I hired Ryan initially to install 3 Ethernet panels but he made a smart suggestion that actually saved me money by reducing the number of panels I needed. He completed all the work within the time frame he initially quoted. And the work was perfect, exactly what I needed. I will definitely hire him again the next time I need electrical work.

We've had Ryan out to our house three times now and he's been great every time.

First job was toe-kick lighting in our bathroom. He worked it into the existing switch panel, got it done fast, and it came out perfect. The second time we needed an outlet moved for our fridge which he quickly took care of quickly and we had no trouble getting the fridge installed. The third time he installed our kitchen pendant lights which ended up having a more complicated electrical setup.

Also worth mentioning — we had a project that was going to involve some construction and required additional equipment. He was honest about not having the equipment to do it safely and gave us recommendations instead. That kind of thing matters and it's why we keep calling him back.

Would definitely recommend.

Ryan came out to diagnose an issue with the breaker for the washer. In the process of fixing the breaker, he discovered a loose wiring to a smoke/CO detector. He fixed the breaker and the wiring, then ran out to the store to get a new detector and installed the new unit for us as well. We very much appreciated Ryan’s professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile for customers. We would use Mallard again. Thanks, Ryan.

Ryan has been my electrician for over a decade working on many of my remodels, flips, and multi-family projects. Recently needed an electrician to add can lighting and knew exactly who to call! Happy to find out he started his own company!

We love it when we find a vendor that is a keeper! Had an urgent issue where our kitchen appliances, including our refrigerator, kept turning off but could not be resolved anymore by simply flipping un-tripped circuit breakers - Ryan was able to come on short notice, and found multiple panel issues with wires having been over-tightened from previous vendors causing both arcing and poor current (and possible extra GFCI trippings).

Clearly a master electrician, he was able to clearly explain our various issues all while easily repairing mashed wires ends, lengthening & connecting as needed, & unfurling overly taut wires, immediately solving the problem, and it looked like likely many future ones - couldn't be happier! Ryan did the electrical work for our garage conversion to living space. We cannot speak highly enough of him and his work, which included upgrading our panel and installing an EV circuit, a new dryer circuit and new wiring, lighting and outlets throughout the conversion. Ryan’s rates were extremely reasonable and his work of the highest quality. He let us know our options without ever upselling us on any extras. He is honest and reliable, and he also stands out as an excellent and prompt communicator. He listened carefully to our plan and had really helpful recommendations for changes that would make our lives easier (e.g., to stay compliant with local code, and for best functional use of the space). He was also really great at coordinating with LNI and helping us interface with the public utility district. Ryan is fantastic - a gem, even!- and I highly recommend him for anyone looking for top quality electrical work!

Ryan is very knowledgeable, which shows in his work, and when providing advice. He took the time to help me customize the house lighting to accommodate how I use it. He installed recessed can lights, dimmers, timers, and wireless 3-way switches. He is professional and tidy. He provided multiple budget conscious options, and didn’t try to up-sell me. He addressed multiple electrical issues that came with the house. He replaced the main panel, and added a sub-panel for future expansion and a car charger.
