Over the years, Action Appliance has consistently provided high quality service including accurate quotes, timely service, and lasting repairs.
In addition, I rely on them to recommend brands of small appliances which won't break down and they have provided that information; a repair shop that doesn't sell the brands that they will have to repair frequently?
FABULOUS! Thank you and I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

Only game in town. Was told it would take a week to look at it. I called in late afternoon a week later and I was next in line. Received call and my late model appliance was not worth repairing. Was told about refurbished equipment and I asked if the price was comparable to Costco's. The guy got kind of snooty with me and told me he doesn't know everybody's prices. Guess what? Costco's cheaper.

Rude customer service over the phone. I called to ask if they were open because I was unsure due to statewide COVID-19 restrictions and the guy curtly responded “we’ve been open the whole time.” I was a little shocked so I said “ok, I was just asking,” to which he responded “well I’m just telling you.” I was going to get my kitchen aid mixer repaired here but declined and went with a factory repair service. Worth paying the $61 fee to not deal with rude employees. I had hoped to support a small business, but don’t want to support someone who treats potential customers like sh*t.

I have had electric razors, professional hair dryers and Kitchenaid mixer repaired here over the years. If it can be repaired, they can do it. If not, they will say so. A Bissell pet mess carpet cleaner could not be repaired because Bissell did not design it that way. Bad on Bissell. This shop is a busy, well respected small business. They don't make sweet on the phone. They fix things. Very, very well. Highly recommended.

Great place to get small appliances fixed rather than just throw them out. Excellent service. I’ve also gotten excellent deals on replacement parts and new appliances — blender, espresso machine, space heater, hand mixer, vacuum cleaner, etc. Been coming here for 20+ years.

Received a call from this business today. I apparently accidently left out the strainer from my coffee espresso machine when I sent it for repair. I wasn't understanding what he needed, he called it a "cup."
He was so angry and condescending I was appalled. Totally understand he can't fix my machine without the strainer, but the anger was unnecessary. It's not like I did it on purpose. Eeegads.... proceed with caution!

Awesome service – got our decades old KitchenAid stand mixer running like new, ahead of the predicted week-long turnaround, and were polite and professional with each interaction. Great place to get other small KitchenAid pieces and accessories too, for a good price. If you want competent, prompt work on your small appliances, they're just the place.

P.S. – if you expect to have your feet kissed upon walking in the door, you're going to be sorely disappointed. These guys are here to work on your appliances, not butter you up for sales.

Mike and Dave King run a great little shop. They can fix any small appliance or will tell you straight if you need a new one. I have been a customer for years and they have become friends by serving my family and I faithfully. If you have an appliance you just can't part with... give them a chance to fix it up like new for you. Very fair.

Great friendly service from long distance. Repaired my 40+ year-old Norelco razor in short time. I called, we talked, I sent, he fixed, he mailed back. Great service and fair cost. I'm happy. Thanks Mike!

I called for carpet cleaner repair. The manager first would not service me with directions to his location as well was rude over the phone. as well i tried to explain a way he could have better service; to provide a deposit for the diagnostics of the cleaner and he rudely commented back how thats not something he could possibly change with his services. Then tried to hang up on me.

Worst service ever. I've just called to ask support for fixing my Delohghi AC Portable Unit. The person on the phone asked for the serial numbel, I explain to him that I bought this item via Amazon Renewed, and couldn't find it, I only had the model. He was super rude and said it could't do anything for me, and just dropped the call. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! WONT EVER RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE.

Honestly, I wouldn't come back here. While I appreciate them for replacing my vacuum due to the warranty, I felt that I was being gaslight by "mike" and he was just overall rude to me.

I brought in my vacuum to be looked at becuase it wasn't functioning. It was under warranty and Bissel told me to bring it in. I had that that needed to be fix and my vacuum cord was also exposed.

He told me they dont fix damages that I did myself. I told him I pulled hte vaccum out of the box like this, Bissel had told me to come here to get it looked at and replaced. He proceeded to cut me off and tell me it was my fault even though I had proof from customer support in regards to this matter.

Its very rude of someone to assume stuff like this especially when they have proof and have bene working with customer support on this matter.

Honestly, I would take my business elsewhere. Mike is very rude towards me from the moment i entered this store.

