not a very good business person.

Had an amazing experience with Badillo landscaping. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my backyard and I had heard many great things about this company from my neighbors. Had a great consultation with Hugo where he came up with a plan. He was super knowledgeable and was very transparent in the process and best way to invest into this project. The work went very quickly! Everyone was super communicative and tidy, and now my backyard is like an oasis. Will definitely use Badillo for all my landscaping needs, and you should too!

Hugo and the team at Badillo Landscaping went above and beyond! They nailed exactly what we were looking to get done and did it very quickly. The price was reasonable as well.

The team even did extras without us asking, like pressure washing our back patio and our entire driveway, de-weeding our front mulch area, and even leveling out our side access to our backyard since it’s on a slant.

We will 100% be using Badillo for our next landscaping needs!

I can't say enough good things about Hugo and his team. We hired Badillo Landscaping to install a retaining wall, sod, sprinklers, fix our broken driveway and put in a paver patio / fire pit in our back yard - everything they did looks amazing! We had 2 other quotes from other landscapers, and Hugo was able to offer much more at a fair price. He is a man of his word and I trusted him when he told me he was going to make our yard look beautiful - I couldn't be happier with the results. All my friends and neighbors want to hire him! My driveway is so nice now I almost hate parking on it!

Hugo and his team did an excellent job transforming our dirt backyard into a peaceful low maintenance/safe oasis. We moved to a 55+ community in Lacey WA from our previous home of 45+ years. We are in our 70s and wanted the design to allow for even safe footing and wheel chair accessibility “if” the situation arises. Hugo transported several large container planters with mature shrubs from our previous home and delivered them to our new home to be incorporated into the landscape; he laid a lovely paver patio for us and arranged for the concrete sidewalks and patio extension to be poured around both sides of our home. Hugo and his team also installed a small section of beautiful artificial turf, built two small flower beds using paver stones, installed a drip system to water the plants using a timer, and did several in ground planting of additional shrubs and perennial flowers. Hugo and his team were always respectful of us, our property, our somewhat tight landscaping budget, and readily pivoted on the design as needed. From start to finish he completed our project within 6 business days. We are pleased with the finished project and highly recommend Badillo Landscaping. We have received several inquiries from our neighbors asking to see our backyard and wanting to know who transformed it. We readily share Hugo’s contact information and allow neighbors looking to hire a landscaper see the “quality”work he did for us.

Superior Work! As Veterans, we value quality service, integrity in a company’s promise, and man’s word in business. Hugo with Badillo Landscaping delivered in every way. This was our experience. We were looking for a local company to renovate our yard here in Lacey, WA earlier this Summer. A friend of ours recommended Badillo Landscaping after his neighbor hired Hugo for their property renovation in Steilacoom, WA. We wanted a functional backyard that could be used year-round, and Hugo paid close attention to our vision and needs in how we wanted to spend time in our backyard during the initial consultation. It did not take a long to see why he is referred as “The Artist” in his profession. Hugo was meticulous in every detail with our project and his workers were professional and efficient in every step. His company came through with their promise to complete a quality job within the proposed timeline, and there were a couple of late nights to ensure the job was going to be complete on time before our Granddaughter’s first birthday. My yard never looked better with a great functional space and beautiful design. Our yard is now the ideal place for family time and the preferred place for our Veteran group for cookouts. We recommend Badillo Landscaping.

I’ve got to give a huge shoutout to our Hugo and Badillo Landscaping —he’s seriously amazing. We handed him this half-baked idea of what we wanted for our backyard, not even sure ourselves what the endgame was, and he turned it into something unreal. It’s like he saw our dream before we did and made it come to life, way better than we could’ve pictured.

He’s such a down-to-earth guy—super humble and thoughtful—and you can tell he really cares. He sat with us, listened, and worked hard to keep costs down without skimping on what mattered to us. It felt like he was in it with us, not just doing a job. Now our backyard’s this perfect little escape, our own oasis, and it’s all because of him. If you want someone who’ll go the extra mile and make it personal, he’s your person. We’re so thankful we found him!

I would say this was a journey, but it was over before I would have ever thought possible! I received bids and ideas from numerous companies but the one that stood out was Badillo Landscaping! The owner, Hugo, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I gave him an idea and explained that landscaping is totally out of my wheel house and that I I trust his expertise and boy did it pay off! His crew knocked this project out of the park and his team truly cares about perfection. Hands down best decision I could have made!

You owe it to yourself to speak to Hugo at Badillo Landscaping! Hugo helped bring our landscape vision to life with his creative ideas on both the front and backyard patios, the amazing sidewalk, natural rock planters and planter boxes around the front and back decks. He listens to what you want and provides ideas to enhance the beauty of your yard. You won’t be disappointed in his work. His crew was incredible to work with. He also completed the cement work on our expanded parking area.

A big thank you to Hugo and his crew at Badillo Landscaping. They came in and removed shrubs, grass and gravel and completely transformed our back yard. We had them put aggregate down the sides of the house, extend the covered patio and poured a new modern concrete patio in the back. They also put nice brick edging around the patio with lighting incorporated in it. A small area with turf was also put in with a light showcasing that too. Our flower beds have a drip system in place with a timer so we can set it and forget it. We wanted a simple design with minimal upkeep and I think we achieved that. Hugo is friendly and has a ton of ideas and is more than willing to show you his previous work. He will work with you to achieve whatever landscape design you have in mind. It took two weeks to complete the work for us. Don’t hesitate to call him, he was great to work with.
