Amazing experience with Wire Craft! Transparent and fair pricing, great communication, timeliness and follow-through, clean-up, quality work, and just very nice people. I would definitely recommend and look forward to using them again in the future!

After noticing our condo was dark during the dreary winter months, we contacted Wire Craft Electric and asked for ideas. The minute we called we knew we were in great hands. From the initial questions they asked, through the site visit and the final plan we agreed on, we could tell they knew exactly what we were looking for -- and more importantly how to do it at a very affordable price. When the crews came to do the installation, they were professional, on time, thorough, efficient and neat and tidy. It took less time than we expected and we are thrilled with the results. Our living room and kitchen are flooded with natural light and the installation looks as if it's always been there. We are writing our thanks to Wire Craft from our brightly lit cheerful living room!!!!!!!!.

After a very scary experience recently with an outlet that had been wired incorrectly, I wanted to have my entire electrical system inspected. I've lived in my home for almost 20 years and in retrospect, wish I had this done years ago. WireCraft Electric was highly recommended to me by my excellent contractor.

During the inspection, Jonathan found several issues, including aged/worn regular and GFCI outlets, another incorrectly wired outlet, and outlets to my washer and microwave that should have been GFCI.

In my garage, he was extremely concerned that I had inadvertently created a very dangerous situation by storing a metal wind chime right next to an open electrical panel. The panel's cover was removed (it doesn't fit securely). He explained that metal wind chime could have triggered a fire/explosion through arching between it and the panel. That discovery by itself was worth everything to me.

He also installed several LED overhead fixtures in my storage/office, replacing old fluorescent tubes and ballasts.

And he cleaned a wall heater that had collected years of dust that released a flurry of sparks when he was here (fortunate timing). The heater is now good as new again.

Jonathan and apprentice Ben worked here all day, and the price was very reasonable for everything they accomplished. Truly exceptional work. I didn't realize that up until now, I had actually never felt fully confident of the electrical systems in my home. I do now. Thank you WireCraft!

UPDATE 8/30/2024 Jonathon installed several Google Home security cameras. He does meticulous work that I know will hold up over time. I opted to use WireCraft Electric for this because I have full confidence in their quality and integrity. Google promotes using people they've certified but I prefer using WireCraft because I know their work is always the highest quality and they look at the larger picture to ensure that the entire project is installed properly. It might cost a little more but it's well worth it.

First of all, Wirecraft Electric is an incredible find. I have built one house and gutted another. At this point, I simply did not think this sort of Electrical Contractor existed. They don't try to upsell or enlarge jobs. They don't act like you are "too small" like the electricians who only work with contractors. They actually solve your problem.

Second, their customer service is spot on. They are immediate on the phone and get you scheduled in. Fast! Unbelievable relief.

Third and most important, I have to rave about the second electrician I hired from this first. The first one was fine, too. I'm convinced they have *all* top-notch electricians. But I received what has to be exceptional service on anyone's scale from Jonathan Wellington. Maybe the best person I have ever worked with in building construction.

My job was TOUGH. I had an antique chandelier that could not possibly be sized at Home Depot. Jonathan figured it out! And then I had what he ultimately said was a home with "Level 10" difficulty. Someone had done some terrible wiring job on the first floor of my house. Jonathan went through and fixed *everything.* What should have taken half a day was 1 1/2 days. I actually told him he should charge me more! He kept to the deal.

This was not some lazy, smoke-break, excuse-making laborer. This was a clean-cut, polite, professional who diligently worked with hardly any break. He was incredibly patient and did what anyone could consider top-notch work.

I hope my enthusiasm is coming through. I'd recommend this company to anyone!!!

We neglected to get a bunch of bad outlets assessed and repaired for several years. Finally called several companies to try to get it looked at. Wire Craft was only charged $79 for someone to come take a look (other companies' base cost was just shy of $400), then quoted a single fee for the work to fix, which was still less than the other companies quoted to just come take a look. He fixed the problem in less than 2 hours, suggested and quoted swapping one of the breakers in the breaker box, did the work, and was still out of the house in under 2 hours. He was kind, professional, and said hi to our cat who was obsessed with him. All-in-all GREAT service! Thank you!

