Very happy with Mr. Electric. I had a GFCI outlet pop and wouldn't reset. I filled out the contact form on the website in the evening and they called me first thing in the morning. They worked around my schedule for the day and got an electrician (James) out to my home the same day. He put everything right quickly and even gave me a little lesson in how the outlets work. Will use them again and recommend.

The timely service from Mr. Electric (the electrician James and office assistant Josy) was excellent. James did a wonderful job diagnosing our problem and repairing it. He was thorough and very clearly explained what had occurred and what was needed for the repair. He suggested possible future improvements to our old electrical system. We would highly recommend Mr. Electric for your electrical needs.

Gary Pliler from Mr. Electric responded quickly to our call for our malfunctioning fire alarm system. He identified the issue (end of life devices) and explained thoroughly what are options were. He did a safety check, and returned the next day to install nine new 10 year devices. (And, restored our sanity because the continuous beeping drove us crazy!) Highly recommend Mr. Electric for prompt, professional service (another company, unReliable Electric, didn’t even return our call). Ask for Gary Pliler at Mr. Electric for expert electrical fixes. And, a shout out to Josie for excellent customer service!

Mr. Electric saved the day again. They have completely re-wired my entire home and garage, replacing old knob and tube with updated wires. Everything is to code and safe for my family. The lights I had them put in were delicate and all different, they didn’t mind at all. Fernando went above and beyond, even moving existing fixtures and being very considerate when installing them. You would not believe it but Mr. Electric’s crew did NO damage to my house. Their cuts were precise and they fed all the wires through the walls without ruining a single sheet of drywall. They replaced all the electrical in my home without even scratching the paint. Thank you thank you thank you.

Very professional, on time, work done as stated and I would call them again. James did the work along with Gary's help. Our job took two days and in many different areas of the house, I'm happy to say it's complete and the site was cleaned to better than expected. Thank you James and Jody for your help.

I highly recommend James from Mr. Electric. He was prompt, courteous, efficient, considerate of our property, and knowledgeable. He was able to fix our circut breaker issue when two other electricians could not. I appreciate that he gave us clear options and estimates for possible solutions. I also appreciate that Josie, from their office, made a prompt follow-up call to make sure we were satisfied with the work. The whole experience made me feel like family. Needed some bad work under a previous owner cleaned up. James and Bryndon were fast and professional, even sticking to the quote when additional work was necessary.

Can't say enough great things about Gary and Josy! Josy was beyond helpful and made sure we got someone out ASAP. Gary helped diagnose the bigger problem and is getting us the information to have a permanent fix! He was fantastic to work with and didn't make me feel bad for not knowing anything about what we were looking at when walking through the problems. Josy and Zachary were amazing in setting us up for same day service to fix our smoke and CO detectors. Gary Pliler was there in a few hours, explained our options and gave us enough time to explore what we wanted to do. We were then able to get Gary back very quickly to do the work, really excellent experience all the way around. The scheduling system at Mr Electric of Olympia is one of the best I’ve ever seen, follow through, follow up, and truly excellent work.

We had an extensive project that James and Carson completed over two days with a high degree of expertise and professionalism, with great customer service follow up by Josy.

My husband scheduled someone to come give us a quote. He no call/no showed even though my husband reached out many times day of. Looking at these reviews though, it seems like it’s for the best since it looks like they charge $97 just to give a quote.

Mr. Electric is a really great company. The reps and my electrician were very friendly and personable.

I’ve been using Mr. Electric for years. I recently moved into a new home and noticed many electrical issues that needed to be replaced like new outlets, chandelier, ceiling fan and ceiling lights installed.

Every time I had work scheduled, my electrician Ted would always arrive on time. Ted has been very friendly and would go out of his way to get the right parts for me whenever I make an impulse buy.

Other than the somewhat costly work and the odd text messages I receive after the work is complete, I highly recommend Mr. Electric for their prompt, friendly service!

Gary has done an incredible job for us. Over the last 40 years there have been several major renovations and the wiring was piggybacked and messed with each time. Gary was methodical in tracking the crazy wiring and, most importantly, solving a very complicated problem!

I need to edit my review because I want others to make informed decisions, especially concerning the wiring in their home. It ultimately took this company sending Gary out FOUR times to install fire alarms. When the fourth time came around and he once again had to leave and reschedule a fifth, I said enough. They finally sent in a supervisor who finished the job, to an extent. I say “to an extent” because now the plugs in that side of the home don’t have power to them. They said it has nothing to do with fire alarms and Gary wouldn’t have touched it but, being that there’s no power there following their departure, there is a connection to the work they’ve done, in whatever capacity that it is. Mr. electric claimed it’s my house or our fault but, they shouldn’t have accepted the job if it posed issues. So, I have another company coming out to fact-find.

Gary actually did a no-show the first time so I suppose it was six appointments in total to get the alarms installed and we’re left with a house without partial power… they charged us a couple grand for their work, too.

I’d also like to mention that I spoke to the supervisor about Gary twice and they still sent him over the second time. By the second conversation (4th appointment), they sent the supervisor. Gary discussed homeless encampments in his home, being attacked by rats and cats at his last assignment, losing his girlfriend from high school, his wife who died from cancer, like all sorts of heartbreaking, personal tragedies … spoke for 3 hrs on a 30 minute job… it was just so hard on us to hear about all of this. It was certainly not small talk. I now know about this man’s personal and professional life.

Anyway, these are only my experiences. It would seem others have had positive experiences with them so you’ll have to make your own judgement and determine what’s best for you.

Mr. Electric was great to work with. Josy's customer service was amazing and helped me get the earliest possible appointment for me and kept me in the loop when James was going to arrive. James is so professional and knowledgeable in his job. He explained everything to me, showed me how to easily do the job if I wanted to try in the future. He also talked to me about other projects I have in mind, gave me quotes and not once pressured me into anything.
