The customer service representative who answered the phone was rude. They kept interrupting me and making inappropriate comments like 'I get that' and 'there is a language barrier between us.' This behavior made me feel discriminated against, as if only native English speakers were welcome to receive service. ( worked and lived in Redmond area for 20 years definitely is not enough :)

Company prices are way overpriced! However, technician was really great. A red flag about the company was they wouldn't provide a quote or price range over the phone for unclogging a kitchen sink, and the quote given to us upon arrival was at least 4 times what an independent plumber would charge! Again, the technician, Jason, did a great job, but he was given a flat price by the company, so why wouldn't they provide that on our phone call inquiry? I would love to give the technician 5 stars for his prompt, friendly, helpful service, but the company overpricing will prevent us from using Roto-Rooter in the future.

I expected better professionalism and reliability from a company like Roto-Rooter, but my experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and marked by poor communication. After multiple delays, unclear pricing, and inconsistent instructions, I’ve lost confidence in their service.

I initially called Roto-Rooter for an inspection due to a persistent water leak. The appointment was scheduled promptly, but the technician canceled at the last minute, citing delays from a previous job, and rescheduled for the next day.

When he arrived the following evening—after 6 PM—he quoted a price significantly higher than what we had expected. When I questioned it, he left for about 15 minutes and returned with a revised quote $200 lower. Since it was already past 7 PM by then, we couldn’t proceed with the work and told him we’d reschedule. He handed us his card and emphasized that the quoted price would only apply if we contacted him directly—not through the Roto-Rooter line.

Over the following week, I made several attempts to reach him and finally got in touch on a Saturday. He scheduled an appointment for Sunday (Mother’s Day) with a 2-hour arrival window. After waiting through the full window, we received a call from Roto-Rooter informing us that the technician was delayed. When I contacted him directly, he said he was at another job and had no estimated time of arrival. This time, unlike before, he suggested we call the main office to check for other available technicians—contradicting his earlier guidance.

To make matters worse, we’ve since received multiple calls from different people at Roto-Rooter, adding to the confusion. The overall experience has been disappointing and unnecessarily stressful and the job isn’t done yet :(

Florin showed up early which was very welcome and diagnosed the situation quickly. He fixed both my shower leak and sink plug very quickly. He was very professional and efficient and would recommend his services to all. Thank you!

Phillip arrived early within the two-hour appointment, greeted me with a friendly smile, and quickly assessed our slow-flush toilet. He explained possible reasons for the clog and quickly fixed the clog. There was no charge for him to arrive, and he gave an estimate that was reasonable. I’d use Roto-Rooter again, especially on a weekend.

Philip was friendly and thorough. It was 11:30pm when I called Roto-Rooter to unclog our toilet after battling it myself for over an hour. I called several services as I wanted to forego the almost mandatory $500 they charge to use their tool for a few minutes. Philip showed up was friendly and professional, completed the job and was all wrapped up in under 20 minutes. The 5 star is for the tech and the service. The price is a gouge but the story of the boat builder who was brought in to fix the tanker and did it in under 5 minutes by pinging one little part of the hull with a ball pin hammer but then charged 30k. They paid the 30k for the 30 years of experience that boatbuilder had that allowed him to identify and fix the massive ship with minimal effort not the 5 minutes it took.

It was a staff member named Mostafa who dealt with the issue of our toilet. He was very nice. He came very quickly and solved the problem promptly as well. It was a great experience.

We had a water back up in our bath tube that we discovered after coming home from work. These guys were out within an hour to help and explain everything. The pricing was upfront, and they left everything cleaner than when they arrived. Jerromy was awesome! And they guarantee their service for 6 months. Have used them twice now and always get good fast service.
