Constraction reviews in Renton, Washington

A to Z Construction uses digital tools to provide line by line cost items for the scope of work that you are requesting. Communication is excellent and Shawn is very responsive and knowledgeable in answering and explaining the processes as the remodel progresses.
Timelines are digitally produced and updated and you can view pictures on their websites as the remodel is being completed.
Kyrone is the lead Project Manager and is very knowledgeable, professional and skilled. He is a good listener and very good at explaining and offering solutions when obstacles during the remodel occurred.

We are very pleased with the finished remodel of home and would endorse A to Z as a top company for any remodel you are considering. We will use this company again in the future.

Shawn, Kyrone, and the team at A-Z have been absolutely incredible to work with. They handled a complete remodel of our kitchen, installation of a new kitchen in our MIL suite, adding closets, and a variety of other services.

Not only was the quality of the end result second to none, the whole team was extremely accessible and communicative throughout. We added and subtracted projects on the fly and they were always able to get back to us within 1-2 business days (usually same day) and help manage those projects on the fly.

Kyrone and the onsite team also went out of their way to add little tweaks, and polishing finishes that could have easily and justifiably been overlooked, just because they really cared about us and took pride in the quality of the end product.

The team also provides a daily photo journal of the work as it progresses, which is such a cool way to stay abreast of how your project is developing (especially in the early stages, when they’re doing a lot of internal plumbing and electrical work that might not be as recognizable as the “installed countertops” kind of work that happens later on).

Throughout the process every person we interacted with was so kind, pleasant, and helpful, by the end of it all, Shawn, Kyrone, and the team genuinely feel more like friends than contractors.

Cannot recommend this business highly enough for any of your remodeling or general contracting needs!!!

I would recommend A-Z Construction any day of the week! Shawn has an amazing eye for design and a skilled hand (and crew) to execute the vision. I referred A-Z Construction to a family member for a whole home remodel a few doors down from my house and they carried it out flawlessly with gorgeous finishings. I could go on about punctuality and professionalism and communication, all of which A-Z has on lock, but beyond that this company is like family. They genuinely care about the people they are working with and working for. Three days after giving birth to my son, my mother had a fall and I wasn’t in a good position to help. The guys didn’t hesitate to assist, and waited with us until the ambulance arrived. THAT is the type of person that I trust in my home. Pick A-Z Construction and you won’t regret it for a second.

We have known Shawn for several years and during this time he has consistently demonstrated an impressive professionalism and highly ethical standards. Shawn is a dedicated, hardworking, and trustworthy individual, and he is very proud of the work he does. Most importantly, his main priority has always been keeping his customers happy. Shawn and his team at A-Z will be the first people we call on a home renovation.

We are so grateful we found Shawn. The Team at A-Z construction are all very detail oriented and they push each other to further their perfection. Shawn is clearly a contractor who’s playing the long game. He takes the time to listen, has helpful advice and ideas to maximize space and function.

We bought a complete fixer upper and Shawn and his team made our home so beautiful, every day we are so grateful for how beautiful everything turned out. We couldn’t be happier.

We were extremely satisfied with the quality of work on two bathroom remodels by A-Z Construction Solutions. The whole project started and remained on schedule. Daily face to face tie-ins with Shawn and his crew and communication via the Buildertrend app we’re really helpful. Any issues were resolved quickly and details received their needed attention. We would consider A-Z construction again for any future projects.

A-Z did a great job on another remodel for us - the third major improvement we have worked with them on. They are great at planning , scheduling, and coordinating the work. The A-Z team provided quality work and went out of their way to address any of our needs. I would not hesitate to recommend A-Z!

Working with A-Z Construction was an absolute pleasure. This project was truly done at the highest level of professionalism and quality. The communication was fantastic - with daily logs and photos that we loved. The team on site was there on time, every day, with a well-organized and clean work area and high-end work product.
This was a 4 month project and it was completed almost to the day. The entire process was seamless and I would never use anyone else for any remodeling needs. Fantastic job.

I have now worked on three projects with A-Z Construction, twice as the designer and this last time as a client. Again, Shawn and Kyrone did an excellent job and were a pleasure to work with. They are organized, thorough, creative, detail-oriented, and easy to get along with. This was a restorative project after some fairly major water damage at a church where I work part-time. Because the building is commercial, the City was highly (ahem) involved and slowed the timetable down significantly. Shawn and Kyrone were flexible and patient, and of course their work was top-notch. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again!

I cannot recommend A-Z Construction Solutions enough! They completely transformed my unfinished 1914 Craftsman basement into a beautiful and functional living space that exceeded all of my expectations.

From the initial consultation to the final walk-through Shawn, Kyrone, Jeremey and Darwin were professional, knowledgeable and dedicated to bringing our vision to life. They listened carefully to my needs and offered creative solutions to make the most of the new space.

Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was exceptional. The team worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the project was executed to perfection. The finished space is stunning with a cozy living area, spacious bedroom and luxurious bathroom. It’s hard to believe that it was once a dark and dingy basement. I am thrilled with the results and can’t wait to spend time in my new space.

If you are looking for a team of skilled and dedicated contractors to transform your home …look no further. These professionals are the best in the business. I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with A-Z Construction Solutions and highly recommend them to anyone looking to transform their home into something truly special.

Shawn made our kitchen remodel a rewarding experience. His crew were always on-time, communicative and pleasant to deal with. The quality of their work was top notch. We are extremely pleased with the final product.

