James & his crew hooked up our house to for generator use. They did a great job. We had a detached garage, the main wiring harness broke, they did a great job repairing it. I highly recommend James Anderson for all your electrical needs.

HES is a well known and sought after company in my hometown. Why? Not only do they provide quality work... they are real people with high values and moral. James is an amazing man and his company meets all the same qualities. I highly recommend contacting them if you want and the "good" characteristics that is often left out when a service is being provided.

I can’t say enough good things about HES Electrical and Mark! We had an unexpected electrical fire late in the evening, and Mark came out after hours at the last minute to address the situation. His quick response, professionalism, and calm demeanor turned what could have been a disastrous night into a safe and resolved situation.

Very bad experience w Gaffaney Electric,they were hired by Toners sand and gravel to deal w the electrical needs on my home construction but communication was referred over to me due to needing to know cost so i came in budget.after much bothering i was given a verbal estimate for what i needed,never gave a contract nor a legit estimate,but still came and done some of the work which was one day while i was not on site,they never showed back up to even run wire to get me connected ,so they said they were not coming back till i paid them an amount that far exceded what i was told,so they were trying to extort me to get my power on,luckily i found someone honest that came out and helped and got completely taken care of wired my shop w heater lights outlets,ran all wire to my well,cistern,and home,for less than Gaffaneys verbal estimate...My experience was horrible w them and they wont even communicate w me on paying for the little work they did,just sent it to a collection agency...Me being a contractor aswell,everyone i know will get the message...

Contacted Generac for a quote on a generator replacement and they said they would forward my request to two companies in my area. Less than 30 minutes after the call, Rick from Gaffaney called me (the other company never called), asked the necessary questions and quickly provided a written quote. Rick kept me updated on the generator shipment and set an appointment for the install that fit my schedule. His crew arrived on time, were professional and friendly, answered all my questions, worked quickly and left the work area clean of debris and trash. Would highly recommend Gaffaney Electric for a generator purchase and install.

I was a general contractor for years and if I wasn’t retired and had a job these guys would be the ones to call !!! As a residential customer they are the only people who I would call !!!!!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Gaffaney Electric. While the quality of the actual electrical work seems competent, the way this company conducts its business is deeply concerning.

From the start, communication was lacking. I often had to follow up multiple times with Jerry and the office just to get basic updates. Then, without any warning, I received a final invoice that was five times the amount of the original bid — without a single phone call or written change order.

At no point did I authorize switching from a flat rate to time and materials. Nor did I approve work beyond the original scope. I was not even onsite every time your crew came, so the assumption that I silently approved all extra work is unacceptable. I explicitly told Jerry that I never received any change order. Yet, I was still sent an exorbitant invoice.

This kind of “do now, ask later” approach is shady and unethical. In Washington State, the expectation is clear: for non-emergency work beyond the original estimate, contractors are legally and professionally obligated to stop, inform the homeowner, provide a change order or revised bid, and obtain approval before proceeding. Gaffaney Electric did not follow any of those basic standards.

Yes, I will pay the bill — not because I believe it’s fair, but because I refuse to let this drag out further. I will also be filing complaints with the Attorney General, Department of Labor & Industries, and the Better Business Bureau.

It’s truly unfortunate, because your team seemed to do quality electrical work. But your business practices erode all trust. I will not be using Gaffaney Electric again and will be advising others to be extremely cautious — or better yet, take their business elsewhere.

Gaffaney Electric is amazing from the quote, business office, to the install team. Brock and Alex installed my Generac and were great! Having a team at your house all day can be uncomfortable but they made my family feel at ease with their professionalism. Thank you so much! Power went out the very next day and all works perfectly!!!

They did a great job installing our 17.4kW GENERAC. Hire them with confidence. Both their exterior and interior electrical work was top shelf work.

October of 2024 they installed our Generator and integrated panel. Everyone and everything has been awesome Just had the yearly service done yesterday and again awesome.

Alex was very efficient, listened to my concerns and took the time to correct the date and time.
