Reviews of local pros in Monroe, Washington

Urrutia's Landscaping removed an old, decaying railroad tie retaining wall, and built a beautiful replacement block retaining wall. Jurgen, Jose and the rest of the crew are some of the most professional people I have ever worked with. I requested quotes using four different materials. Not once was I made to feel like this request was a bother. Their pricing is fair, better than fair when you take into account the quality of the workmanship. The communication with me was outstanding. The work was meticulous. I cannot stop admiring the new wall! Do yourself a favor and reach out to this company. You will not be disappointed.

Great local family business. Always timely, competitive pricing, and quality work. I have done multiple projects with Urritia's Landscaping including: Full yard makeover, lawn levelling, sod install, removal and addition of trees/bushes/plants, yard cleanup/bark projects, sprinkler/irrigation repairs, aeration, dethatching, & over seeding. No job is too big or small.

Jurgen and his team did an outstanding job building a nice retaining wall in our backyard and fixing the lawn. His quote was reasonably priced and the work was delivered on time as promised, with great workmanship and quality. I would highly recommend Urrutia's Landscaping to anyone.

Our family had an absolutely perfect experience using Urrutia's Landscaping. Jurgen, Jose and the rest of their team worked quickly and efficiently to transform our front and back yards into neat and clean spaces that we could enjoy. They provide great value for their price. I would recommend them to anyone.

Jurgen and his crew mowed, thatched, fertilized, and overseeded about 1/2 acre of lawn. It was a 2 day job due to the large amount of moss removed. I appreciated his responsiveness and professionalism from providing an estimate to completing the project. They did a very thorough job and even mowed again after thatching to clean up the remaining debris before sowing seed. With warmer weather forecasted soon we are looking forward to seeing the seed germinate and return to a healthier lawn. I highly recommend Urrutia's Landscaping!

Jurgen and crew have done many jobs for my sister in Everett! I had them remove sod in three large areas and put down weed cloth and rock. They did an amazing Job!! Would use them again and again. They are worth the wait if they are busy.

We absolutely loved our experience working with Urrutia Landscaping! They did such an incredible patio and grass sod lawn for us. Everyone was so friendly and they did our entire yard so quickly and beautifully. 10/10 would recommend!

I had a retaining wall, patio and sod installed. The attention to detail was on point! Professional, honest, friendly and fast. I couldn't be happier with the results. I'll have a backyard I'll be able to enjoy for many years. A wonderful family to work with. I highly recommend Urrutia's Landscaping!

Urrutia's Landscaping was fantastic to work with for our backyard hardscaping project. They were very responsive, knowledgeable and always on time. Jurgen and team helped us with the design and built it for a fair price. They will by my first choice for any future projects and I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

Urrutia's Landscaping is amazing. Our backyard was only dirt and they transformed it! They are diligent, hardworking and very professional. Their prices are competitive without sacrificing quality. They are highly recommended.

Very happy to have worked with Urrutia's Landscaping to improve the front yard of my business! From start to finish, Jurgen was very responsive and listened to all of my concerns. The price estimate was detailed and reasonable. I initially had dirt, lava rock, and large hedges along the walkway. I wanted to replace with something more modern, esthetic, and low maintenance. Urrutia's Landscaping certainly delivered with their design of river rock and hardy plants that do not require watering or maintenance. The photos are of the landscaping 1 year later. I'm very happy with the result and would highly recommend!

Jurgen of Urrutia's Landscaping is our go-to person for all outdoor projects. He's freshened up our retaining wall area when it gets overrun with weeds and leaves, planted arborvitae in a custom-built planter box when we wanted more privacy, installed a gate, swapped out a plant that was a hassle to maintain for a beautiful red Japanese maple — the list goes on and on. For my arborvitae privacy project, I'd started a spreadsheet and contacted nearly 10 companies for quotes, but inevitably, I came right back to Jurgen who created something tailored to our needs for the most fair price around. After years of trying other services around town, we got tired of other companies' high bids and flakiness. We will continue to use Jurgen and his company for all of our outdoor projects, and can't recommend them highly enough.

We had Urrutia's Landscaping do a total rehab on our backyard as it was new construction and the builder did not do a good job. Jurgen and his brother Jose came out several times as the job evolved and they ended up helping us design landscaping throughout including new top soil, sod, rock landscaping, some trees and plants, a fire pit area, and a walkway to the fire pit. They exceeded our expectation and we love it and now have our own backyard oasis. I have included some pictures but they do not do it justice as it does in person. I normally do not do online reviews but wanted to in this case as I wanted to share the wonderful experience throughout the entire process and even after the work was done they have been following up and stopped by to see how the sod is doing which we really appreciate. They are a small family owned local business and care about their work and it shows in the attention to detail. If you are looking to have any landscaping done give them a call you will not be disappointed. Also, we felt they were affordable as well. Thank you Urritia's Landscaping we love love love our backyard and so does our dog good boy Henry.

I had a great experience working with Urrutia. They worked quickly and efficiently to transform my front and backyard into clean and beautiful space we can enjoy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping help.
