We really like this company. Use them for irrigation services, aeration, and most recently, a complete flower bed landscape redesign on our lot. The team is amazing to work with, attentive to detail and safety, and ensured their work was accurate to the design throughout the project. The landscape consultant ensured our needs and preferences were heard, including recommending plants that will alternate color though all seasons. I am very happy with Mint Landscape.

We are so happy that we chose Mint Landscapes for our lawn project. I contacted them through their website and heard back immediately to set up a time for the proposal. Josh came out quickly and gave us suggestions for how we could repair our lawn while also adding in some landscaping. He broke the proposal down so that we could pick and choose what exactly we wanted to have done.
Josh was able to get us on the schedule quickly, and our project took about four days to complete. The two gentleman that came to work were AMAZING! They were so friendly, knowledgable, and did high quality work. I was able to ask them questions as needed.
As far as the work that was done, I am impressed at the transformation of our yard!
I would use them again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have a recently completed a backyard makeover with Mint Landscapes. Honestly there are not enough positive words to describe my experience with Josh and his crew, and the final result.

My project involved removal of grass, groundcover, transplanting a tree and bushes, and dealing with drainage issues that had become obnoxious pools of mud and stagnant water. Josh and I worked together to arrive at a design that would not only meet my needs, but also be quite beautiful.

Throughout the project Josh stayed in daily contact with me to make certain I was happy and make alterations as needed. An excellent example of this was something as simple as the type of mulch to use. Because I have big dogs, the original mulch I wanted wasn't going to hold up well or stay clean with big dogs running around. I had never thought there might be other options! Josh suggested a small nugget mulch that actually stays in place very well, and won't break down as quickly. It's also beautiful.

Josh's team are amazing professionals who were consistently considerate, on time, and left my yard clean every day. They also made sure the gate was closed when they left for lunch and at the end of the day. This was much appreciated for the safety of my dogs.

My backyard is now a beautiful, calm, and lovely place to spend time. The final cost of the project was to the penny what the estimated cost was projected. There were no hidden costs or substitution of less expensive plants that other landscapers try to sneak through. In fact little things like removing weeds and leveling platforms for my garden hose rack were just done out of consideration. I highly recommend Mint Landscapes for any project. I will continue using Mint Landscapes for my yard's annual maintenance.

Josh and the guys from Mint were great to work with! Anytime we had a question, they were happy to answer and came across as extremely knowledgeable. They are professional and pleasant. I met with Josh not long ago to have an estimate on reviving our backyard. Josh was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable right off the bat. He measured my yard, took soil samples and I felt like he really listened when we discussed my needs, which was a vast improvement over the estimate I had gotten previously from a larger local company. When the estimate came in, we felt that the cost was very fair for the work that needs to be done.

While Josh was here and we were talking, he asked me if I had heard of Project Evergreen. I hadn't, and he explained that it's a program where volunteers care for the lawns of deployed service members and disabled veterans. We are an Army family and I was touched by this organization. My husband is away quite a bit and when Josh learned this, he told me that Mint Landscapes would be taking care of my yard for the next few months. I was flabbergasted! His crew has come twice now and they are quick, courteous and incredibly professional. Mowing the lawn can seem like such a menial task, but when you've got two little kids and a spouse who isn't home...it's a weight off of my shoulders and a huge help. The team at Mint are truly blessings and I'm beyond grateful for their generosity. I look forward to continuing to use them for our lawn and landscape needs!!

We had Mint Landscapes design and execute a complete landscaping plan for our new home, including initial layout and sketches, installation of an automated irrigation system, addition of soil, mulch, trees and shrubs, and laying down sod. Josh McCarty and his entire team were great to work with, kept us informed all the way through the project, and finished the project on time and on budget. If you want a company that has extensive knowledge about every area that they offer, Mint Landscapes, LLC is the right company to call. I had a complicated landscaping job that involved two years of working closely with the City of Lacey for complicated specifications and requirements. Josh was unbelievably patient in providing multiple complicated quotes as the specifications were repeatedly changed on him. We could not break ground until two years after the first visit. He was personable and professional and his team all had the same personal rapport. They go out of their way to make sure that you are happy with the job. The product knowledge is unbelievable and they will recommend the best product based on your needs, instead of what is easiest for the crew. The Mint Landscapes team is reliable, timely and a great with communication. This was not just landscaping. There were several aspects of the job that were way beyond landscaping alone. Mint Landscapes handled every step with stride and did an outstanding job. I am so happy I chose them for the job!

