Kim, their receptionist, is extremely personable and addressed all questions and requested contact information. Jamal’s Crew is beyond amazing. Working on Spokane’s South Hill presents numerous geological issues! The utility issue (ground level gas line) was totally unexpected and totally changed the original project plan. This Crew solved every single issue! The results are perfectly amazing. We highly recommend this Contractor and this Crew!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Working with Brent with Sam the Concrete Man to extend our backyard patio was one of the best home improvement decisions we’ve ever made. From the very beginning, Brent was professional, easy to work with, and incredibly committed to making sure the final product was exactly what we wanted.

Initial Contact & Quote Process: Brent responded to our inquiry quickly and scheduled a consultation within a couple of days. He showed up right on time and took the time to listen to what we were looking for. We were really impressed with how knowledgeable and down-to-earth he was. He didn’t try to upsell us or steer us in a different direction—instead, he focused on helping us achieve our vision while staying within budget.

He walked us through the whole process and explained the pros and cons of different finishes. Since we already had a brushed concrete patio, he suggested we stick with that finish to maintain a seamless, cohesive look—and he was absolutely right.

Design, Planning & Preparation: We really appreciated how thorough Brent was during the planning phase. He made sure the new section of patio would line up perfectly with the existing one in both height and slope, and he carefully planned for proper water drainage so we wouldn’t have pooling issues after rain. What a disaster! My initial contact with Bent was great. The original bid process was awesome, in fact! I was able to record a video of the area where I wanted a 13 X 17 exposed aggregate patio, and the very next day I received a bid for the project. The bid was reasonably priced, they could start within a week, and they could do the work in one day... And that's where the pleasant experience ended! Jamal, the contractor lead, hadn't bothered to evaluate the property beforehand, and because of this lack of planning, had to schedule a concrete pump truck... first delay. Then by the time the pad was poured late the next day, it was too late to finish... second delay. Jamal said that he would show up early Saturday to acid wash and seal. Didn't show up at all. I had to call Brent, the owner, to find out that Jamal was worried about rain in the forecast (It did not rain that day, and in fact we had perfect weather for 4 days, starting on the first day). So then Jamal shows up on Monday to acid wash and seal... with a forecast of 60% chance of rain that day! He claimed that he was going to use a quicker drying sealant, and that rain wouldn't be an issue... The project was finally completed almost a week after the start date. They had piled sod up on the grass, killing a section of my lawn. The patio forms were not sufficient for the thickness of the pad, letting concrete flow out from underneath which created underflow of concrete around the entire pad that looks AWEFULL! They spilled acid was on the lawn next to where their work truck was parked. killing several other sections of lawn. I then reached out to Brent with my complaints and got no response. I've already paid for the project, so I guess that's where the customer service ends! I will NEVER use these guys again!!! And now I'll have to pay someone else to come out and clean up their mess!
REVISION:
I originally posted this review and got a text from the owner, Brent, asking if there was anything he could do to make it right. I said, “Yeah, come fix it!” So two weeks later, he sends a couple of guys out, they look at it and say they have to go get a saw to clean up the edges. They left and didn’t return. When I called Brent to ask what happened, he said they were on another job and wouldn’t be able to come until Monday. (this is Friday) I told him not to bother. I’ll just have to pay someone else to come out and fix their mess! What a terrible operation they run. Most mismanaged company I think I’ve ever delt with!!!

We wanted to upgrade from our Flagstone patio to a larger, Exposed Aggregate patio. The bid process was very easy with the short video submittal followed by a meeting with Brent. Jamal and Mike came to work their magic and we now have a patio that exceeds our expectations.

The whole process was quick and easy from project bid to sipping wine!

I am very happy with the service they provided. They were able to adjust their schedule to accommodate me. The guys came out and were very friendly. I had to leave for the day but when I came back there was virtually no trace of all the moss they removed (there was quite a bit) and the roof looked fantastic.

Very happy with the quality of work. They washed my roof, removed moss & lichens, and replaced a few missing shingles. They cleaned up after and left my yard & house virtually mess free. The people are knowledgeable, professional, patient, and very pleasant to work with.

I had high hopes for Mr Chimney when I contacted them to clean the moss from the roof of our business. The owner was prompt in meeting me and provided a quote. After I received approval to proceed, I called him back to secure a date and time to perform the cleaning. It turns out that he didn't want our business as he is unable to return calls. Disappointing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The dryer works much faster now after getting the vent professionally cleaned recently. Their dryer maintenance, vent cleaning, and fire hazard prevention service removed years of lint buildup safely. The workers were knowledgeable, polite, and explained how to maintain the vent properly moving forward too.

Can’t thank RP Air duct cleaning and Dryer vent cleaning enough. They tackled attic insulation, removed attic mold, repaired our roofing, and cleaned the chimney. Also did dryer vent cleaning and treated the house with pest control. Everything was done well and on time here in Massachusetts.
