Matthew has serviced my pool for the past two years, my family and I are very happy. Professional, knowledgeable, on time service, is the norm with him and Jessie.

I hired this company to take on a complicated repair and resurfacing job for a pool at a home we were remodeling. They did an outstanding job and took great pride in the quality of the work they did. They were extremely responsive anytime I had a question, and would hire them again based on my experience.

Matt came by quickly and immediately diagnosed the issue. He was very friendly and told me ways to save money, rather then try to sell me something I did not need. I would recommend him as your go to pool guy in a heartbeat.

My automatic pool cover ropes were tangled. This happened just as we were having visitors from out of state. Sadly, we could not open our pool cover and enjoy the pool. Matthew was the first to respond and give me a quote. It was a difficult job which they did in heavy rain downpour. They also came late in the day to accommodate our request to get it done quickly. They were able to fix my automatic pool cover. I would highly recommend Matthew for a project.

This company installed a new pump for my spa. They responded to my request for a bid very quickly,,discussed my options with me, gave me a bid and stuck to it. They were friendly, courteous, and professional. I can’t speak to their comparative price with other companies because I was so impressed I just hired them, but I am very satisfied.

This company really cares about its services they provide. You will always get upfront honesty from them and very transparent on everything they do. If you are looking to try someone new or moved into the area, I would contact them for a professional bid or upfront advice. I was very glad to have been referred to them by the person who installed my auto kid safe pool cover.

We were excited to have Dunn come out and fix our pool heater today but unfortunately that didn't last long :( This morning as we were awaiting for someone to come out and install the new water heater we get a text from the company telling us we need to have an electrician come out too because they are not licensed to do electrical work. So we called to get details on what exactly this means. We were told that they accidentally forgot to mention to us when we booked the service that we'll need power hooked up to the unit for it to ignite and that's not something they do. Mmmm, HELLO, how do you fail to mention this until the day of the install and how do you assume we can just pick up the phone and have an electrician just show up and how is this not part of the install?????? The lady told us its also another estimated $300 that they don't cover. REALLY, and all that was supposed to be mentioned the day of the install!!!
When asked if they knew of electrician she said yes but you have to pay the fee. NO, I was already charged $7k to get this job done the least they can do is fix their mistake and get an electrician and pay for it to get the job done.
My husband was so frustrated he told her he didn't want to proceed so she quickly refunded the deposit we paid and dropped us like it was nothing. Didn't even care to make it right. All we got was "Sorry we weren't clear upfront, I'll cancel your service, bye".
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT!!!!
For sure not using this company or referring them to anyone. Don't use them if you want a reliable and caring company.
Independently Dunn, hope it was worth saving $300 on the electrician fee and losing a $7K project and many more customers.

I am new to pool, realizing this complex stuff after moving in the current home, by watching the big pool of water from beautiful blue to awkward green pond. Matthew and Jesse are super responsive and professional. They helped me treat the water, repair and install my equipements, finally returning a beautiful clear blue pool! Matthew is the kind of guy very techinical, sometimes you may feel overwhelmed by his opinions but he is indeed professional. He may won't like other service providers trying to please you and offering some medieoc solutions sounds cheap but not solving your problem eventually. He explained to me all the mechinsms and convinced me to invest more and maintain more on water and equipements instead of on chemical -- which is very reasonable to me for a self-owned pool. Jesse is super kind and responsive on every scheduling, cleaning, etc. Our kids love her.

These guys are great. I have been using Matthew as my pool guy for a little over a year now and he's always been upfront and transparent with what is going on with the pool and always giving me tips for proper and better care like it was his own. His partner Jesse is also great with quick and timely responses so I never feel like i'm out of the loop if anything arises. I would highly recommend them.

We were getting our house ready for the market and had an older spa / tub that was not working. Matt came out the next day and had to order parts and rebuild the frame. While he was at it, he fixed the exhaust fan. He did a great job for a very fair price - and, in the time frame he quoted.

We have had a pool for 14 years. We have used several pool companies and always felt we were getting the run around. Matthew came out and gave us a fair price to replace our pool heater and change the gravel in the filter. Not only that he educated SO MUCH on our pool we were shocked and how little knowledge we had. His wife Jesse is also a delight to speak to on the phone. A++++++++ BEST pool company around!

This is our 2nd time using Independently Dunn for our swimming pool needs, and once again, we couldn’t be happier with their work and overall level of customer service.

The first time that we used them, our mechanical swimming pool cover had broken down right before we were having some out-of-state guests over for a long visit – all of the kids really wanted to use the pool, but we couldn’t open the cover! Understanding the rush, Matt and one of his assistants came out under very short notice and worked for hours in pouring rain and high winds (we’re talking torrential downpour) to resolve a very difficult situation with the pool cover. A lot of manual work, tinkering, and creative solutions were needed, and they delivered. A full replacement would have probably been needed if it weren’t for them, so they saved us thousands of dollars with their handy work. 2 years later, and the pool cover still works great.

Recently, our pool pump broke down, so we used it as an opportunity to upgrade our entire pump, filtration and heating system. Again, under short notice, Independently Dunn came out, reviewed the situation, and gave us a very fair and competitive bid to install a new pool pump, filtration system, and heater. Matt and Jesse had a full schedule already, but understanding that our pool water was sitting stagnant with a broken pump, they made sure that they found a way to squeeze us into their schedule and complete the job in short order. That’s great customer service. The job was completed quickly, efficiently, and without any problems.

Independently Dunn also reconfigured all of the intake and outtake pipes/valves to maximize pump efficiency. We had a mess of a pipe and valve system in our pool/pump room before this, and Matt really cleaned that up – it looks and runs great.

Along the way, Matt and Jesse were great at consulting us about proper pump and filtration usage, recommended pool chemicals, and all things pool and spa related. They really know their stuff, never hesitated to answer any of our questions (and I ask a lot!), and always seem to be happy to share their wealth of knowledge with their customers, which is great.

Our whole pump and filtration system is running as smooth and efficient as can be, and our pool water now looks cleaner than it ever has before. Independently Dunn did an incredible job. Again, this is our 2nd time using them, and I certainly won’t hesitate to use them again in the future for our pool and spa needs.

I have owned my pool for many years and have just discovered Independantly Dunn. While service has always been good with my former pool maintenance company, I find that Matt at Independantly Dunn has all of the expertise at a lower cost AND without the long wait time. I have made the transition and recommend others do as well.

We were complete pool newbies when we brought our house. Our pool was in pretty bad shape and Matt and Jessie were a tremendous help in getting it back to swimmable shape and helped us understand the ins-and-outs of pool maintenance. With their help we established a long term plan to modernize our pool and they were there to help us execute it each step of the way.

Jessie is a lifesaver! I called this company to assist with my pool as it started looking a little rough. jessie  was so professional and attentive, she cleaned the pool and filter's, balanced my pool and it looked brand spanking new again! We had frozen pipe from a bad winter storm. The broken section was in a very awkward spot at ground level inside the drywall in a very crowded utility room. Mathew identified the leaking problem and fixed it nicely. He also fixed some issues that always puzzled us. In addition he taught us quite a few things about how to keep the pool running efficiently. It was a very pleasant experience working with them. One more thing, I like how they schedule the service visit. It's a two hour window but they texted me ahead of time with a precise arrival time. I have no hesitation recommending they to my friends and family.
