They have been super unprofessional!
They have no showed us two days in a row. They were suppose to come yesterday morning and never showed up. Told us they forgot to put us in the schedule, and would re-schedule us for the morning after.
So the SAME GUY we have been contacting no showed again today, and is sending us straight to voicemail.
100% would not to even try it, should not be in business. (EDIT: response to the owner, this is the right company, I don’t just write bad reviews on a random company’s page. I was speaking with Sean.)

I called yesterday and the technician was here the next day. A very nice young man named Sean arrived and had my chimney clean in no time. Thank you so much for your service.

Tal was fantastic! He came out the same day of request and fixed the problem quickly with my gas fireplace. He was so helpful to explain everything and his customer service was great!

Made an appointment 1 month in advance to have 3 dryer vents cleaned on apartment bldg. Confirmed appointment 3 days out with a text msg and all was set. Waited at apartment building from 8-11 on scheduled day and time. At 11:30 I texted for an update. No response. Finally at 3pm I texted my cancelation. This company wasted a day of my time. Completely unprofessional. I scheduled with a more reputable company.

I recently hired United Home Services to repair my 2 60-year old chimneys which were crumbling and in disrepair. Everyone I worked with at United Home Services was professional, pleasant and the work was done in an efficient manner. When the job was finished they did a great job of cleaning up any mess they had made. From Jessy, who did the inspection for the estimate to the crew of David, Antonio and Gustavo they were all a pleasure to deal with and I am very pleased with the results of their work. I am glad that I chose United Home Service from the estimates I got, and I would recommend them highly.

Made an appointment with this company for a chimney sweep for a home we had just purchased. The technician came out and looked at our chimneys and told me they were both unstable and needed to be completely demolished and rebuilt, didn’t sweep the chimneys and then charged me $100 for an inspection. I have since had 5 other companies come out and look at the chimneys, all of whom have said that the chimneys require minor repairs and rain caps and are structurally sound and that if we wanted to burn in the fireplace that the chimney would need to be swept. None of these companies charged me for these opinions. Don’t use this company for chimney issues, clearly trying to take advantage of us as new, somewhat clueless home owners.

Reply to your response: The chimney is NOT pulling away from the house. There is a gap between the siding and part of the chimney due to a siding issue, the chimney is perfectly plumb- fairly remarkable for a 100 year old home I’m told. And there is no need to replace flue tile when we plan on adding a gas insert, as discussed with your technician. The most we were quoted to get the chimney ready for the insert was 3.5k (the lowest 1k) , much less than the 13k you quoted. I don’t think 5 other companies who also make their living from repairing chimneys would all mislead us and say pretty much the exact same thing about what the chimney needs. You were clearly trying to take advantage of us, not to mention your tech made it seem like it was something that needed to happen immediately, as if our chimneys were going to fall over tomorrow.

Had two appts: one for diagnoses and one for repairs to gas fireplace. Arrived on time for both. Diagnosis was quick, thorough, and accurate. The tech took time to explain the evr ryissue, what needed to be repaired, and gave a gain estimate. Parts arrived on time; tech arrived on time and completed within an hour. Explained all the repair/replacement parts, tested system. Put everything back together and cleaned up. Very personable, competent and professional. I highly recommend.

Tal came out to fix my gas fireplace and did an excellent job. Very efficient and knowledgeable about my unit and what it needed. Would definitely call this company again and specifically ask for him.

Sean was fantastic, he came out and diagnosed our issue with the gas fireplace and had it up and running within 25 minutes. Highly experienced he explained everything in great detail and provided answers to all my questions. Will definitely be using United home services again!

Sean cleaned our gas fireplace. He was on time and done FAST (like :15 minutes). He took time to explain and fix the root cause of our soot buildup which was log placement. Top notch service! Will use again.

Heater stopped working in my house. I was told that my fireplace and furnace were both broken and they said I had to pay 20k to replace them.

After they were both replaced (and downgraded to worse relative models - our new fireplace is terrible compared to the previous one btw) everything was still not working. UHS came out two more times after replacing everything, couldn't figure it out, and just washed their hands of it. Told me to call the gas company and it wasn't their problem.

So I did. And the gas company came out and evaluated the problem in 2 minutes. There was an issue with the line coming into the house, simple fix and it was done for free. Nothing had been broken to begin with.

UHS charged me 20k to replace things that didn't need replacing because they either were scamming me ... or they were so inept they couldn't diagnose what was apparently an easy issue to catch. I'm not sure which is worse.

i do not normally do reviews but United Home Services has done an amazing job fixing our damaged chimney’s interior a few years back. They provide transparent pricing, no high pressure sales tactics, are timely and efficient with their services. we now use them for annual chimney sweep maintenance and i would highly recommend this company.

Mike was a pleasure to work in the scheduling of my chimney cleaning. Very professional and courteous and they offered a great price! My sister hired them as well and will use them for all of their rentals in the area. Asher did a great job on site as well. Will definitely use this company again! Top notch... I highly recommend United Home Services for fireplace service. I left a request for service late Thursday evening and Mike responded first thing Friday morning. I was scheduled almost immediately. Logan was our technician. He was so kind, efficient and informative in explaining the issue and how to resolve it. And he resolved it in no time! The price was more than fair and the service was excellent!!! Thank you Mike and Logan for such great service!!
