Plumbing reviews in Olympia, Washington
-
Dylan & Danny came out to assess a leaking shower and this might have been the easiest and most pleasant interaction with a plumber I've ever had. They were on-time, friendly, knowledgeable and we will absolutely be calling back when we're ready to have the plumbing work done.
This company is using technology to make the experience seamless in a really easy way, with easy online booking and thorough communication via SMS all the way along. Can't speak to the quality of the plumbing work yet, but if it is as well done as the initial visit and inspection, I'm confident we'll be in good hands at a reasonable price. -
This company's plumbing work seems fine but I would not reccomend hiring them for any work involving any sort of digging. They talked me into having them dig into my yard to install a sewer cleanout access, and in the process they caused significant damage to my landscaping which they now refuse to compensate me for.
My front yard consists of gravel and river rocks that I twice offered to move so they could access the dirt underneath for digging. They twice told me this was unnecessary and that they would move everything. They did not. They buried a large portion of my landscaping in dirt and, when filling the hole back in, simply mixed the gravel and rocks in.
When i complained, the company told me they wanted to make this right, but apparently that was only to allow their staff back onto my property. Instead I told them I wanted to fix the damage myself to ensure it was restored to the proper state, and I would reach out to discuss it when I was done. I spent about 5.5-6 hours on the restoration, digging up the whole area and separating rocks from dirt. I also had to go buy more gravel to replace what they buried.
At the end I asked OPT to refund me only $500 of more than $6,000 I paid them. They outright refused since I did the work myself instead of risking their staff failing to meet our expectations or potentially making it worse. So now I have to consider legal proceedings instead.
In short, don't let these guys dig on your property. Photos are of the condition the property was when they started (in other words how it is now that I've fixed it) versus how they left it -
Our technicians, Rafael and Garrett, were fantastic. They were very clear about what needed to happen for our tankless water heater service and talked through how to make our system work its best. It was easy to sign up for a membership plan knowing we would have this quality of service every year.

Nick was thorough and professional. He explained everything well and answered our questions completely. Due to the estimated cost to repair our water heater, and the fact that it’s warranty would expire in a year, we decided to purchase a new one and signed up for the Legend service, as well. All this was a LOT more than we expected to pay for what we were hoping would just be catching up on overdue maintenance, but we feel like we made that best decision for the long run. Nick was careful to make sure he was providing us with all options so we could make a decision and he lined up an electrician for us, as well. We’ll call upon Olympic Plumbing Technology and Nick the next time we need plumbing service.

Olympic Plumbing Technology was the best! From the time I called (late Friday afternoon) to having a tech in my driveway was less than an hour! Our tech Steven was great! Friendly, knowledgeable, quick, polite! Not enough good things to say about these guys! Will absolutely use them again, and tell anyone who asks me to use them too!

Rafael and Jake were awesome; professional, friendly, and did excellent work. They demoed lead/cast iron pipe then rerouted the drain lines. Also, they took out my water heater and installed a new one. Great people and outstanding work!

