We had Kanon install a new circuit breaker, whole house surge protector, etc. Jason and Julian were very knowledgeable, helpful and very considerate with the care of our entire home. They showed up on time and stayed late to make sure our power was back on. In fact, we are having Kanon do some extra work and are requesting both Jason and Julian to do the work. It was a pleasure dealing with them and a company they were both proud to represent. We would not hesitate to recommend Kanon to our friends. I had a great experience with Kanon Electric getting my electrical panel completely replaced. I was recommended to them by my uncle who used them in his panel replacement, and after reading the reviews from others, I was sold! I emailed the company and received a quick call back from Anne and setup the appointment. Louis and AJ came the next day and assessed my box which was definitely a hazard as it was sparking and lights were flashing like poltergeist. They explained to me my options in services. The next day AJ and John came to fix my panel the day and did a great job! AJ showed up right on time with John to get the job started. They were very thorough in the work and explained everything very well! Thank you again, Kanon Electric! Especially to AJ who was very personable and friendly throughout the process. I would definitely recommend these guys to do your next electrical project of any size! I am very confident in the work and warranty with annual checkups. What a great company and experience!

I have used Kanon Electric for several projects including: new septic install, running electricity to a detached garage and installing a temp power pole for a new house build. Each project has been fairly assessed and the estimate is clearly outlined with a few options ranging from the most indepth to a pared down version. This has allowed me to see what price and level of service I need. In addition, they offer a service membership that saves you 15%, reduces the base service visit fee, gives you priority scheduling and a free yearly safety inspection. The cost of your project can actually completely offset the membership fee once they apply the 15% discount.

Their prices are not the cheapest and not the most expensive and the quality of their work is well worth every penny. For my garage project, their estimate came in at the same price as another company but the other company was only adding a new line to a J box on the exterior of my house. Kanon ran the line all the way to my garage, installed the panel and ran outlets and switches in my garage and attached shed as well as an exterior outlet at the j box on the exterior of my house. Quite a difference in service.

The Kanon customer service and scheduling team are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and are able to interpret my lay man description of problems or the service I need. They answer each call with "How can I make you smile today?" and guess what they always do.

I have had two different teams of technicians at my house, each team is a licensed electrician and apprentice. They are all professional, knowledgeable and kind. Each project has required more than one visit and if they can't finish that day or need supplies that are not on the truck they come back within days to finish with no additional service visit fee. I felt very comfortable having these folks in my house, around my young children and even leaving and asking them to lock up the house when they finished inside. They leave your spaces neat and cleaned up and even patched my sheet rock when they finished one project in my ceiling. I've also asked them tons of questions and they are happy to answer and are not at all patronizing. They've even helped clarify some minor repairs that my husband was planning to do and given us a clear line where a DIY project requires a pro or permit.

While here on my temp power pole project, I had a PSE tech come to look at some concerns Kanon had with my meter and power line. They happily jumped in to talk with PSE without their existing project suffering any delay. And most importantly they had the necessary parts to make a repair that PSE agreed was needed. That was a huge relief.

2 years down the line from my septic and garage line install I have had no problems with any of their work. I don't anticipate any future issues with my most recent project either. I fully plan on using Kanon Electric for all my future electrical needs and cannot recommend them enough. You should absolutely call these folks and get an estimate on any project big or small. I'd give them 10 stars if possible.

I needed two outdoor flood lights installed. The scheduler on the phone told me they should be able to get these installed within the basic charge of $100, only for the electrician to come in and give me a bill of $6,000 for two outdoor lights! I was easily out of $100. Be careful and be ready to pay if you choose this company

We had a new panel and several smaller jobs done by Kanon. Ethan, Justin and crew were professional, efficient and always pleasant. Their standard of work is outstanding and everything is explained clearly and completely. Options and priorities are presented, with no feeling of pressure. A very professional business I would recommend for any electrical work.

We can’t say enough good things about Kanon. My husband and I just moved into a new home in Tacoma that was built in 1908 and needed a lot of electrical updates, which ended up being a lot more involved than initially anticipated. They also worked closely with the company putting in our HVAC, which also was more complex than we had planned for. They did excellent work, gave us fair quotes and options for each job that needed to be done, and communicated very clearly. Despite several complications along the way, we always felt like Kanon was honest with us and did outstanding work. Every person on every crew that came out was amazing but special shout out to Ethan who was absolutely wonderful and so patient with all of our many questions and made amazing recommendations for our home. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We will, no question, be calling Kanon in the future when we are doing more home improvements that need electrical work. Thank you so much!