I recently hired Mint Landscapes to tear down a failing deck and replace it with a patio in a small, open yard. Mint provided me with several options that included lovely pavers, seating walls, planting areas and beautiful landscape lighting. The design and sketches provided by their landscape professional were exciting and creative. Price points varied around building materials and all were reasonable to the scale of the project. The tear down was efficient and tidy. It was amazing to watch the patio project emerge. The Mint crew was highly skilled, reliable, always very respectful of my and neighbors’ property and a delight to interact with. Hired Mint Landscape to install our front yard irrigation system. Josh’s crew were extremely efficient with installing the irrigation system and went above and beyond to keep the job site clean and safe. Extra touch of seeding the irrigation trenches afterwards.

I love working with Mint! I have used Mint for 3 projects over the last 8 months: lawn rehab, turf removal and flower bed installation, and sprinkler installation. Josh and all his crew members are great to work with. Super timely, excellent attention to detail, and very patient with all my questions. Plus, you barely know his team is around and it is not disruptive to your life to have them doing work. I will use them for all my landscaping needs and highly recommend them.

Our HOA uses MINT for the neighborhood landscaping services, and I have to say, these folks are the hardest working and most considerate and dedicated people ever! I appreciate their attention to detail and ability to accommodate preference and need. Today, I saw a couple of gentlemen trimming a neighbor's bush, and I asked them if they'd be willing to cut a hedge back enough that I could open my backyard gate without interference. Without any hesitation or resistance, they came down to my house with their tools in hand and took care of it right away without delay. I am so thrilled and beyond grateful for their service, and I just wanted to show my appreciation for their hard work and extra efforts. Keep up the great job and superior customer service! Mint recently came out to tackle a backyard that wouldn't drain correctly and a nearly destroyed lawn - while installing sprinklers in the front and back. Devin, Jaime, and Jose worked diligently and went the extra mile every step of the way to ensure the project was completed to our satisfaction - including extra little things here and there to make the presentation of the lawn perfect. Great communication and the job was done well - highly recommend considering Mint!

Mint has been wonderful to work with from start to finish! We had a vague idea of what we wanted, and changed our minds several times during the planning process. Erin developed a beautiful design for a paver pathway and a redesign of the boundaries of our grass. Her expertise is clear and our backyard is much more beautiful thanks to her thoughtful design after listening to our very loose ideas. Josh was so kind and accommodating, never making us feel like a burden for asking clarifying questions along the way. These qualities carried through the entire project including with the install crew, Devin and Austin, who were great to work with. They communicated with us every day, answered any questions kindly, and were just easy to talk to and fun to be around. They also obviously really care about the work they do. There are so many examples, but one that stood out is that they left a sleeve to easily pull through electrical if I wanted to add lighting along the pathway later. So thoughtful! We’ve done many home improvement projects over the years with several contractors and have *never* had such an easy experience. We already have a spring project planned with Mint and have recommended them to other neighbors looking to do a similar project!

Based on a referral from a reputable source, I chose Mint Landscapes to replace 4 lawn sprinkler valves and remove auto drains due to a leak in the main water line. Repair necessitated the entire replacement of the 4 valves and associated PVC plumbing. I was very fortunate to have Chuck B. assigned to the task. Chuck demonstrated an extraordinary skill to completely rebuild the intricate arrangement of PVC connections located in a confined space (see attached photo). The project required tremendous patience to overcome challenges encountered during the repair. Chuck met each of those challenges by applying his extensive knowledge and job experience. I had the pleasure of witnessing Chuck's work during portions of the project and developed the utmost confidence in his ability to achieve a successful test of the completed repair. Mint Landscapes AND Chuck B. earned my 5 Star rating. I encourage anyone to give this company and its employees your first call to get an estimate for needed service. They'll earn your 5 Star rating too!

Tyler was very knowledgeable and quick to make the repair. My only comment is that he originally posted a 9:30 show, then updated that show time at least 4 times to finally show after 3:00 pm. Also, when I called in this repair it took at least 4 hours for the online + phone service people to find my contract and make appointment! A one star for that end of the Repair Dept.- granted, "your computers were down" Thanks

Greg, Sears repair man, was the only one who sincerely was concerned and tried to help us in a 3 month ordeal trying to get our range repaired. He gets 5 stars. You're phone systems and communication get 0 stars and are more than lacking in customer service one of the worst I've ever dealt with. We got the run around for 3 months. Very unprofessional. You need at least one phone number where people can talk to a real person without waiting for an hour and didn't know anything.

Tyler was the technician for the Sears Repair Dept. He was great, worked quickly, accurate, got me running in 10 minutes. If you ever need their help, ask for Tyler to get the BEST service ever!
