Scott, Don, and Denise were all great to work with. Everyone was super considerate, quotes were competitive, worked with me to adjust a few things, the city inspector even said they did a good job. Very happy with my choice to go with Evergreen. I got a heat pump installed to go with my gas furnace. Works great and looks good.

This summer, my mini split system failed, and I had several companies out to quote a replacement. Evergreen Home Heating and Energy stood out as one of my top choices due to their strong reputation as a local Seattle company that services my neighborhood.

Justin, the Comfort Consultant, was thorough in both his explanations and his assessment of the work. He expedited my proposal in light of the heat in my home and even went the extra mile by helping coordinate a drywall company that was able to patch the walls within hours of his visit.

Although I ultimately went with the original company that had diagnosed the issue, I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to Justin and use Evergreen for future HVAC related issues.

Excellent service as always. AJ has been servicing my home for almost two years now, and he is excellent, very knowledgeable when it comes to heating and air.

I’ve referred them multiple times in the past and I regret it! The person who gave a quote and made sure the inspections passed was fantastic along with all people I’ve spoken with at their office, but the work done is dangerous! We’re in the middle of renovating and found out they didn’t follow code and had cut through the sheathing of the wiring! They also damaged the pressure valve at the compressor and my husband had to order a replacement piece. My husband did a pressure test and found that one of the units had a leak (leaking nitrogen). Absolutely ridiculous for the price paid. Avoid Evergreen if you want to avoid an electrical fire in your home and want quality work.

Excellent service. Efficient, clean, fast, and thorough follow up. Next day call from a customer service bot which had the best IVR ever.

Phoned for emergency service. The AI after hours is not a good way to go. Kept hanging up on me. So went on line and did the Chat AI. After explaining with one expletive thrown in, I was connected to after hours/emergency contact.
The gentleman in call was amazing and solved problem quickly.

Called at 11am for my furnace, they arrived around 2:30 pm to solve the pump issue, and charged reasonable. Efficiency communication and convenience payment options. Thank you!

Two separate heat pump installations at two different sites. Same excellent customer service, work quality, and thoroughness. Evergreen has been fantastic, trustworthy, and easy to work with.

Evergreen always does a great job with my HVAC needs. They are on time, reasonably priced and knowledgeable. Ask for AJ - he’s awesome.

Furnace sputtered during cold snap so called Evergreen Home Heating and
Energy emergency. Tech arrived within hour, cleaned vents clogged with dust and swapped
filter without extras. Explained efficiency dips from damp air here, cost fair for after-hours.

Initially paid for a diagnostic fee ($400+) for the technician to tell us our system has a leak. We scheduled a leak repair for them to come back and say they actually can't repair it and have to just replace the whole unit even though they charged us for the leak search and repair still ($700+). Felt very dishonest and would not recommend

Brandon was exceptional in every way. So friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly ruled out the possible factors causing the issue with our heat pump, and communicated a clear plan of action for solving the issue.

Initial interaction with first technician was mediocre. Notified Evergreen and they sent out another tech (Brandon) who was on point, nice and professional. He inspected initial work, made some corrections, apologized for the situation and that it would be looked into. Evergreen did the right thing and refunded us for the initial issue. I would use them again.

This is a hard and frustrating review to write as I see how many five star reviews Evergreeen Home Heating and Energy has. That is why I picked them over Greenwood who did a fine job on my previous house, and none of what they did failed or needed repair in the years we stayed at that house.

In 2022 we had a brand new Mitsubishi outdoor unit and air handler installed to the tune of $18,821.94. Big splurge for us. We are just school teachers. I was told by the salesman, "You won't even have to think about this thing for ten years" The older one that came with the house we moved to was working fine and cooled awesomely, but I was trying to avoid the older unit dying all of a sudden and being in a sort of fire drill situation of needing to replace it suddenly. So based on reviews and the salesman's persuasiveness, we loaded in before we needed to.

So far this dang thing has cost me $3560.31 in repair bills to keep it working. A tad humiliating. The unit only being three years old, it's like the bid should have been $23k, you know? The thing is that I'm told the refrigerant keeps leaking out of faulty seals.