A-Z Construction remodeled my kitchen and bathroom. They do very high end quality work. Also, the sub contractors they work with are very high quality. Shawn worked with me to get the design the way I wanted. They needed to do some problem solving and arrived at some very functional and creative solutions while always while communicating with me of the additional costs. I can highly recommend their work and they are fun to work with, which really helps during a remodel.

Shawn and his crew were on top of the remodel of my kitchen and 2 bathrooms! Shawn's help choosing materials and keeping me updated every day made the process almost painless. Everyone was knowledgeable and prompt and always polite! I can't say enough about them! Highly recommend for any project!
Thank you Shawn, Kyrone, Jeremy, Luis, Mario and all the others!!

I cannot recommend A-Z Construction enough! They have worked on several projects within our home, most recently a significant remodeling of our kitchen and bathrooms as well as a new outdoor deck. We couldn’t be happier as this new space creates the perfect environment for us. They finished ahead of schedule, stayed within the budget we discussed, were professional and respectful to our living space, always diligent about leaving it clean and safe for our family. Shawn and Kyrone are hardworking, honest, and kind individuals. They helped me to fine-tune details of our remodel, and expertly completing the designs. We are so pleased and happy with their work!

Shawn and his team at A-Z are absolutely phenomenal! They were so incredibly organized and communicative. Shawn patiently walked us through every step of the remodeling process from architectural design, to countertop and hardware selections, to flooring and more. We were updated with daily logs and photos of work done and notified promptly if they ran into any issues.

He took the time to listen to our wants and needs and came up with a fantastic kitchen design that really functions the way we need it to for our growing family. His team came up with an innovative solution when we couldn’t relocate our attic access to our desired location due to structural incompatibility. Kyrone did an incredibly amazing job seamlessly blending the access point into our living room ceiling where it’s practically invisible.

Shawn promptly responded to all emails, and took the time to thoroughly answer our questions. He explained the technical stuff in a way that was detailed but easy to understand.

Kyrone and the crew were always so welcoming and wonderful to chat with whenever we would swing by unannounced to move boxes in, or work on our own little projects around the house.

With a tight timeline, Shawn and his team managed to complete our large project a few days early. Which is even more impressive given all of the little add-ons I kept giving them in the days leading up to our deadline. From lowering the fireplace mantle, to painting bedrooms, to replacing all of the trim around every window on the main floor, they took each item in stride and still managed to deliver early!

I cannot recommend Shawn and his team highly enough. Their work is professional, quality, and stunningly beautiful!

We had a structural issue in our finished lower level. A-Z was able to diagnose the problem, suggest a reasonable solution, carry out selective demolition, correct the structural problem, and restore the finished surfaces with no repairs visible at the conclusion. The kept us informed of their schedule and when subcontractors would be working in the house. They protected non-demolition areas and surfaces and kept a clean job site. The crew of Kyrone and Jeremy were skilled and considerate craftsmen who quickly resolved issues as they arose. I highly recommend Shawn Welland and this company.

After reading many reviews in Yelp and Google, we decided to hire Shawn and his team to remodel our master bathroom. I really appreciated that they took the time to listen to our concerns and ideas, and budget obviously. They did a great job to find the best materials to produce a beautiful bathroom regardless of our not so great budget. They are really professional, they focus on a single job at a time, they listen and respond quickly, and are very trustworthy. I’d definitely hire them again.

Shawn and crew did a great job of keeping to the scheduled timeline of the project and of being prompt on their arrival and departure time each day. The site ( 3 bathrooms and a laundry room upgrades and remodeling) was kept very clean and the rest of the house well protected ( covered floors and carpets) . We are happy with the results and appreciate the contact they had with both us and our designer, to keep everything going smoothly.

Working with A-Z Construction was the best decision we made regarding our kitchen remodel! We couldn't be happier with the results, which were on-time, on budget and exceeded expectations in terms of quality and workmanship. Shawn is the ultimate professional - responsive, organized, detailed and easy to work with. The crew - Kyrone, Jeremy and Darwin are incredibly talented, professional and a joy to have on the project - we actually missed them when the project was done after spending 8 weeks seeing them daily in our home! I now have my dream kitchen - which involved demo to remove our pantry, change in the scope and size of the island and cabinets, all new counters/backsplash/cabinets/appliances/flooring/electrical/plumbing and HVAC work. They handled everything with ease and we will absolutely be contacting A-Z in the future for additional home updates/upgrades.

Shawn did an amazing job remodeling my clients home that I listed for sale. His team took the house from the 90s and updated it to 2019!!. When I listed the home it got an overwhelming positive response to the remodel. Everyone who viewed the home loved all the new modern features, amazing kitchen with a new 5 piece bath that resembled something you would see at a high end hotel suite. His team did a quality job and at very reasonable fair price. I would definitely recommend them on your next project.

Shawn and his team at A-Z Construction Solutions are incredible. We hired Shawn to help us design and remodel the kitchen in our house, which we had just purchased in summer 2020. Shawn has sharp design sense and executed our project with the utmost level
of professionalism. The final product has exceeded my expectations in every category. Shawn is responsive, communicative, and timely. Our project finished exactly on time and he provided us real time
updates. His teammates Kyrone and Dorrin are also lovely to work with. I would not hesitate to entrust Shawn and A-Z with another large remodel project. Highly recommend if you want a top notch luxury remodel without the hassle. Shawn is amazing!!!!