Do NOT use this company if you have a simple, straightforward job that will take 1-2 hrs or less.

The electrician was kind and helpful and did a nice job with installing the new outlet we needed in our garage. He was 2 hrs later than we expected but that wasn’t the end of the world, we were using a last minute cancellation spot. The great work is why I didn’t make this a 1 star review.

The company charges per service, rather than per hour. And they also charge a fee ($79) just to do an estimate. I think if you have a complex problem this likely makes sense. We just needed a simple outlet installed in our garage (so no fancy cosmetics) which I estimated would take <1 hr. The fee sheet which we only were able to view after the estimate showed a new outlet would cost $437 (before tax!). My husband was worried about having to pay the estimate fee (company had agreed to waive the fee if we had them do the outlet today, but we’d owe it if not) and not having the outlet done and I had been arranging the estimates so we didn’t communicate well that this was way out of budget and he felt pressured to have them do the work. The electrician was at our house for no more than 45 minutes. Total. This included the “estimate”. If we had gone with an hourly service our cost would have at least been half of what we paid. I was clear in my communication to the company what work I needed done, and despite having a very clear fee sheet they shared while on site, that was not available to me until after the $79 “estimate” was done (if it’s on their website I was unable to find it - and seems like someone could have told me a new outlet would cost $479 without needing to see my garage wall).

I deeply regret not asking more questions before taking a spur of the moment opening same day (I was in the middle of getting our 3 kids to school when I agreed) and now when I see our almost $500 new outlet in our garage I’m upset and frustrated that so much of our savings went to this little thing that if I had just waited for another electrician I could have saved half the cost.

Bottom line: lovely humans, great work, but ASTRONOMICAL pricing for anything that is an hour or maybe two to get done. And the estimate fee makes you feel pressured to agree on the spot rather than getting a few estimates to compare and deciding (clearly because they’re far more expensive!).

This company was totally responsive to our emergency needs. Rich, the telephone person was very helpful and assured that the electrician, Jonathan would appear at a certain time the next day. Jonathan timely appeared and worked with me through the morning to diagnose and alleviate our power outage caused by me, an incompetent homeowner electrician. Nothing but good things to say about this outfit. You get a lot of bang for your buck. The price was extremely reasonable. Will recall them whenever I need more electrical help.

Wire Craft charged me $79 +tax to tell me they could not install a transfer switch and a generator hookup that I had requested and instead they suggested that my 100 amp panel be upgraded to a 200 amp and a new service hookup, for which they quoted just shy of $11,000. My electrical system had been redone in 2007 and served my needs perfectly.
I contacted two other licensed electricians and chose one who had the immediate availability and they did a beautiful job for a fraction of a new service hookup.

Love all the guys at Wirecraft. Company is quick to respond. They have added car charger installation, fixed breakers and added new wiring. Highly recommend using them for all your needs..

I submitted a request to Wire Craft and was pleasantly surprised when they came out the very next day. I wasn’t expecting everything to be finished in one visit, but Sean got it all done: installing new smoke detectors with updated wiring, replacing an old thermostat, and fixing a broken light switch.

Everything was completed quickly and efficiently. Sean was also extremely friendly.

I had Wire Craft replace baseboard heaters, thermostats, plugs and switches for me last year. The work completed by Adam was so great I hired them again this week. Sean came out to install a 110 volt electrical outlet for me so I could plug in my electric car because I was told previously that I needed to upgrade my electrical panel in order to do that. He looked at my panel and figured out there was already a 220volt dedicated outlet present. He was able to use that connection and give me a wall box charging set up. I am super happy with his work.

I’ve had to get a few inspections done and every time I’ve had a contractor come to my home, they make a comment about the killer wiring work that was done. I wasn’t even the original customer, I’m just a new home owner so I get to enjoy their work for free!

Less than twenty minutes after I phoned, someone came out to inspect the sewer camera. I would really suggest it.

After noticing a leak that needed attention, the problem was resolved without any hassle.