We also pay to be part of their club. There is some cute name for the club. It basically means you are paying for the privilege to get appointments to have your system worked on and maintained if they installed it, and the ability to call their after hours emergency line, from which I've heard nothing for two days of calling since this most recent leak got so bad the system is essentially a glorified fan currently.

This three year $3560.31 cost to keep a brand new 'bullet proof' and energy efficient system functioning would have been higher, but the first time the refrigerant leaked out, after much debating back and fourth, the manager decided to warranty it. Their first move was to charge me for it. I don't t want to totally diminish the gesture on his part, but the gesture only came after I pleaded the sense of my case up the chain. I find it the decent move since the thing was so dang new.

I just don't understand how someone there doesn't say, "This is odd, mediocre, and unacceptable and we're going to solve this for/with you" That hasn't happened yet, and I just had to call their emergency line as the refrigerant has leaked out again (haven’t heard back from them in two days so far), and the system isn't blowing very cold air or very warm air (this is the cycle when the refrigerant leaks out). So my three yer $3560.31 cost to keep this thing flying right is probably about to go up. Instead of spending nearly 20k to ‘not think about’ this system for ten years, we’ve had to think and stress about it a lot for three years, but/and pay through the dang nose to do so. Crikey.

I fully believe all the five star reviews are valid. And all their techs (I've seen a few at this point) are always nice, and sound knowledgeable. Every tech who has came to the house to diagnose why the last person's sealing job hasn't held has thought they've sorted it out.

I think if you get a typical product and install from them it'll be great. Most of the time it seems like they do a rad job from the beginning and you're good to go, which matches the reputation of these systems and Evergreen.

I'm indulging a speculation here, but Evergreen may have an area of growth for the rare times they need to make something right when the install and product isn't executed well straight away. Which given reviews of their team and the reputation that Mitsubishi units enjoy, is probably rare for them.

Our product and/or install has been a bit cursed, and no one is helping us solve this (I believe this is a fully solvable situation), although they are super duper polite and articulate as they come back out and shrug at the mystery of it all and then send us another invoice.

Evergreen installed our system a few years ago and had been maintaining it ever since. I just had a routine annual cleaning some by Tristan, who was kind and competent, communicating when he was arriving and working quickly.

I've been an Evergreen customer for installing and maintaining my gas furnace for many years. Today Cody came for an annual check-up and maintenance for my furnace, which is 13 years old and out of warantee. He did a terrific job explaining things and took several steps to help extend the life of the furnace. He exceeded my expectations.

Super easy to schedule, was able to get an appointment for the next day. Technician Tristan was great. Friendly, on-time, got the job done right. However, replacement part ended up being twice as much as was quoted by the office when I called to schedule the day before. Not sure where the mix-up was, Evergreen installed the system originally so they should have known what part was needed. Felt like a bait and switch, but I paid it anyways since it needed to get done. I was already paying the $200 diagnostic for them just to come out and tell me what I already knew was broken. There has to be a better way.

The company that originally installed my gas furnace told me it needed to be replaced at just 11 years old. When it started acting up, I had four different HVAC companies come out for replacement quotes. Evergreen was the only one that took a different approach. Justin explained that it might be possible to repair and tune the furnace instead, that might give it another 5–10 years of life. When the furnace eventually stopped working, Kody came out, identified the failed part, replaced it, and now it’s running perfectly. We’ll be scheduling a tune-up soon. I really appreciate that Evergreen didn’t try to push a replacement like the others—they focused on an honest, cost-effective solution.

This company relies on AI and is not truly available 24/7. They sent a technician to my home who was unable to fix my issue, yet claimed it had been addressed. I called back immediately, and their AI bot booked me a new appointment that evening. The technician never showed. I called again over the course of the next two days, with no resolution. I received multiples text threads over the course of the two days stating that my concern had been escalated to the "on call manager," who never called. Today I spoke with the company and they said that there is no one in the office over the weekend! Despite my horrible experience, they refused to refund the cost of the "service." Take your business elsewhere!!!

Leaving my honest experience here. I reached out to Evergreen to collect a quote for ductless heating and cooling system replacement. The estimator understood the scope and timeline that I was looking for and proceeded to give me many reasons/excuses on why it would take their company longer to install and that they couldn't match the warranties provided from their competition. All that to say, their quote came in higher and questionable warranty that made me go with a different contractor.