I have had two great experiences with Kanon Electric, first with John who came out to troubleshoot a problem I had with my bedroom lights not working (needed a new switch). He tracked down the problem, made the repair and then referred me to a lamp repair specialist for the needed repairs to the lights themselves. Very pleased with his work and the person he rec'd me to (A1 Lamp and Lighting Repair).

A few weeks later I got on Kanon's books for the installation of a whole home surge protector (wired into electrical panel). Matt and Julian did a great job as well. Very professional, super polite, and pretty quick (took maybe only an hr from start to finish). Matt explained the process for warranty and registration and left me the paperwork needed to complete.

Everyone I have ever worked with at Kanon Electric, from reception/scheduling to installation and payment has been kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

I have had Kanon Electric out to my home several times over years to do some upgrades and fix problems. Each time Kanon has provided us with great service. We just had them replace the electric panel in our home and I couldn’t be happier. My initial appointment Justin was great. He reviewed various options with me to make sure I got the best solution. He ensured we got the permits and coordinated with PSE. The technicians who came to install the electrical panel, Solomon, Anthony, John and Jillian arrived on time, were very courteous, and worked hard to get all of the work completed in a very timely manner. They took time to explain the details of the new panel and even wiped down my garage floor so it was cleaner than when they arrived! I also appreciate that Kanon stands behind their work and will come out asap if there are any issues. Kanon will continue to be my go to when I need any electrical work done.

I'd give Kanon Electric 6🌟s, if possible. Amazing responsiveness, able to show up "next day" in our time of need, impressive work quality and first class customer service. While having a patio cover built, we needed electrical work for sconces and a main light. Nick, the lead Electrician for our project, is awesome. Nick's tenacity to ensure total customer satisfaction and meticulous attention to detail are much appreciated. While the electrician did a very detailed job in providing us with a quote for the work we requested, I was not informed prior that there was a cost to providing us with an estimate. Usually there isn’t and I have no problem compensating someone for their time; I wish this was made clear to me prior to our appointment.

Additionally, in my invoice there was a bible verse. “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you. Psalm 55:22”
I have no issues with your religious views but that doesn’t seem professional, just my opinion.

Jeremy and his crew showed up on time, were courteous, and explained our options in detail once we told them what we wanted. Overhead kitchen cabinet lighting was installed along with a whole house surge protector at the panel. They cleaned everything up when finished all on the same day. Even had some materials brought to the job they needed so they didn't have to go get them which would have increased their time.

Bryan was awesome - knowledgeable, detail oriented, great communicator, and professional - ensured I was 100% satisfied with all aspects of Team Kanon’s installation and service.

We were having an issue with a breaker switching off and were assuming a short somewhere. Dennis found problems with two very old electrical outlets that needed replacing. Friendly, courteous service. And, problem solved. Thanks Dennis.

Grant was great, as is everyone we have worked with at Kanon Electric. They can be counted on to be on time and to do the job correctly the first time. The slightly high cost is balanced by their high quality of work. We will work with them again in the future.

My only small note is feedback would be that I personally do not like mixing religion with your business and am not interested in receiving Bible quotes on every email or invoice. I work with Kanon despite this, not because of it.

I am extremely impressed with Kanon Electric. Everyone was very professional and prompt. They did what they said they were going to do, and did an excellent job. Justin assembled and installed four outdoor lights for me. It wasn’t easy but he got the job done in spite of some trim being in the way. I can’t even tell he had to take it off and put it back on. I could not be happier with the end result. Justin was the nicest person I’ve met in a long time. It was a pleasure to have him work here at my home. I am definitely recommending Kanon Electric to my friends and family. I’m looking around the house for other things for them to do! I can’t say enough good things.

32 year old electrical panel replaced, we got 3 estimates for panel and also add ceiling light. Although Kanon wasn’t the least expensive they did match a lower price, we were very impressed by all of the technicians they were very professional and explained all the steps of the process precisely. The day of our install a big wind storm was predicted l called them and they sent extra people to get the job done before the storm hit. New panel has surge protection and we feel safer. Very satisfied with Kanon and their people. They also labeled all the fuses!