Called to get a rough estimate on a Japanese rice cooker battery replacement and approximately how long it would take and couldn’t get one unless I had the exact model no. and so much excuses. Obviously he has not done very much and doesn’t know his craft and no experience. So I called other listed service centers and they all gave me an exact price of anywhere from $17 to a high of $40 in San Fran. They all told me depending on how busy they were it would take from 25 to 45 minutes. So I found a guy locally who told me he has done a few but didn’t stock batteries, but told me if I bought one he would change it for me if I wanted to do some other shopping or have lunch and come back in an hour. He told me all it took was de-soldering the old battery then solder in the new one. Cost me $20. Now this guy has experience and knows his craft and found me a new repair shop to boot.

Highly recommend this place for hair clipper repairs. My Oster Model 10 clippers run smoother and quieter than when I purchased them brand new. They will go the extra mile to make your clippers run and work well for you. Very happy to have found this shop to service my equipment!
Thank you for an awesome job well done.

Terrible customer service. I tried to call to get some rough estimates on what could be the problem with my espresso machine and whether it's worth it to fix it. And the guy on the phone was VERY rude and didn't want to help at all. Just said "bring the machine to us, we will charge you $30 for inspection and let you know". Just go to Espresso Repair Experts, they are so nice and don't charge for inspection!

Very disappointed in this place. I took my Bissell carpet cleaning machine here to be repaired. This is the only local place that is contracted with Bissell and my machine was still under warranty, so I dropped off my machine and was told it would be ready in about a week. A few days after getting the call it was repaired I went down and picked it up. Got home and tried it out and the upholstery hose tool was spraying in different directions/dripping. I could use it to clean the carpets but it should have just been spraying in a nice/strong fan shape. Also, EVERY time I want to use my machine I have to push a paper clip in the hole where the water comes out of the main floor cleaner where the hose clicks in. If I don't do this the hand held sprayer won't even work! So those were the issues with the hand held cleaning tool. I tried to use the main floor cleaner and the whole tub of water was gone in literally about 7 seconds. Now I know it shouldn't be draining THAT fast! I had been told that the main floor part of the machine was fine. So I will be calling Bissell to see what to do next, as I am not wasting my time with this business again. I would recommend going elsewhere based on my experience.

Love these guys - we've had multiple appliances flawlessly repaired over the past several years. Knowledgeable, quick, and their repairs help you to live greener by not having to buy new stuff.

I greatly appreciate their matter-of-fact service style: it saves time and I don't have to contend with unctuous attempts at upselling an appliance that I don't need.

You can deliver or ship appliances to them, and while they charge a diagnostic fee, it's almost always cheaper to have appliances repaired than to buy new ones.

My Delonghi Dedica espresso machine stopped working and was past the 2 year warranty. Customer service recommended I get rid of it and offered a 20% off coupon. I called around and was able to find Action Small Appliance. They were professional and reasonably priced. There is a bit of a wait with parts orders, but this is to be expected. It now works even better than it did when I first got it. I feel great about saving something from the trash and hope it will keep working for years to come. Thanks!

I took my 20 year old Kitchenaid mixer to Action for repair, after being given this referral from the factory in Ohio, 10 days before Christmas - I paid a small deposit and was given a date that they would call me (in one week) with a diagnosis of the issues and a cost for repair. I was fully expecting to have to call them (perhaps multiple times) to see if the mixer had been looked at - this is so typical these days. They called me on the day they said they would! They took payment over the phone and said they would fix it that day and I could pick it up right after Christmas! I was amazed that there is still a place that not only WILL fix countertop appliances, but in a timely fashion, for a reasonable cost! The man who helped me was polite and efficient, knowledgeable and patient in explaining what was wrong and how they would remedy the problems. I'm so happy to have found this business and I'm picking up my mixer early next week.

Updated review. All in all, pretty fair prices but i needed to bring it back again. They "fixed" our KitchenAid mixer that needed a few repairs. We plugged it in today and it sounded wrong, like the motor was running rough. Note: we brought it back and they fixed the rough sound. So they definitely stand behind their work! Good thing.

Don't expect a chatterbox to greet you. Also they do want $20 up-front to look at your appliance and they want you to pre-pay the cost of repair before they begin working on it.
