Absolutely insane billing practices that are predatory in my opinion. Would never hire them again. Misleading, unconscionable. You’re better to call any other group if nothing more to substantiate the quote, if you’re even lucky to get one from Nelson. Lesson learned, as a homeowner and concerned citizen for others unsuspecting, in my opinion this business is excessively deceptive and misguided. Buyer beware.

We had an apartment in our building that no one had updated in 20 years. Allan was very communicative about repairs, and the home inspector said that he was impressed with the work!

Nelson is always great. You don't need to look further for an electrician. We use them for all properties we manage and they take care of us every time.

I had them upgrade the service from 100 to 200 amps. They did an excellent job. Would highly recommend getting an estimate from them to do any electrical work.

We had a list of jobs to do and received a nicely detailed quote from Mirsky. We had to schedule pretty far out but they did great work when they got here, and it ended up being quicker and cheaper than quoted. They kept us informed about the progress they were making and made sure to check with us for any decisions that had to be made.

All of my experiences with mirsky have been top-notch. Excellent quality work, done quickly. Every time they’ve been out, it’s taken less time than I anticipated, and I appreciate the attention to detail. I’ll be using them again any time I have electrical work that needs doing.

I contacted Mirsky Electric on Monday morning looking for a quote on an EV charger install and to diagnose some moderate LED flickering. Within 90 minutes I received a call back from Matt who let me know they were booked pretty far out for estimates, and even further out for the work. He was also very up front that diagnosing the LED flickering would likely be quite time-consuming and costly because I've already done all the trouble shooting and it's matter of finding the interference that's causing it, somewhere in the whole house. Probably not worth the cost. I thanked him the call back and said I'll probably need to install the EV charger myself as I need to complete it sooner than they would be available. I had a couple follow up questions to make sure I was selecting the optimal equipment for that install and Matt quickly replied back with the info I needed. Seth did a great job identifying and fixing the faulty GFCI outlet that my new microwave was tripping. Friendly and professional, and offered to wear a mask unprompted. Love it.

I had a bad outlet + wall switch combo in my kitchen that another electrician had previously failed to diagnose. Seth did a great job at fixing the issue and thoroughly explained the work being done and what the issue was.

What's not to love about Mirsky? On-time, quick, professional, effective, and came in under estimate. Matt made the scheduling and estimating process easy, and Seamus handily completed the job. Top in their field and my new go-to electrician.

We were referred to Mirsky to fix issues with certain bedroom outlets not working. Mike came in and investigated the outlets, wiring patterns and circuit breaker arrangement to determine the cause ... a seemingly unrelated outlet down in our daughter's room was affecting those in our master bedroom.

He found the issue quickly and logically, taking time to explain and answer our questions.

We definitely recommend Mirsky, and Mike in particular, and will next have them tackle a much large project: replacing all outlets, switches and dimmer mechanisms in the entire house (built in the '80s) with modern outlets, rocker switches and slide dimmers.
