Smoothed and leveled a 50x75 foot section of the yard. It had some tricky bits due to trees/Retaining wall, but with professionalism and care made it look great.

Recently had straight up remodeling work on our bathroom remodel and we love the end result. The shower was a demo with with new tub and tile to the ceiling. Part of the subfloor had water damage and was replaced with new flooring installed. They were very professional, on time, and had my overall happiness in mind throughout the entire process.

Straight Up Tractor was great to work with, from scheduling to the completion of the job. They were courteous and did good work. I'd work with them again without hesitation.

On time, quality work, does what they say they are going to do, and very reasonable. Doug, the main guy, talks to you like you are a person, is very respectable, answers all your questions (even what you think is a dumb question). Takes the time need to make sure you know what is needed and what is going to happen. Went back to them for a second job since the first went so well. They got us out of a time crunch on the first one by accommodating our very short time schedule.

Doug and his crew performed a total transformation on my front yard and added a gravel driveway. The crew was very efficient and I was pleased with the result. I also enjoyed working with Leslie, the office manager, who worked with me on the schedule and made sure all my questions got answered. Definitely would recommend.

It is difficult to find good contractors to provide services in the Lake Cushman area which is why it is great knowing that Straight Up Excavation and Drainage have established a presence in the Lake Cushman area. Staff are wonderful to work with. Ended up with an okay result. Hired Doug and team to fix my swimming pool grade issue in my fenced in backyard. End result is still a swimming pool. Potential misunderstanding in what my expectations were when hiring Doug. It was my understanding that I was purchasing a ‘final grade’ result as the quote was for re-grading. Then I would be able to lay top soil & sod at a later date as grade issue should have been resolved. Rainy weather showed me what actually happened. Swimming pool was still forming in the middle of the backyard, and was not draining away from the house. A landscape rake, a couple hours of work and some pretty sore backs were how the homeowners accomplished draining the pool. However, the grade issue still remains, and I still have a swamp. Doug did return to the job site to asses my claims, his final comments were that what I had hired him for was not finished grade and I’d need to hire him for more work to properly level with Top-Soil. Somewhat disappointing realization / misunderstanding of what I paid thousands of dollars for. Like I said - staff are lovely, but I am disappointed in the result and the ‘fix-it’ answer I received. Would have appreciated an offer of rework to move material around with his equipment and fix the grade vs what felt like excuses, blame and more money on my end. Pics showing my result.

Doug was great to work with and addressed all of our concerns for our road grading project of our small one lane driveway. He even came back to do some clean out of our ditches after one of my neighbors expressed some concerns. I would highly recommend him for any grading needs.

Doug and his crew helped redirect the rain from my gutters so my back yard wouldn't be soaked. It works wonderfully. They also removed quite a bit of soil, leveled the backyard, brought in top soil and reseeded the yard. All the way, a very professional job.

Doug did a great job. He is very flexible and did multiple things for me including demo of a manufactured home, driveway repair, brush cutting and creating a RV pad adapting power and sewage. They are very professional and reasonable.
