Thank you Mike! We ran out of oil yesterday 2/5/25, one of the coldest days of the year. I was working from home and my daughter is doing remote school so we are freezing. I called Glendale to get my tank refilled and found that Sound Oil now owns that part. I was told it would be between tomorrow 2/6 and Saturday 2/8 which I completely understood. Mike calls later in the day and tells me he can get to me tomorrow but I am 13th on the list. He said he knew we were completely out of oil so he will see what he can do. He was here at 9am the next day!! We have an old rental house and there is no way to know how much oil is left unless you look inside the tank down in the crawl space/basement. When you run completely out of oil you have to reset the furnace, meaning you have to take a panel off the furnace and look for the reset button. I'm a renter, that's not my thing, but Mike told me he would take the panel off for me and all I would have to do is press the red button in one hour and we'd be back in business. Very friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. Thank you thank you thank you!

Great service for the last 15 years. From new furnace installation, maintenance, and oil refills. I also love that they switched to biofeedback too in the recent years!

If you have oil needs they are your go to! They’ve taken care of me since they bought out Glendale Heatings oil customers. I’ve been nothing but happy with them and their quality and top notch service.

They have quick delivery and most people I’ve talked with are excellent , however there is one woman who is awful to speak with has no customer service experience or common decency. She recently didn’t set up an oil delivery after I called and said we were almost out of oil, this was a week ago! I had to call and ask about the delivery because usually it’s within 1-3 days at the most. I hope they figure out who this person is and not allow her to assist any customers. This is the second time she hasn’t done her job. Today

We were loyal customers of Sound Oil for over 10 years at our previous home. After moving out, in the chaos of the transition, we unfortunately forgot to officially close our account. Although we left the house with a full tank, subsequent deliveries were still billed to us after the new tenants moved in.

This created an incredibly stressful situation. We were facing a year's worth of oil charges for a house we no longer lived in. Our attempts to contact the landlord and new tenants to resolve the responsibility for the bill were going nowhere, and we felt completely helpless.

Sound Oil stepped in and became the mediator we desperately needed. They didn't just see an unpaid bill; they saw a complicated situation that needed a fair resolution. Their team proactively facilitated conversations between all parties. They took the time to understand the timeline (including a period where the house was vacant) and fairly split the balance between the landlord and the new tenants, ultimately removing the entire charges from our name.

If this were a large, impersonal energy company, we would have been forced to pay and then sue our landlord in small claims court. But Sound Oil is different. They are a family-oriented business that is genuinely concerned with doing what is right for their customers, even former ones. They took ownership of a messy problem and solved it with empathy and integrity.

We've since moved to an apartment and can no longer use their services, but we will forever be grateful. If we ever own a home with oil heat again, we will not hesitate to return to Sound Oil. They have earned a customer for life.

Glen from Sound Oil came by Friday to repair our malfunctioning furnace. He was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the furnace, showing and explaining what was wrong every step of the way. He was a pleasure to work with, amiable, and patiently answered my many questions. I have had many repairman out here the last 40 years, and he is by far the most thorough and knowledgeable. The man deserves a raise!

This is what true customer service looks like! Absolutely the best. I called after hours for an emergency when our furnace for my house in Burien wouldn’t turn on. Their answering service quickly connected me with a tech who was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He guided us step by step and even followed up with a call to make sure everything was working. Thanks to him, the issue was resolved and the emergency avoided.
