Lilac Electric & Lighting Design, just completed the install of a 200amp panel for my house and a 100amp sub panel for my garage. From the first meeting with the owner of the family run business; Michael you know you're in good hands, his estimate was a great competitive price. With Micheal customer service is exceptional, from explaining the scope of the project to prompt answers to my questions. Michael and his team are skilled professionals building their reputation on each job. They work quickly and efficiently delivering on top notch work! I could not be happier with the end result.

The team at Lilac Electric & Lighting Design are amazing. When we originally called them we had an electric panel that had not tripped and melted both our wall outlet as well as our surge protector. A fire hazard waiting to happen. Very dangerous and concerning. After an inspection, the owner, Mike outlined everything that they recommended. In our case, it was to replace our panel with a new 200amp panel. the estimate was on parr with other places I had reached out to. Mike detailed all the steps and work needed and the timeline.

Mike, Isaac and Oscar were great. They delivered, were on time, very professional and knowledgeable. They took care of business quickly and everything has been excellent since. It has put my mind at ease, seeing the results. I would totally recommend Mike and his team at Lilac Electric & Lighting Design and would welcome them back for any future work in our home.

Mike and Oscar were efficient at their work and communication. Easy to schedule and prompt. We described our problem which seemed complicated to us, they completely understood and resolved our issue very quickly. Perhaps my favorite part - they literally saved us thousands compared to an estimate from a commission-based company! I am so glad we called Lilac Electric and they will be our go-to from now on.

Alpha Electric has done several jobs for me. Install motion sensor lights, wall heater,plug ins. Always friendly,knowledgable, and reasonable. I will always call them.

Mike came over for a full kitchen remodel. Here is my experience: He was belittling to his employee, an apprentice electrician, he wired my kitchen nook with 14 gauge wire (15 amps) even though it is code to wire kitchens with 12 gauge, 20 amp wire - and he had the gall to argue with me until I read the code book to him. I even told him I was putting a large espresso maker on it. I made him fix it. He lied to my contractor and told me "it all has to be wired back to the kitchen circuit" whatever that means. There are 4 kitchen circuits.

He wired my 4 amp hood vent to the living room circuit! Code says you do not put a motor load on circuits with sensitive electronics like stereo and television. He just didn't want to pull another wire. He put in incandescent outdoor flood lights even though the contract says LED.

He didn't even consult me about receptacle color - got cheap stark white. He WAS kind enough to install the receptacles and switch covers BEFORE the cabinets were installed so they all had to come off. Had 3 loose boxes - so loose that the drywall started to crumble when you plugged and unplugged appliances. I had to fix them myself. Two separate electrical boxes for receptacles that were neither plumb or level with each other so it looks stupid.

LAZY and POOR WORKMANSHIP.

The quote was done fast, but very poor customer service. Had to constantly call for the quote update, once received could never get a date to do the work. Last straw was when I gave them a week to give me at least a date to make arrangements for work, and the rep HUNG UP on me. Very poor customer service, Im glad I didn't pay before the work was done. Will not recommend.

These guys are great! Mike did a great job, and explained everything well. He saved me about $2000 compared to a couple other companies that were just trying to do unnecessary work to get more money. Thank you!

I have used Alpha Electric multiple times over the years, the electrical work is well done, rate is reasonable, staff is knowable, courteous.

This electrician agreed to install an exhaust fan in my bathroom. I tried for a month to get him to do the work, or at least schedule it. Every time I called, I got the same answer: “You’re on the list. I’ll call you late this week or early next week” He never did. Disgusting customer service. Although after reading the other negative reviews, maybe it’s for the best. I’m getting great service with OK Electric company now.

I would recommend Alpha ( Mike) any day. Came out an fixed it right away instead of giving a huge repair order like another company did.

Alpha Electric was on time, reasonably priced, and extremely professional. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs electrical work done on their home or business. No nonsense, cleaned up after themselves, and were in and out in a timely manner. Great company. Alpha Electric will be my first call for any electrical needs moving forward.
