We hired Puget Sound Solar to design and install a solar panel system with a backup battery, and we could not be happier with the results. The entire process went smoothly and the crew was great about letting us know everything that was happening so that they were able to minimize any disruptions. The system has been beating our expectations -- even on gray Seattle days, we're generating far more power than we would have ever thought possible!

Puget Sound Solar set me up with solar panels. They are a pleasure to work with, very professional and did an amazing job. Everyone is very nice, I really enjoyed working with them. The various regulatory parts were all administered well and the only issues were with PSE being slow which is not Puget Sound Solar's fault. Also everyone who came to the house are dog people which really made my pooches happy.

Tesla had a delay on the Powerwalls and at first I was willing to wait. When that became untenable PSS pivoted and are helping me with an Enphase backup system. PSS's flexibility and adaptability is very good and I am happy to recommend them. I also am a huge fan of how long they have been in business so they can serve me for warranty, repairs and updates.

One of the panels installed was defective, PSS worked with me and the vendor to correct this and get me running at no cost to myself. Problems and resolutions like this show how good it is to work with a well run company like PSS.

Puget Sound Solar installed a PV array on my roof. I got a few bids for this job, eventually narrowing it down to 2 companies. Puget Sound Solar eventually won out because their pricing was slightly better and the panels they used are slightly more efficient than the competitors. I did all this just before the coronavirus shutdown and Puget Sound Solar couldn't do the installation until restrictions were lifted. Once lifted, they contacted me quickly and got a crew right out. The crew was very efficient and were very respectful. I would definitely recommend Puget Sound Solar to anyone wanting to install a PV array.

I'd highly recommend these guys for EV Charger installation. They were so easy to work with, Andy worked with us over the phone with us emailing photos of the installation site. We got our estimate quickly, and Max came out to do the work about a week after we approved the estimate. They were both super nice to work with, and Max did a great job in every way. He called when he was running late from his prior job, did I nice job with the installation, and totally cleaned up afterwards. Perfect!

Puget Sound Solar is absolutely top-notch, from a patient and informative quoting process to super professional and high quality installation. We chose PSS on a neighbor's recommendation and were very pleased with their array of customizations. With the advent of micro-inverters, we learned that a solar system can be increased modularly, and this helped us identify our priorities and budget. Jeff quoted us a few different options, and we never felt was pushing us in any direction. We were left with a super functional system with room to grow in the future. The installation team was friendly, efficient, and considerate- and thanks to Puget Sound Solar's size, we actually got our system a full two months early when another comparable system for another customer had to be delayed. Now a few weeks into our new system, we feel educated, taken care of and just plain impressed with Puget Sound Solar. We'd recommend them without reservation.

Wonderful experience from the very beginning. Had a new solar panel system quoted and installed on our 2 bd 1 ba house. I loved that there were multiple "quotes" or options as far as size and panel brand/manufacturer. Nothing felt pushy, just facts and questions answered. I wish permitting didn't take as long but that's an issue with the city. Install was very quick and efficient and final inspection went off without a hitch. I highly recommend Puget Sound Solar. Fair prices and great workmanship and I love that they are a much smaller company that is local and has been doing this for over 20 years. NO BS!

From start to finish, Puget Sound Solar was very helpful. They answered all of my questions, were very clear about the process, and quick to respond preparing for and during the installation process. I've had my solar panels for six months now and am very happy with them.

In our quest for Solar, we sought bids from (8) companies here in South Seattle. One "no-bid" because we have a torch down roof, another "no-bid" due to supply chain issues. The others were using a variety of panels from three different sources. The price points had about a $5,000 spread, for similarly sized panels arrangements.

In the end we chose Puget Sound Solar for three reasons:
1 - Responsiveness to answer both technical and financial questions.
2 - The Panels, REC 405W, were the ones we think will stand the test of time. Made in Norway.
3 - A strong recommendation from a prior customer about how they were treated during the whole process.

In the end, the referral we received was accurate. PSS employee Dan Rogers kept us in the loop all the way and Jake Shields is always available for Q&A on anything related to the system.

Like the other reviewers, I can't say enough good things about the overall experience. From the initial contact, to coordinating with inspectors, PSS has been right there for us.

I was especially impressed with the installation crew who demonstrated excellent teamwork and professionalism. And, they completed the whole install and system checkout in a single day! Even better, all of the products are manufactured in Washington.

From the very start, we've been pleased with the professionalism, friendliness and honesty of all the staff with whom we've had contact. Puget Sound Solar was not the lowest bid we received, but their pricing was very reasonable and we never felt any sales pressure. Everything was clearly explained and questions answered. All the work was completed within the timeline we were promised and now we are just waiting for the utilities to turn it on!

Highly recommend these guys for solar. We gathered 6 bids and Puget Sound Solar was the obvious choice. They were knowledgeable and honest about the system options (batteries, microinverter options, number of panels). Other companies felt very “one size fits all” in terms of the bid they gave — Puget Sound Solar walked through various options for us and were super helpful in explaining things like clipping. Other companies may have lower bids, but if you look at the quality of materials (panels, inverters, racks, etc.) you’ll see that Puget Sound Solar is easily the best value in both equipment and expertise. Their warranty and “no bad solar” guarantee matched or beat all other companies we looked at. We’ve had our system running for a few weeks now and are super pleased with it.

I kinda overdid it on the bidding process and wound up getting a total of 8 bids for installing solar panels on my roof. I found Puget Sound Solar to be the perfect balance of quality for the price they offered. They're clearly one of the top 3 solar providers in the Puget Sound Area and highly recommend working with them. Puget Sound Solar was a pleasure to work with. The initial meeting with the sales and design engineer to talk about the ins and outs of going solar was very informative and engaging. As we compared bids with other companies and asked for tweaks in the initial design they were always very responsive. We chose them because they were the least expensive option, and are top quality. Putting up the panels was quick and painless. Everyone we met from the company was friendly and professional.

We chose Puget Sound Solar for our residential solar installation. After gathering quotes from three different vendors in the area, we chose PSS for their competitive pricing, clear and understandable quoting; timeliness, and great communication. They were patient with me as I planned for this project for almost two years. Once we were ready to make a decision, they made the entire process extremely simple and were always quick to respond to any questions I had.

The installation and electrician teams were quick, friendly, and did excellent work. I especially liked the electrician's attention to aesthetic detail when running the conduit along the side of our house!

Also, huge props to Project Manager Clayton who was our main point of contact after signing a contract. He was always available to help us through the project and even got our project moved a week ahead of schedule, which is crucial when trying to take advantage of the long summer days in Seattle.

We chose Puget Sound Solar to install our residential solar panels a year ago, based on their long history in the industry and the detailed information that they provided during the bidding process.

Installation was flawless. They were quick, efficient, handled the paperwork for permits and tax Rebates and took the time to help setup the Enphase app so that I could obsessively monitor energy production and usage.

We have a pretty perfect roof setup (long, south-facing with no tree shade). PSS estimated that the system would produce about 60% of our annual electricity needs, including charging our EV at home. After the first 12months.of use, I can report that our system actually produced 75% of all of our electricity. Absolutely amazing!

It's been really fun to monitor production and usage via the smartphone app, testing how to tip the balance in favor of credits on our SCL bill.

The only downside is that I've turned into the stereotypical Dad who yells "Shut the door! Were you born in a barn?!"

After getting 5 different bids we decided to go with Puget Sound Solar, so glad we did. Friendly, great communication from start to finish and quality work. Roof looks really good with new panels and are working well. Looking forward to recommending their services to others!