Excellent service experience, Corbin made it all easy❤️ Corbin was calm and assured me that he would have hot water back on soon, and he lived up to his promise. Corbins communication was exemplary, I never felt I was out of the loop even tho I couldn’t be insight.! I got a text and a call letting me know about 25 minutes out, a call after he had figured out the issues, and another call when the reconstruction was done.
We were really happy, my tenants were thrilled to have hot water and Inwas thankful that Corbin made was really top notch and very skilled. He was friendly, professional and an excellent reporter of the company. Sarah was also superb to work with scheduling, and so patient -I was really under the gun getting this on the books and fixed.! -
We had our water main replaced because it was leaking, they gave us a very high quote, about double the top range of what Google said it would cost per foot.
Their quote said they would put everything back similar to how it was prior to the work, they did not do that. The driveway never used to have drainage and puddle issues, now it has one big puddle and little puddles everywhere.
Also they didn't even bother to inset the stepping stones at all, they were just put on top all lop sided. The access hatch for the shit-off valve is 3-4" below the surrounding grade so it will get covered over time if left how it is.
Overall I expected a high quality job for spending around $12k, but it was very sloppy. They called to ask how they did and I gave them this feedback and they sent someone out to supposedly fix it, but it looks exactly the same.
I didn't leave 1 star because they fixed the leak and did it relatively quickly.
Update: They are fixing the depressed valve box. There was a miscomminucation about putting everything back to how it was, apparently the contract is only for a rough bacfill. Updated the review to 3 stars. -
Robby is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I had a plumbing emergency and the company sent him within minutes to my house to assess and plan the repairs. He was also able to call a restoration company out immediately to assess the damage and plan repairs to the HVAC system which was affected by the flood. They will both start work first thing in the morning.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Update to this, which I forgot to post last night.
Robby arrived promptly at eight and had completed his job in a few hours. He solved the problem, made the repairs and was cleaned up and gone in a timely manner. Excellent service. Will definitely use again if the need should arise. -
Great experience with Brandon and his crew, thank you so much! We did a complete replacement of all plumbing in our business and it was a big job, over 3 days, really happy with everything. Quotes came in significantly lower from this business vs others in the area and their level of knowledge also seemed higher.

I had two issues, my water pressure was too high, and my tankless water heater was making a rattling sound and much louder than it used to be. Olympic Plumbing sent plumber Gaige Stidman to determine what the issues were. I was very impressed with his knowledge of my tankless water heater; he quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. Runs like new now. He also installed a water pressure valve to the water main water line, that brought my water pressure down to a level safe for my appliances. He felt it was most likely the high-water pressure is what caused the damage to the tankless water heater. Gaige knows his stuff and is a very likeable guy; I'll be requesting him for my future plumbing needs.

I never write reviews, however; I just can't say enough about the service I received from not only from the company, in general, but more specifically their technician (is that the word?) Nate!! And his trusty "assistant" Morgan.
I had a very old combo hot water heater/furnace unit. A project many people couldn't or wouldn't take on. I shopped around and knew it was going to be well over 10,000 dollars to replace.
After talking to Nate, I knew his knowledge and their willingness to work with me was the way to go, and I was not disappointed!
Professional, kind, meticulous and completely thorough. My step father who owned a machine shop for over 50 years was very impressed with the welding and workmanship!
I can honestly say I will NEVER use any other plumbing service. -
I wish I had done more research before having a new shower installed. We originally called Olympic Plumbing for a leak and blockage issue. They suggested either redoing the tile work or replacing the entire shower, and since they also install showers and I’m not a fan of tile, we decided to go that route.
Communication between their office, installers, and us was inconsistent. They mentioned they didn’t do drywall, but I didn’t realize until installation day just how much cutting would be involved — we were left with a few inches of exposed wall around the shower, and the flooring didn’t meet the base. As someone new to renovations, I didn’t know what to expect, but I wish this had been explained more clearly. I wanted to cry when I saw the final result, I was overwhelmed with a cranky toddler that I had finally gotten to sleep, and just wanted the day to be over. I was alone so I just signed off on the job.
Scheduling was also an issue. I was sent a photo of the shower they recommended — which I approved — but the unit installed was not the same one, so that was disappointing. They also did not confirm an appointment for the actual install, they said they ordered the shower and it would be there on a certain day. I assumed it would be delivered to them and expected a call back to confirm wha time/day works for the actual install. They put me on the books without telling me, I had no confirmation email, text, no reminders and I had to rush from work to meet them. (They do have appointment reminders set up because I received one for the consultation and for the day they had to come back and finish the job)
One of the reasons we agreed was because of their 12 month no interest financing($7,000), I wasn’t aware this automatically enrolled us in a one-year membership($15/mo). I didn’t see that stated in the paperwork, and I would have appreciated being told directly. The office lady told me I agreed to it, but I did not I realize I did and could not find the fine print.
Lastly, we asked them to use the shut-off valve to turn off our water or the well house. The valve was tight and probably needs to be replaced, which would have been fine. Instead, they used the breaker instead of accessing the well house. A few weeks later, our well pump failed completely, costing us over $10,000 to replace.
Overall, the plumbers themselves seemed competent — they did resolve our initial blockage issue — but I would not hire them again for a project of this scale. It was an expensive learning experience, and I’ll be canceling the membership once my contract ends and the shower is paid off. -
These folks are absolutely outstanding! Our toilet suddenly became clogged and none of the tools in our house were able to get rid of the clog. We called around a lot and these folks stuck out. We sure weren't let down. They were able to come right out and take care of our little mess. Steven was our technician. He was phenomenal! Knowledgeable, kind and great with people. He had the whole thing fixed in no time flat. The price was right also! They have now become our plumber of choice. Use them if any of you need a plumber. What a great experience!

