I am very pleased with Greater Power Electric. Once contacted, the electrician, CJ, texted me immediately to set the appointment. When a closer appointment opened up he texted again, offering to move my appointment up.

When CJ and his apprentice came they were prompt, knowledgeable, and very nice. They immediately knew what to look for to fix my several switch and receptacle shorts. They were done in a flash, and left each area clean.

I actually am also an electrician, and I was impressed with this team. They embodied everything one wants in an expensive service call- very knowledgeable, very fast yet still precise, and very clean. I don't think anyone could have done a better job.

I had a breaker for the garage fail. Most vendors were at least a week out but Blaine showed up the next day! After he quickly fixed that, I asked if he could quote to trouble shoot some power outages in my basement. He went downstairs and instead of quoting what it would cost, he just figured it out and fixed it! Great service and I would highly recommend them!

We are so impressed with Greater Power Electric & Lighting! We needed help with an electrical issue at our fitness studio, and they were able to not only get to us quickly, but figure out and fix the problem right away. We highly recommend this company, and will be calling them for future needs!

The work was completed within a reasonable amount of time and other than a few extra spots of drywall that got messed up that really didn’t need to be I’m fairly happy with the work. I just felt that throughout the process Greater electric wasn’t being transparent to me. They quoted me saying walls would need to be ripped out and it was going to be a very large scope (the bid went along with this). But then on day 1 they “discovered” that with the existing access panels it would be a far easier job than previously anticipated. They got very aggressive and even sent somebody to my house when I asked how the amount of work they had to do cost the same amount even though they had executed a very different plan than they had told me they would. At the end of the day I feel I left with quality electrical work at an inflated price, and as a customer I feel worked over. I won’t be calling Greater Power and Electric any time soon.

Blaine and Gabe are a great team of professionals. They not only complete their work in a timely manner but also take the time to explain any changes they feel would produce better results. I can’t say enough about their kindness in communication and timeliness of their services. And, they clean up after their job leaving all work areas sparkling! We highly recommend using their expertise on any project, they always come up with a safe solution to problem areas. Clean, quiet, quick and respectful is their mode of operation. I bought an old home and Blaine and his crew were instrumental in getting the electrical system up to par. Plus wiring me up for a new hot tub! Not only did they do a great job - punctual, professional, and clean, they also problem solved another solution for extending some wiring that was going to be very time consuming and expensive. Michael, Issac and Gabe were just all-around great people, and it was a pleasure to have them in my home. Would definitely recommend.

Working with Blaine was an outstanding experience. He was timely, communicative, unbelievably polite, and a perfectionist. In addition to what we hired him to do (switch out every outdated outlet in the house and install recessed low-profile lights into the ceiling--all of which now looks phenomenal), he went back over some of the work the previous home owner had DIY'd and found they had made some mistakes. Blaine made sure to correct everything he found and brought it up to code. I cannot recommend Greater Power Electric enough. Blaine (and Gabe) were exceptional.

I contacted Greater Power because I saw their work first hand in a friend's remodeled kitchen. I have used many different electricians over the last several years, but the pristine results I saw prompted me to call Blaine. I hired the company to install overhead lighting in several rooms that either had none, or outdated lights. The team's punctuality, communication, and quality of work is above-par. I was kept informed at every step and given choices when available. Blaine found some faulty wiring from prior owner's remodels, and explained the hazards involved if repairs were delayed. It was an unplanned component, but he worked with me on timing and budget, and finished this additional, but vital, repair work quickly and efficiently. I'm grateful, too, that everyone was really diligent about cleaning up dust and insulation after they were done. I have future projects, and am so pleased with the company that I will likely work with them again in the future. Blaine, Gabe and Evan - you do good work!

Blaine and his team rewired my 1925 house removing the knob and tube. I wasn’t expecting that I would not only have a safer home, but I would have the opportunity to make lighting placement updates. I appreciate his knowledge on older homes and his consultative approach. His team was professional and friendly. They took great care to minimize dust and immaculate with clean up at the end of each day. Costs were competitive with other bids I received. My decision to hire Blaine was based on his experience with knob and tube rewiring, competitive pricing, and his insights on improving the function and aesthetics of my home.
