Our home had knob and tube wiring, so we needed a whole home rewire. Kemly did an amazing job! Timmy and Seth were our main electricians. They were excellent at navigating all the twists and turns that our old home brought. Anytime there was a complication, they thoroughly explained all our options so that we could decide what was best for us and our home. They were punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and always left a clean job site at the end of the day. Since we were living in our home during the rewire, they kept us up to speed on where they would be working each day and what access they needed so that we could keep using the rest of our home while one or two rooms were being rewired. We’ll definitely use Kemly again and will be recommending this team to all our friends.

I have had my ceiling fans installed and then replaced by James. He installed the fans and took away my old fixtures and all the packing. And he even replaced the battery in my smoke alarm that is too high for me to reach . I highly recommend Kemly Electric!

I've worked with Kemly 3 times now and every single time, they've been excellent.

The first time around we needed a hot tub circuit installed on our rooftop. Kemly did a great job and we haven't had any problems with it.

The second time we were installing an EV charger. Since the house was hitting the limits of it's 100 amp service, most electrical companies said that we can't install the EV charger without upgrading the entire service to the house. Kemly was able to install a smart load shedding device that cuts power to the EV charger whenever the rest of the house uses too much power. This way we were able to avoid having to upgrade the service and saved a TON of money. We haven't had any problems with the setup during the years since.

The third time around we used Kemly to do a bunch of upgrades on our new house. They did a smart panel change, added some ceiling lights, added an EV charger, hot tub circuit and a induction range circuit. They were also able to run a wire to our crawl space for a future basement conversion project so we wouldn't have to run more wires through the walls in the future.

Every time they've been punctual, done a super high quality job and have been open to adding little pieces of work here and there as they've come up.

Kemley rewired most of our 100+ year old house with minimal wall damage (I think we had like 7 holes total in 4 rooms). They also added some new recessed lighting to our finished basement. Everyone who came on site was polite, timely and professional. Communication was good and the price was fair. Very happy working with them and wouldn't hesitate to call them for future electrical needs.

I've used Kemly a few times and always had great experiences. They are always really nice, helpful and efficient. I had a dead GFI outlet today and Mike figured out the cause and switched it out pretty quick. Then since we had some more time, he switched out a dimmer that was giving me trouble and answered my questions about lights, light bulbs, dimmer, etc. Previous times I've used them to run new outlets both inside and outside, change out some light fixtures, and add a third switch for our kitchen lights. Always a good experience. Will use them again!

Electrician Mike was awesome - listened to our wiring issues, came up with solutions and options, was neat and tidy and efficient. Had multiple tasks for which he had solutions.

A transformer blew out our main panel and smoked outlets throughout the house. They were able to come out the same day and get service back by the next. The house was back to normal in a very short time. Everyone we worked with were all friendly, professional, and took care of our things as if they were their own.

I would recommend them to anyone that needs electrical work done.

These folks are great. They've installed two EV chargers for us and replaced a breaker. Easy to work with, great communication, reasonably priced.

Part of the reason I went with Kemly to replace our old breaker and garage lights was because during the quote inspection, they talked me through what the process would be like instead of just listing what needed to be fixed. As someone still learning about home repair, I greatly appreciated that they took the time to explain WHY certain things had to be addressed and how.

And I'm so glad I went with them. Casey and Jonathan did a great job with organizing the wiring and replacing the lights in the garage and with replacing our old Zinsco breaker and globe meter. They kept me up-to-date on what they were doing throughout the day without my asking and let me know what the plan was for the next day when they were leaving. They kept up good humor (by evidence of their laughter and shaking of heads) in trying to map all of the breakers given that the old owners did some of their own work and didn't label the old breakers correctly. They were also very tolerant of my cat wanting to see what they were doing, which I appreciate.

Kemly has done a few jobs at my house including a full rewire/new panel and an EV charger. They have always been timely, responsive, and unbelievably helpful and friendly. I can't recommend them enough.

I've used Kemly for all of our electrical needs since 2003. From remodeling my first condo kitchen to gutting my second condo to remodeling our newest home, they did it all. Knowledgeable people to work with, reasonable solutions to the surprises one finds in a mid-century modern house previously owned by a DIY-er and affordable rates.
Most recently, in preparing our condo for sale, we had to switch out all the electrical outlets, switches & covers to white from ivory (outdated!). We also had to change out the diningroom fixture. Braiden did the did the whole job in one day: 27 outlets, 4 HDMI outlets, 4 GFI outlets, 5 dimmer switches, 2 fans, 6 regular switches and replacing ceiling-mounted swag fixture. Impressive. And he cleaned up after the work, as well.

I highly recommend Kemly! My thermostat went out on one of the coldest weekends and I was fortunate enough to get a same day appointment. The tech was friendly and efficient and explained to me what was going on so I knew what to look for if problems popped up again.

We had a great experience troubleshooting some fans and installing some lighting in the dormer. Johnathan was the best, such a kind and nice human. He was efficient, respectful, a great communicator and very fairly priced. We'd love to have him do electrical work for us again!
