James Lowe provided exceptional service on a Span power box install. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He answered every question we had. We would give him more stars if possible and would recommend him to anyone needing a qualified electrician.

👊🏽James & Carson, Team J&C I called them were professional, provided great customer service and great time management! They came in assessed the situation and gave me the options and recommendations. While one started the work the other one got the units needed to be replaced. We replaced all 7 smokies as well as dual carbon monoxide units as well. It was also great that they arrived on the earlier end of the two hour window and the dispatcher kept me in the loop of their arrival 🌟 I know who to call in the future, no questions asked 💯
I definitely would have both back 👏🏽

I previously put 5 stars with a generic filler review for Gary because I felt bad and wanted him to get the $20 you guys pay him per 5 star review. That review could not be further from the truth though.

This job has had issue from the very first day. Originally supposed to only take 1 day to “maybe 1.5 days”. A subpanel next to main panel for 4x dedicated 20A/120V plus 1x 30A/240V circuits & outlets ran to two upstairs rooms. Plus 1x 50A 125V/250V Generator Inlet box on the outside wall of the panel. Plus Gary was supposed to pull 4 Ethernet cables from a spool I already had (just pull, cut the holes and put the box’s for them in, leaving them for me to terminate myself), he included that into the original job for free along with the 4th 20A/120V dedicated circuit run.

It has been 6 days, the job still isn’t finished. I will list off some but not all (there were too many mistake he had made during the process for me to type out) of the mistakes he made and were only corrected because I noticed them and double checked his work MYSELF when it wasn’t my job to do so.

First issue. Outdoor single piece of conduit took 5 of the 6 days he has worked on this to get put up cause he didn’t have the right caulking to seal conduit took the outter wall. That seal eventually was only actually finished (it would have been left with a seal if I had not pointed out that he missed it) because I had to tell him I was not okay with him leaving early for the 3rd day in a row when the next week of weather is supposed be rain. Rain was the issue he wasn’t able to get the caulking to dry (because of not using the correct sealant for the humidity/weather). So if he would have left before I noticed it hadn’t been done, I would have had water pouring into the conduit of the sub panel. Luckily I told him I would just call and have someone else come if he left cause I was tired of the job not being competed, but he did not want me to call cause he would be fired. That puts the guilt of him losing his job on the customer because the customer wants the job to be completed the way they paid. Not okay.

Second issue. He installed an OUTLET box for the generator INLET… I had to point that out as well and then had to do the research myself to figure out the correct plug that is supposed to be on a 50A 125V/250V Generator Inlet box and send him pictures of examples from listings of the correct thing being sold on Amazon.

Third issue. All 4x of the dedicated 20A 120V outlets were installed with 15A receptacles instead of the 20A receptacles that I had told him I would need for this job. I had to order those myself from Amazon and replace the two wrong ones he had already installed, with the correct one. A 20A UPS can not be plugged into a 15A receptacle.. all of these dedicated circuits will have a single UPS connected to each, pulling the max continuous load allowed (80%) for each circuit. He knew that from the very beginning.

Fourth issue. He pulled wire for and ordered a 4 prong 30A/240V outlet instead of a 3 prong NEMA L6-30R because he just assumed instead of asking me what the correct outlet was supposed to be. I had to also then supply that correct outlet cause he didn’t have the correct one.

Fifth issue. All of the outlets were not cut level either the rest on the walls. All of them are crooked and cut very badly and sloppy. He even started to cut into one of the studs in the wall by cutting out 3 sides of a hole for an outlet before realizing there was a stud in the way. All because he didn’t bother to use the stud finder he said he had (or the one I said I had upstairs already that he could use) before cutting into the wall. Now there is 3 sides of an outlet hole cut into the dry wall that needs to be patched somehow.

Drywall holding in another outlet was broken beyond repair and now since he put the rest of the outlets so close together, all of them will have to be removed and recut in order to patch the already existing coax outlet he broke the drywall around.

There are more, but hit review limit. Nice guy but horrible work.

The young electrician, Jacob, was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and professional. He answered any questions that my wife and I had and he completed 6 different small projects that needed to be squared away.

Very professional, and communicative electrician. Can tell the experience by relating a conversation as to where a 240 VAC plug should be placed on a wall based on the design of modern ranges. Intuitive! Josy, Brenden, James, and Zachary were my team. Great group of people that all row in the same direction!

James and Carson were absolutely amazing to work with.
I had can lights put in multiple rooms as well as under the cabinet lighting and ceiling fan replacements.

James is incredibly knowledgeable about electricity and explains things to you in a way that is understandable (laymens lingo). 10/10.

Carson, was dedicated to the project and wanted to finish so he could show me everything. Like when you get someone a gift and you wait to see them open the present for their expression. That was Carson. 10/10.

Thank you both for your service! 10/10 would reccomend!

Gary was very professional and helpful. Knowledgeable and was very good at explaining the details of the job that needed to be done and the barriers that were seen before the estimate was created. We felt comfortable with the amount of work expected to be done and the price was considerably lower than an alternate company that we had originally talked to. Thank you to Zachary and Gary for helping us get our situation figured out and before our impending deadline.

We called today because we had no power to our dishwasher, they were able to come out, diagnose and fix the problem within a couple hours. No hidden fees, everything was discussed before work was done. Carson the tech was very helpful, I would highly recommend.

Jacob was incredible! From the first visit and quote up to getting my entire electric panel replaced! Could not recommend enough if you need electric work done!

Carson was very professional, friendly, helpful and was able to completely upgrade my breaker box. I also needed a plug in dedicated to an in drawer microwave. Carson explained to me how he was going to install a dedicated plug for my new in drawer microwave.
The work was very professionally done and afterwards the area was completely cleaned.
I will and would use Mr Electric again.

Gary was an amazing help with so many insights and got our clinic running better with the new lighting fixtures and the ethernet drops. We have sought his services out twice so far and will be looking for him again if anything arises from here on in. Very kind and very knowledgeable. Great pricing and will give you options depending on the work you are wanting and suggestions for making it work better. Thank you Gary!!

Carson was dispatched to our home for some strange and unsettling electrical issues, he was prompt, courteous and highly through in his work. He answered our questions directly and was able to explain things in a way that was easier to understand. He and his team will be completing some work on our home next week, we are excited and happy we have Carson on the job!

Mr. Electric of Olympia and electrician James Love saved the day today, Christmas eve. This morning, our downdraft arc'd creating a pop and smoke from it's electrical outlet. After calls to 3 other companies who were unable to assist us today, Josie at Mr. Electric scheduled our service. In less than an hour, James was at our house. He provided a very reasonable quote for diagnostics and quickly got to work. James was able to identify our problem, what we needed to do to correct it, and provide assurance that our power was safe and ready to use minus the offending appliance. James was very personable, efficient, and took great care of our home. He was able to identify potential issues we should address, provide helpful information regarding what to look for with future remodels, and a timely quote should we wish to schedule an appointment to address the non-urgent issues. I highly recommend both James and Mr. Electric for any electrical needs you may have.

Manny and his associate were nothing but polite, capable, kind and informative. They expertly swept through the problems and let us know what we were dealing with. Manny went above and beyond to make sure we were fully informed in the problems we faced and needing fixing, in a fair and understanding way.
    Thank you.

Really is a Shocking Difference. Called to have a stage 2 EV plug installed. Prompt service, and very professional. Zeb did a great job explaining to me what they were doing and what was required to fullfil my request. They did a great job cleaning up everything and making sure I was happy with the service before they left.