Nick from Olympic Plumbing Technology met with me today to provide an estimate to replace the water main pipe that runs from the curbside meter to our homes water main shutoff; about a 40ft run from the meter.
The City of Puyallup notified us of a suspected leak. Initial guidance from the utility worker was to shut-off our home water main line and watch the water meter; if it's still spinning, the leak is in between the meter and the home. Not inside the house.
We did this test and the meter kept spinning with our home water main turned off. BUMMER!! The leaking pipe is about 40 years old and sprung a leak underground.
Nick met with us and what a great experience!!
He is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained our options with a detailed scope of work breakdown. I had done enough research and spoke with another outdoor plumber that did not leave me with the feeling I would want to work with him.
We decided to go with Olympic Plumbing Technology and agreed to 1 of the options to replace the water line. Before Nick left he had already teed up the "Call Before you Dig" service and scheduled a crew to start work in 5 days.
I will follow up after the actual work is completed and finish this review.
Follow Up November 6, 2025.:
The work started Monday morning 8:00am and completed the replacement of our water main Tuesday afternoon. The crew was on time every day as well as the concrete company, Evergreen Concrete Cutting, sub-contracted by Olympic to replace the sidewalk that had to be removed to complete the work.
Everyone I dealt with at Olympic Plumbing Technology from the beginning of the process, during the project, to signing off on the project on Tuesday was an good experience.
I spoke of Nick above, he was our go-to guy and ran this project in a way that made it all seem seamless, he took care of everything, and the on-site crew was also outstanding at dealing with a very difficult access to our foundation. It was about a 40ft run of glacial marine rocks. That's Puyallup's South Hill for you, digging a hole requires a crowbar...for real.
The other complexity was the water main was also running underground with power lines, cable lines, gas line, and a telecom cable too. All within a 20 sq. ft. area. See pic
We were notified by the City of Puyallup of the leak on 10/27 and the project was completed today 11/6 with the Evergreen taking down the barricade to protect the fresh sidewalk concrete.
If you have a gnarly problem come up, like you home water main is leaking underground, Olympic Plumbing Technology should be your first call. -
Gaige and Jake were wonderful to work with! They were so personable and explained everything in plain English so I could understand. They completed the work so quickly and our filter is working GREAT now! They even explained it to my 4 year old and 2 year old, they were so kind! If I need more work done, I really hope I get this team next time!
(They installed a new whole home water filter, fixed our expansion tank on the hot water tank, fixed a kids toy stuck in the toilet, and rerouted and installed a water shut off inside the garage) -
They did a full refit of our bathroom. Very professional, really tidy, and a fantastic end result. Would highly recommend for any plumbing work. We were delighted with the service.

I promise you this is the company you wanna call.

Professional, quick service at a very reasonable price. I love my new toilet.

I had a good experience with McNeese’s plumbing. They gave me a fair price and did a good job. They are honest, friendly and to easy to deal with and do quality work. I will consider them for my future plumbing needs. Thanks.

Zach, did a great job replacing the facet connections under the kitchen sink. He installed the new kitchen facet as well. And a new connection from toilet to wall in bathroom. I highly recommend McNeese's Plumbing.
